Maybe you speak a different variation of Teochew than the Singers (I only understand bits and pieces myself, to be honest)? Maybe you don't understand because they use Standard Written Chinese (Putonghua) for their lyrics, later only reading it in Teochew, while you only understand Vernacular Teochew? Or maybe the teochew you speak is so foreign, it may as well be Dutch?
Either way, they are still sing something about months and flowers.
@Alexchau2000 Ehh, I speak a mix from Teochew from VN and Teochew from Cambodia. (Dad's from VN, Mom's from Cambodia) At home we only speak Teochew.. And my dad can understand the song, so I'm feeling like a loser. I think that @jiahua448 right is. And I heard something about feeding porks and dogs. :D

@Alexchau2000 i speak a little bit of viet and it KIND OF sounds like it. It's just some words that they pronunciate sound slightly like vietnamese.

语言学家把闽潮归于同一个方言语系的。
潮闽地区于古时候来往、交流频繁，故有陈三五娘这罗曼蒂克的爱情故事产生。连潮汕戏曲苏六娘中的桃花过渡的戏段、情节也成了闽南主要/著名戏曲之一呢。
还有很多潮汕人士常有潮州亲福建祖的想法和说法呢。尤其是马来西亚砂拉越的潮安籍贯沈氏乡亲于某节日很多都到诏安籍贯的梅山公所（诏安沈氏宗亲会馆）一同祭祖呢。
