How did you suspect it was the screen wire that was faulty? Are you a tech kind of guy? I wonder if I could correct something like this. I'm an expert amature.
Hi CoasterCloud thanks for the comment. There was the post it on the Sansa player that said no screen. I didn't have a different screen to replace it. So i figured it wasn't going to hurt anything to open it up and at least check the wiring. So I got lucky.
Yes I am a very big tech geek. I think anyone with the internet can go out and find the answers they need. They're out there somewhere. All you have to do is try.
Get Rockbox on your Sansa! You can play games and it will support .ogg vorbis encoding, etc. Also, win for posting prices and comments during the video. Well produced.
