  • Would have been nice to have at least brushed out her hair.

  • Theres that smile again ;)

  • Just use a CPL to remove the reflections.

  • Thank you

  • The tennis ball test was very informative and memorable. thankx

  • best model ever

  • What about using a polarizing filter to control glare

  • Good tutorial! I think understanding light is one of the first things up and coming photographers should learn!

  • Very helpful tips~!!! Thanks Chris!

  • wouldn't using a polarizing filter help with reflections?

  • No, a polarizer wouldn't do any good with the reflection from the glass coming straight forward. They only work on a certain angle range, best around 90º if I remember correctly.

  • ashley looking good

  • interesting video, I have always been scared of the reflection on the glasses during the shooting.Plese post some more, this time with a different background. for example a darker background/

    thank you

  • can't get much darker than black?

  • @cannoir I generally raise the offending light, so the reflection is downwards. Having a dark studio also helps with small reflections from misc. objects.

  • Good basic video for a common problem.

  • Thanks so much for sharing that one Flash Centre.
