String. My cat is so obsessed with string/rope/thread/ribbons that he ate some thread, got it wrapped around his tongue and went into his upper intestines. He had surgery and he's still addicted to string. I call it string crack for him.

My littlest one loves elastics, esp. the thicker ones that come on broccoli or asparagus. She sniffs them out wherever they are - needless to say I had to stop keeping them on the back of the stove. She will loop one around her hand (paw) and then stretch it out with her teeth. She also loves to bring them around the chair legs for more interesting play. At first I was worried about her ingesting them but I monitored her and she has no interest in it.

How do you know that your cat eats them? Have you witnessed it? I am just wondering because I am pretty sure that my cat does not eat them but I always get paranoid. Sometimes it is difficult when they can't fully articulate what they are feeling.

He goes crazy for them, and eventually starts chewing them apart. I didn't think he was eating them until I put 3-4 pieces together and was missing some to make the ends match right. I don't need any emergency surgeries - with 9 catZ, so I only let him play a little while watching and then tuck them away. Just be careful!

Cat have ssome of the best eyes in the animal kingdom! I'm huge on eyes. They're one of the first things I notice in the opposite sex, I like anime, mostly because of the art, eyes of course.

My ex-wife has the nicest eyes I have ever seen on a woman. Michelle Pfeiffer is a very close second.
