LOL, no, I don't do that after every loss(and sometimes wins) like the wings do. Game was pretty even and we got edged out because Crawford could control a rebound and let in a shot he probably shoulda saved. And as far as the hit, do you remember Kronwall getting a hearing this year, yeah that was a suspendable hit, but according to Shanahan, the reason he didn't get suspended is the reason Carcillo got suspended.

Yes, but not being on TV wasn't because the fans wouldn't come, its what made them leave. The new GM started making fans pay for it, and it was only the away games that got shown. And there was plenty more he did too. As far as the interference, again, it was a collision, they just skated in the same area of space and they tangled skates, it was just as much interference for the wings as it was hawks, so get over it, its not a penalty and never will be.

I just don't understand how Chicago fans can complain about bad reffing. This game the Blackhawks had 6 powerplays to the Redwings' 2 powerplays. Last game the Blackhawks had 5 powerplays to the Redwings' 1 powerplay. In both games the Blackhawks also got a penalty shot. As for the puck crossing the line, I watched the replay several times and the puck did not cross the line completely. The puck has to cross the line completely to count as a goal.
It was 4 PP to 2. Hawks have always drawn penalties for the wings, and the way they out skated them the deserved a 4 to 2 advantage, in both games they deserved a PS if not should have had 1 more in the 1st game. As far as the puck crossing the line, it was inconclusive, I think it did go, but it was to hard to see.

Bad call are made every game in hockey. The crappy thing about this is the to many men wasn't called first and foremost. 2ndly this game would have never made it to over time if it wasn't for Holmstom sticking his glove in the net and pulling out a goal in the 3rd. instead the hawks get a pen shot which makes no sense if you watch that replay the puck clearly crosses the line.

It was a great game between two division rivals that included a few controversial calls and non-calls. When it comes to Wings-Hawks it's not surprising to see a lot of banter between their fans after a game like that.

it says Wings 1 for 2 on the PP. Hawks 1 for 4. Hell, the wings were on a 5 on 3 according the the stats for 10 sec, so how do they get that with 1 penalty. @Kartkid024 the rule is 10 feet, the guy he is replacing is at center when he gets to the blue line. The hawks were cheeting the shift changes all night, you can't expect a ref to call interference for not getting out of the guys way in overtime. I suppose YOU can, because you are a moron.
The rule is 5 feet, but I don't know the last time that has ever been enforced. They usally let it go if it doesn't effect the play. It should be interference when the guy not only jumps off the bench in front of a player chasing the puck down, but also makes contact, its always been called. This was far from incidental too, it caused the hawks from keeping the puck too in the zone. As far as the hawks too many men, it happened after and still, atleast it stops the play.
There is no way in hell the refs gave the Wings this win. I don't understand why all the Blackhawks fans are bitching. In both games that the Wings & Hawks have played this year, the Hawks have had 2 penalty shots & at least 5 pps in each game. The Wings have had only 3. So why is everyone mad about penalties & it being lopsided?

LOL, no, I don't do that after every loss(and sometimes wins) like the wings do. Game was pretty even and we got edged out because Crawford could control a rebound and let in a shot he probably shoulda saved. Howard did a great job in the game to keep his team from losing it in the 3rd. Yes, but not being on TV wasn't because the fans wouldn't come, its what made them leave. The new GM started making fans pay for it, and it was only the away games that got shown. And there was plenty more he did too. As far as the interference, again, it was a collision, they just skated in the same area of space and they tangled skates, it was just as much interference for the wings as it was hawks, so get over it, its not a penalty and never will be.

I just don't understand how Chicago fans can complain about bad reffing. This game the Blackhawks had 6 powerplays to the Redwings' 2 powerplays. Last game the Blackhawks had 5 powerplays to the Redwings' 1 powerplay. In both games the Blackhawks also got a penalty shot. As for the puck crossing the line, I watched the replay several times and the puck did not cross the line completely. The puck has to cross the line completely to count as a goal.

Not entirely of course but they made the difference. As far as games this year, they only ones hawk fans and myself have said anythings about refs is the pens, the flyers, LA and the Wings. And the majority of those came in a weeks time, so of course hawk fans were angry at that point. Wing fans bitch refs every game.

I already told you, like any fan I've had my issues with officials, but never blamed them for a loss like wing fans love to do so much. As far as not knowing the rules, I already said (If you could learn to read) that it was just something I noticed that would have been weak, but he knocked the hawks player into Crawford, which since you seem to know the rules so much, so still a penalty even though Franzen didn't touch him.

watch pav for a game. you think he gets the calls that kane, toews, crosby, etc get? pav takes as much abuse, cross chekcs, slashes as those guys if not more and doesn't whine, embellish, dive and doesn't get the benefit of drawing a penalty shot on a clear cut break. how about toews interfering with datsyuk once the wings got possession on the eventual goal? nothing called there on toews for the retaliation haul down on pav after hitting him. he grabs him from behind and takes him down, BS!

the problem with hawks fans is their blind. he grabs pav's shoulder with his right hand and yanks. if it is a skate collision then toews is the worst and dumbest skater i've ever seen. he clearly saw pav and grabed him. there was actually no skate contact at all, toews skates are clearly behind pavs. it's a hold, interfernece, or whatever you want to call it. directly after that the hawks had a sloppy change with 5 skaters on the ice and 4 in the d zone while toews crawls back to the bench.

Never see any other teams get called for Boarding or Goaltender Interference anymore. They LOVE to call back goals where Holmstom is clearly a foot outside the crease. Abdelkader gets called if he so much as looks cross-eyed at another player. Bertuzzi as well. See if you can find a video of Douglas Murray's head hit on Franzen in the '10 playoffs. Flat out guarantee you that if a Red Wings (a la Kronwall) had made that hit, he would have been thrown out, and maybe suspended.

The probablem remains Carcillo got suspended and other players have been suspended for just as dangerous hits. It was reckless, but because he played with shanahan he didn't get suspended. It's not about Datsyuk's shot that was impressive, it was his shift. Falls down behind the play, gets up, beats two hawks out of the corner for a shot, gets the rebound, then intentionally banks it off the D man.He is unreal. Yes the play was nothing "special" but he does it time in and time out, and no other player in the league does it as much as he does.

The rule is 5 feet, but I don't know the last time that has ever been enforced. They usally let it go if it doesn't effect the play. It should be interference when the guy not only jumps off the bench in front of a player chasing the puck down, but also makes contact, its always been called. This was far from incidental too, it caused the hawks from keeping the puck too in the zone. As far as the hawks too many men, it happened after and still, atleast it stops the play.

In both games that the Wings & Hawks have played this year, the Hawks have had 2 penalty shots & at least 5 pps in each game. The Wings have had only 3.
