  • Dana White supports SOPA/PIPA type legislation. BOYCOTT UFC

  • Joe Rogan = JOKE, Eddie Bravo is a joke, Jason Chambers is laughable, all the UFC fighters that claim Eddie Bravo as their instructor=BIG JOKE. Eddie and Joe's involvement with MMA is a knee slapper.

Anybody that rolls at 10th Planet is a dork and an idiot.

In other words, all you 10th planet spammers are just pumping your own poles when you talk about Eddie as legit. Sorry for you that he fooled you into believing him. He's a joke among serious cross trained fighters.

  • it's actually plastic

  • JASON CHAMBERS! :O

  • Eddie Bravo invented the internet too.

  • jiu jitsu is so dumb. tkd is the way to go! stop humping each other.

  • @tkdrealselfdefense

I can conclude with absolute certainty you don't know shit about either Taekwondo or Jiu Jitsu.

  • @tkdrealselfdefense

If that was true, how come you see very few MMA fighters using TKD and almost every MMA fighter familiar with BJJ? The martial arts like TKD, Karate, Savate, etc that didn't have a ground component got humiliated in the first UFCs. I'd go so far as to say that a good high school wrestler could probably take any TKD master in a one on one fight most of the time.

  • @tkdrealselfdefense You're a disgrace to Tae Kwon Do.

  • @asasipogi

Oh no, you didn't just post that I has no core nor meaning did you? Of all the things you could have said that wouldn't pierce my heart like a poison arrow, you just happen to hit the bulls-eye of defamery with your random choice of insults.

A pox on you for that. Just leave me alone and stop hurting my sensitivities you ruffian.

  • @MrJamesbragan

I cant believe you guys, you hate and post craps that has no core nor meaning, u say bullshit and? u say shit on evry bravo video and yet you watch every bravo video you see? just get out, leave the 10th PJJ dont watch the vids if you want to keep hatin then keep it to yourself, the guy dont take any credits for himself, on his other interviews he give credits to his mates saying that he's not alone doing this thing. dont watch if you have so much prob and just STOP HATIN

  • So I have a question, might be a stupid one but how many moves are their in the rubber guard? :s

  • Bullshit!!!

When the 10th planet guys hit the restroom that's when the system shows itself.

  • becah he desrespect Brazilian juijitsu.you no desrespect gi.gi be good.Bravo I no like.

  • @johnediamond Stop Renato

  • little guy be overwelmed by bigger guys so he was creative and developed jiu jitsu more hmmm sounds like helio

  • i didnt know there was so much hate on a martial art.

  • Sotiropolous got his behind kicked, Prokopos got whupped, Mitrione walloped. Help me out here, anybody from 10thplanet ever maintained a winning record? Their competition record is a little suspicious. In both BJJ and MMA.

Now if Bravo would stop opening McDojos and stop making wild claims of "inventing" shit, and stick to teaching Hollywood gayboys how to cluster fuck in the shower rooms, people would stop hatin on 10thP.

  • @MrJamesbragan its not the system its the fighters are u kidding me?

  • @MrJamesbragan sotiropolous kills everyone on the ground, he got his behind kicked in the stand up, prokopos was killing his oponent on the ground and he got caught with a punch, when 10th planet guys hit the ground thats when the system shows itself, not in stand up

  • @MrJamesbragan matt mitrione isnt even a high lvl grappler you fool.

  • @MrJamesbragan I think 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu is still in major development. No fighter with a certain BJJ affiliation will be undefeated. I think 10th Planet needs many more black belts to instruct because they seem pretty short-handed right now. It's too soon to see just how legit 10th Planet can be. I'll give them a few more years. It seems VERY interesting to me, personally.

  • @seaFoodSifu

How are they gonna get black belts if they don't have gis or wear belts? Plus, you'd think if the claims this video made were true, you'd see 10th Planet guys winning no gi grappling tournaments like Abu Dhabi, but you don't. The guys who do well in the no gi tournaments are usually the same guys who do well in gi tournaments.

  • @underdg22 Just because they don't wear their belts doesn't mean they can't earn it. I'm from a traditional jiu-jitsu school and we have no gi classes and nobody wears their belts. Seriously man? It's not a big deal, but I'm surprised you even said that, makes me wonder how qualified you are. And again, there's only about 5 black belts, not including Eddie Bravo. Majority aren't athletic, so it's hard to say, Give it time. There are too many competitors to expect that from one new school.

  • @seaFoodSifu

You misunderstood my point about belts. If you NEVER wear bets, like at 10th Planet, what's the point of awarding belts? The only point of wearing a belt is to distinguish among the skill levels of the people wearing a gi. Without the gi, there is no point in awarding belts to distinguish people. Their record in competition (or sparring) is what sets them apart unless bravo starts awarding patches or something. It doesn't make sense to award belts to people that don't wear them.

