  • ok cool so that means that no matter which inversion it is if you drop the 2 it will always be considered drop 2. And does it change the way the chord is written as all so instead of being CMaj7 would it be written some other way?

  • Drop 2 voicings are usually on adjacent strings.

    Drop 3 voicings usually include a skipped string.

    Closed voicings are often a 'bear' to play, but not all of them are so, and many of them sound great ! Good Lesson well explained.
