That move at 1:46 is cool, looks similar to a bent-over row. Like a harder version of an australian row since the legs aren't taking any weight but your torso is supine and the pull is horizantal.
awesome video guys, im just starting out and cant do a single pull up/ chin up do you have any suggestions for me so i can gt one chin up down at least!? :/
Not only have you shown me it is possible to build your own "Jungle Gym" but you two guys managed to show many varied exercises in such a short space of time.
I now know I am missing out with just my door ledge pull up bar and want to upgrade to something like your setup.
Hey were was the part of the video showing the both of yall being fat assess drinking beer & eating porkskins/doritos, dont be coming up on you tube knocking out chins and pull ups, and your already in shape, thats not right! but i love the bar! PEACE!
Nice, my girl has the same wendy house as yours (seen at 3mins) Wish I had the same strength as you 2! Something to inspire me maybe - strong design - keep it up!!
@tubinjpasc We didn't do any welding. The bars were fabricated by a local metal-smith. All the info on how this was built is in an article that can be accessed by clicking the link in the description.
exactly, I am working on a full body suit and everyone still gives me looks like I am going to rob them.
Amazing abilities, I am going to build a pull up bar in my back yard (i have kettle bells, ropes, boxes, tires etc already.) Body weight exercises look easy but they are hellish.
Wow you guys are so awesome and charismatic and those feats of strength are just ridiculous! doesn't that thing you did at 2:04 defy the laws of physics? lol
"Bing-Bong", next stop,... the top!! You guys rock with this set up. Great job, the setup looks real sturdy and you can even improve on it later. No excuses, now, get that $!!!!
Very nice! Bars look thicker than the ones you train on in the park. The whole system is very sturdy, set deep into the ground, I bet it's got zero oscillation the way it is built, solid as a rock. How does the grip feel?
@djaponezu63 Yeah these bars are thick, which makes everything harder but also that will hopefully make us stronger! A lot of the details are discussed on my blog. The link is in the description.
That's really awesome. I want to build one now. Al, could you give a little more info on the building process, such as dimensions and materials used? Did you buy the bars at a hardware store?
@WidjajaRyan This bar came to about $500 for everything--that includes some tools like post-diggers. You couldn't get 6 months at a gym in NY for that! Thanks for watching.
