@tearsofafairy That's what I thought. Because 'woman born a woman' is also someone born with a male body because the fases for brains and body (in utero) didn't sync up. The brain is STILL a women's brain. Physically (differences shown on scans). The whole thing with 'M>F' transsexuals is that you ARE born a woman but the body didn't match up. So I wonder why those women are singled out.

I'm a CIS-woman but these things just baffle me, why don't people get it?

I'm not a member of the Dianic Tradition (I have yet to meet a Dianic Wiccan where I'm from) but my Goddess is Diana. What I do to maintain balance within the Circle and still honor and respect what my Goddess represents is call Her twin brother, Apollo, to participate as the God aspect. The Goddess of the Earth and Moon and the God of the Sky and Sun, brother and sister...they work very well together. :)

Do you know why there isn't a male-counterpart for Girl-Power, for example? Girl-power is what it implies by its name, females who really aren't women yet, they aren't grown, acting pre-pubertal and refusing to take responsibility. Could you imagine a Boy-Power? Maybe it would work for boys, but not for grown men.

Honestly, to be quite frank, I think that Dianic Witchcraft is a bit sexist. I mean I love, and worship the Goddess in my every day life. I belong to RCGI, a Dianic church. They have the Hallows Gatherings every year for women's mysteries. You can find them on their website. I am grateful that I have a family that traditionally honors the female. The men ask us women for advice with nature's chaos, because women are closer to it than men can be. All Women, by the nature of our gender are Dianic. You may need to watch the video again to get the meaning of Dianic. We recognize both God and Goddess in ourselves and in Nature, but we hold up the Goddess and Honor her in ourselves and remember our lineage of being a Women throughout the ages.

Just as Men should do for the God in themselves...

'i don't know what its like to circle with just men'... kinda boring, actually. without trying to sound specious, its just a different dynamic, and there is no social need for men to assert their power and confidence and potency as its built into the masculine experience by default (on both the spiritual and social levels).

It was like suddenly all the veils of reality that hang between all the generations that had been and would be burst open to connect all my female ancestors with me through this intense moment of THE female experience. The crying I did when giving birth was because of the enormous power and enormous realisation that hit me.

I completely agree how important Women's Circles and Groups are. Men have theirs and Women certainly should have theirs. I agree also that interacting with men only or women only groups are not necessarily excluding consideration of the opposite gender. Its really cool that you got so much from your experience ! I got shivers when you spoke of the women in our lineage, I really wish we have a festival like that in Australia, I would take my daughter in a heartbeat. I'm glad you did this all in one take, I could feel your energy and I'm so greatfull that you could share this with us... even if your footage wouldn't work properly ;)
