  • Innsbruck looks so beautifull ..

  • a little bit of turbolence, isn't it? ;-)

  • why those guys clap when the plane stops

  • Brilliant video, i am going to Inn next week and preparing for the 08 arrival with horrific winds!!

  • Nice approach :)

  • hard landing but nice approach :D

Why do they clap? Like:Thank Pilot you didn't make us dead :D

  • Also meine Kunden klatschen nicht, wenn ich ihnen gerade was verkauft habe.

  • And i thought that only greeks clap out due to a landing.........

  • one nice landing !

  • What's with Europeans clapping on landings? Don't do it on U.S. carriers or you might freak out the Air Marshall. Also, don't take photos or make video on board. Air Marshalls are to report 2 suspicious passangers a month to show they're doing their job, which can result in gang stalking. Look up gang stalking TV, gang stalking survivor, cell phone stalking, Monarch II (pt twelve), koefnoen, citizen spies, tyrannical oppression, freedom's bloody corpse, backscatter x-rays on YouTube.

  • @1975Aspen Sorry man, no quotas for Air Marshall's in the U.S., and videos are perfectly fine. just so long as you keep your seatbelt on.

  • @Hautamekki

    hahahha

  • Wasn't spectacular

  • @allard1999

    watch the first part!

  • That plane looked like it was going pretty fast on landing.

. . Naja Tuifly piloten sind die besten . . . das war noch die alte Tuifly . . .

  • Why not clap, think of it in the same way as a tip is for a waiter.

  • Drives me crazy how people make stupid comments about passengers clapping for the pilots. I think it's great that, unlike here in the U.S., airline pilots in other parts of the world are respected and appreciated for the job they do.

  • Austria's Kai Tak! :-)

  • Das erinnert mich an Balmaceda in Chile... :)

  • woo"{

  • its a two part video of the aprox right? vey scary im sure because i never saw a aprox as yours to innsbruck. great job!

  • People clap out of respect for the Pilot, Here in Belgium it's normal.

It's also one of the best things a pilot can receive, a beautiful applause

  • @MisterDirtyWorkz Well said :)

  • @MisterDirtyWorkz true, thats why i always start clapping and everyone else around me is following until the whole plane is clapping its hands =D

it's just a sign of respect you HAVE to show to someone in whose hands your responsability laid in during flight!

  • The passengers are probably clasping because they (in contrast to the pilots, I hope) got a slight shock when the original approach was aborted, and next they probably were caught off guard by the sudden, narrow turn over Axams (to be seen in the author's other video). Terrain getting that close and Foehn wind tearing about is always good for some excitement.

This approach is standard procedure, yes, but so is relieving your stomach while taking off from or landing at Innsbruck.

  • In Australia no one ever claps after a plane has landed. (At least not on my flights)

  • shit austrians !!! no just a joke !! ;-)

but if it's a private business flight and they fly daily, it's normal for those peoples !

  • do a video !! ;-)

  • arkefly 737 they fly to azores to

  • innsbruck is one of the harderst airports to land, because its in a valley and you have no really ILS. i can approach by ILS (111.10 MHZ) but you can't land with ILS because theres a safty altitute. the course of the rwy 26 is 258° i think but the ILS gives you the way to 250° or something like that

  • Haha, shut up...

  • Maltese clap too...it's not as normal traveling with a plane than with a car...so it's quite natural to clap for a successful flight.

bdw i've landed at that airport and it has a really great scenario going down by those mountains

  • when i said: it isn't hard to fly i ment that flying itself isn't that hard..

  • wat the fuck was those claps for? it's silly, very silly billy to clap on a very normal landing

  • they were just happy not to crash, stupid!

  • oh yeah, like they were waiting for the plane to stall on approach,

  • mabey they don't clap now if i was on that flight I would of clapped too on that not so easy landing thank god piots can train in a simulator first under these conditions

    Keep Rocking!

  • that is typical german... on every flight the people clap!! tuifly is a german airline so that most of the passengers are german

  • that is not sure that the most passengers are german; on my flight from Istanbul to Vienna with Austrian Airlines, the most passengers were turkish ;)

and people clap also on austrian or swiss planes not only on german planes ^^

  • Comment removed

  • on every charter planes you can hear people who clap! you will never hear claping people on a normal flight

  • That is a normal flight. That isn't a charter flight!

Cologne-Bonn to Innsbruck is a city route.

  • sometimes you hear it also on normal flights...

on my flight to New York, were also clapping people ^^

  • people are that relived to be on the ground siggghhhh i love flying i wish planes didnt crash and explode haha people would be less tense

  • idiot !!

    normaly all people clap !!

if it is an intercontinental flight or an other flight !!

  • i dont understand why people clap anyway.

  • i dont understand it, too !!

it's a normal and daily situation for the pilots !!

but i think that th most of all people clab, because they savely on the ground again !!

  • Well they are more likely to die in their cars so i dont see why they clap.

  • i think the same !!

  • In general, most passengers don't realize that.. they think turbulence means danger.

  • II'm from Colombia...they clap too

  • These days passengers don't clap anymore! I think it's strange since it's very cool that they've landed since it's not easy ( on any airport )

  • It is not that hard. Landing (and flying) for pilots is so routine that it´s like "driving a bus" as I´ve heard from some captain. Flying is more safer than being/driving a car.

  • yes, but a bus driver and a pilot don't need the same skills to land there.. but you're right about flying.. it isn't that hard to fly..

  • You're wrong. It IS difficult to fly.

It is safer than a car because the pilots are so experienced and professional at what they do. They require a couple of years of intensive training before they can fly commercially. Not any yokel can come up and fly an A380.

  • well the way planes are going any idiot can fly them..but flying them manually is where the pilots get paid and what they are trained for

  • Well, it's definately getting easier. But I wouldn't say 'idiot'.

  • ive seen and heard loads of stories, there are some real idiots flying these planes you question how they got a license in the first place

  • Well, I think you're right, I saw on National Geographic Channel that the chance of and aircraft crash is 1 on 11 million. By the Way, did you heard about the plane crash in Holland ( yeah i'm dutch :P ) ?

  • You´re right about National Geographic said.

Yeah, I heard yesterday about in your country Holland. It´s sad, although I don´t much like Turkey (according my travel experience), still it´s sad and should not ever happened to them on board. By the way you have nice channel.

  • thanks ;) It is big news here! ( the plane crash )

  • There has been now 14 air crashes for Turkish Airlines.

  • I landed on the same airport in Flight Sim..

The real Inssbruck is 10x more beautiful... =D

  • the clapping at end reminds me of landing at madeira airport

  • is doch nett?^^

  • was?

  • alter bist du blöd :D wo is en da bitte was falsch? hast es halt falsch verstanden, steh halt dazu lol

  • nice video. the plane was going to the right and then he was going to the left isn't?

  • ich kanns nur immer wieder sagen
