Just a question: what would would it mean if a solution was saturated? take e.g. sodium chloride (aq) is there a set limit of hydrogen bonds between Na+ and the O- ions? if so would it mean if all the water molecules were "full" and could not take anymore sodium chloride ions; no matter how much you mix more in, it would just sit there and not dissolve?

@zwasfi You are correct. However, he is just trying to show that water is a special case. It was meant to be more qualitative than it was to be quantitative.
