fighting death as richter in sotn

You know I was playing Symphony of the Night as Richter but I couldn't fight Death because he wasn't there. Why is that? And Dracula too.

I have beat the game as Alucard started a new game as Richter and beat the whole game with him as well. No cheats. So I don't understand why you're saying it cant be done without hacking it? I'm unable to get 200% with Richter though. I think that's impossible?

could you hack the variables to have alucard fight the prologue dracula? or to use the prologue richter in richter mode so you cant die?

that only works in saturn version. in psx one the game will instantly crash if you send alucard into the intro area.

for richter, nope. that's some special code for the area, and the variable during that battle is set to alucard's already anyway.

i don't even have the saturn version anymore.

i don't remember how, but i managed to find a value that sends the character to specific area after exiting one he's in and made it send al and maria to the intro area, but that was all years ago.

i don't have those codes anymore.

You can actually reach Death with Richter, but it's really hard... Get to Dracula's tower using the uppercut again and again consecutively... You can take advantage of this move...

easiest way to defeat bosses is with the holy water subweapon and use hydro storm. it's over powered and makes richters mode easy

nope. i tried, the game crashes if you get alucard to the area where you fight drac. it works on saturn for both al and maria though.

I think I must be blessed with a glitched copy of SOTN, because I fought and defeated Death without hacking anything. All I had to do was get to where he is. Maybe it has something to do with time, I can beat Richter mode in 6:54:??. If done fast enough, he seems to appear.....

Yeah Esco only adjusted Richter's controls. He didn't readjust Death yet at that time.

But check his remakes of the Mummy Man and the Creature videos. This is the kind of work he does, so Death will be probably a nightmare. :P

Gameshark, which resets everything and reactivates the certain bosses removed from Richter's game.

It doesn't work on the succubus though, for some reason she never gets down from the cross.

Except you can't fight death, another richter, dracula and succubus in richter mode. They're all removed for him.
