I've only seen #s 5, 4, and 1. Modern Times is one of my favorites (though I prefer City Lights), The Treasure of the Sierra Madre is excellent, but Dodsworth really disappointed me.
Between the sweater and the movie choices i`m estimating Mathew`s age to be at about 124. Come on dude, you were once Ferris Bueller...dont you remember
Matthew Broderick: hands down, maybe the most uncharismatic, underachieving actor of all time. Then again, most of those John Hughes-ish 80's actors amounted to much of nothing. With the exception of Robert Downey Jr. (one of my favorites); proof that genius shines through.
This is one of the only lists that are worth anything. Michael Caine's is awesome, Katherine Heigl's is a joke. I don't think she has watched many movies that she is not in...
Completely expected these kinds of films to be his top favourites, haha. And judging from the RT scores for each I'd say his taste isn't questionable at all.
nobody made funnier movies than Woody Allen (when he was doing comedies); ;only Mel Brooks was in his league..

Like, he'll celebrate holidays like Chanukkah or Rosh Hashanah, but he's not the type that'll go to temple every week.

We were just sitting down to watch "Ferris Beuler's Day Off" when I happened to see this appear in my subscription. Awesome timing!
The #1 pick is well-timed as well since we just watched Casablanca and The Big Sleep.
