Mint Condition is super focused and dedicated. Mainstream radio is NOT dedicated and focused on real music. If you're a true fan of MC, you will know they have always remained loyal to their music, fans and the industry. These brothers are so overlooked and most people only know 1 or 2 songs by them, unless you're a true fan.
I think these guys could have been the hip-hop generation's " earth wind & fire", if they had been more focused/dedicated to that "end".............tight musicianship, though, obviously............they definitely draw on historical sources, all the way back to the mills brothers and louis jordan, etc. as well as jam and lewis.
straight ahead!!! it is funky and totally danceable. the pocket is strong.
