Boxing won't "die" it just needs to wake up to what's been happening for the past few decades, the promoters are breaking the back. There are still great boxers thus boxing matches going on and that's partially due to the rising of mma. However guys like Pac Man, Pretty Boy Floyd, Calzaghe and other up and comers like my man from Ardmore, Eric "Danger" Fields (look him up, Golden Gloves champ 04 05) can boost boxing. Boxing lives, it just has to adjust.

Personally I prefer Pride a lot more, it's more exciting and techincal to watch and you're allowed to kick when you're down in Pride like you would normally do in a real fight plus the exciting outside weight class fights 180lb Gracie VS 500lb Akebono and everything in between like Fedor Vs Hong Man Choi. Also they do a better job with all the little details in Japan to run the events.

no thay only get a % of what ppv thay bring in loot at it like this in ufc 100 thay got 5 mill at the gate and the purse was 1,790,000 total and the ufc has over 100 staff to pay and have to pay for using the stadium and pay the ppv comp but boxing can bring in 100+mill a fight and pay the top fighter 45mill a year if the ufc made 100mill at the gate it would pay out about 20mill a show if not more soo it adds out

Boxing won't "die" it just needs to wake up to what's been happening for the past few decades, the promoters are breaking the back. There are still great boxers thus boxing matches going on and that's partially due to the rising of mma. However guys like Pac Man, Pretty Boy Floyd, Calzaghe and other up and comers like my man from Ardmore, Eric "Danger" Fields (look him up, Golden Gloves champ 04 05) can boost boxing. He has a point you can't really compare UFC and boxing. You can compare it with Pride though. Personally I prefer Pride a lot more, it's more exciting and techincal to watch and you're allowed to kick when you're down in Pride like you would normally do in a real fight plus the exciting outside weight class fights 180lb Gracie VS 500lb Akebono and everything in between like Fedor Vs Hong Man Choi. Also they do a better job with all the little details in Japan to run the events.

No, I don't think it's going to be the biggest sport. It's only popular because they had a few good fighters. Not saying that MMA is going to not be good. But it won't be the sport of kings. It can't be because boxing has undefeated champs. MMA won't ever have that. No one in this sport has a record like that. Only fans that have no champs, go to MMA.
