made with 150 k, this movie ended up earning 20 million dollars worldwide. that does not include the huge DVD sales. on IMDB, 33000 votes are already registered. Makes me wonder why a big budget bullshit is a better idea. Plus i really like Marketa. she speaks so little but she really has something to say when ever she talks. Her oscar speach was brillian too.

when I saw them he was like 'Is the sound okay?' at least 2 or 3 times, because he didn't 'care if it sounded good up here' and wanted the audience to hear it well.

What a beautiful film, the 'actors' are a testament to the purity of the central theme, it really shows up the over-saturaturation of Hollywood movies. It's great to see a film that focuses on storyline over gloss well done all involved!!!

I am so proud of them! Looks like a fairy tail but it proves it's possible to touch people's hearts and reach a huge success. They reached it via their hard work and open hearts and that's why they deserve it more then anybody else. This is the real art! Blahopřeju!

I don't see domination I see him trying to make it easier for her. She seems very timid and shy - but sweet - and he's more of an extrovert with strangers it seems. You can tell when she's with people she knows she's more outgoing. I think she's fantastic. Both are. In all of 1 day that I've known of their music and fell in love with it.
