There are a lot more people out there who have a complicated relationship with God because of religion. I believe that there is a god, but da church, and all religions are manmade. We shouldn't have to have a 3rd man speak to god for us. It should be a one on one relationship with god. Some make a bigger effort to find the answers others take longer to find God, but essentially I think we all feel him in times of need, get rid of religion, keep GOD.