  • @MrJamesbragan ill help you out here, sotiropolous got beat on his feet any other fight you watch with him that goes to the ground he dominates with this system and as for mitrione he has no base in bjj and hasnt been training very long at all.

  • who gives a fuck about trainers anywayz i just wanna see good fights n theres no decent fighters from 10th planet

  • @CoolCumber187 George Sotiropolous is pretty good!

  • @davis311c yeah if you wanna see two guys rolling around all fight...

  • If you want people to stop hatin, then stop lying. This video demonstrates the pathetic nature of 10th planet.

Eddie and Joe want to be the McDonalds of BJJ.

  • Propokos is the best bravo has, and denny got fucking schooled by little Chris H. lol.

10th planet is the place where nerds and kiss asses go. Just look at the guys that go to that system. Bravo is the Justin Beiber of BJJ.

  • Jason Chambers = queer, Joe Rogan = queer, Ebby Bravo = queer, George Sotirwhatablapos = queer, Denny Propokos =queer. Everybody on those mats are queers. 10thplanet is strictly for the anally penetrated.

  • @MrJamesbragan You have got to be a troll

  • easy to scape

  • @sclifo how do you escape?

  • Nino Schembri used the rubber guard way before Eddie Bravo. Eddie made it popular, but by no means did he invent it.

  • I do Jap Ju-Jutsu with a Gi.I've started researching Eddie Bravo and adapting the style I learn with Eddies style in my own time and all I can say is it works.I'm catching guys out a lot more because they don't expect whats coming.Being able to defend against a guy wearing a t-shirt or no shirt is also a big deal to me as I've never been in a street fight with someone wearing a Gi.The haters should try it.Once they discover it works for them, they'll love it.If not ,then they'll be tapped out.

  • whoa good to see jason chambers again. wonder what hes up to in 2011 now. and i can't remember the other dude from human weapon, but he was cool too.

  • @Kinuhbud he's sucking cock in 2011 just like he did in '10, 09, and all the way back to grade school. he's a cocksucker

  • No gi system is cool. But i don't fight often nor do i want to. But, for hawaiians, brasilians, aussies, and cali, Miami and coney island beach goers this is great.

  • i didnt see much rubber guard at the adcc......

  • @jimbo007777 well if you look closely before he caught royler in the triangle he set up the rubber gaurd and attempted a gogoplata

  • awesome.

  • Fine Jason Chambers...I here by declare Eddie Bravo the inventor of the Rubber Guard....are you happy now? can you stop whining?

  • I think Eddie is one the greatest American Jiu Jitsuka of his day.

  • damn eddie has a fat gut for somone of his reputation

  • i really like the 10th planet system and the moves Eddie bravo is gonna have a seminar and i will attend but the flexibility is kinda getting to you in a way were your just gonna say that's enough

  • @thatkidwiththedice

Good case point with Aoki, however you could make that argument with anything "Tai Chi would work great in MMA if people would just put in the time" people like Dan Hardy, Chuck Liddell have put forth the time and get beat by old-school gi jitz guys. Sean Bollinger is supposed to be Yoda at RG and was unable to use it effectively against Ryan Couture. Furthermore, Dream is not the high echelons of MMA, my theory is that he would be unsuccessful in against Strikeforce/UFC cal

  • You know anything Joe Rogan says has some truth to it. He beats both sides, not just one.

  • Just world champions talking, kkkkkkkkk

first learn jiu jitsu americans, after that you can talk something.

  • Comment removed

  • Remember how you trained as a white belt, clenching up as hard as you can against your opponents? To get better and progress you had to learn to open up and flow, move your hips and let your opponent do all the work? 10P is like an entire jitz game based on that white-belt philosophy; "constant pressure from unorthodox positions"

  • @mok0s1 some people have limited success with the rubber guard at the low levels of combat sports and especially in the gym, it is not used by top competition because it is harmful to the knees, compromises the strength of the legs, opens your guard, totally inhibits hip movement and has a overall low percentage of success.

  • @lsloewen2 Yeah, all of that is true... if you SUCK at rubber guard. The real reason why it's not commonly used in top level competitions is because they haven't learned how it actually works and put the numbers in developing it. It's to be expected. How are you going to make rubber guard work in a fight if you're not killing people with it in the gym. Look at Shinya Aoki. He's made the rubber guard work especially well for him because he spent an ungodly amount of time training it.

  • @truthseeker9261

BJJ revolutionized the entire world of martial arts in one night! After UFC 1 things were changed instantly, the tough part was getting it to a venue for the world to see. 10P has had the same chance if not more of one. Look at the short spans of time were MMA itself was introduced to new things; Ground and Pound, Sprawl and Brawl, Machida's karate, if things are effective; the majority of fighters adopt it quick. Just because something is MARKETED as the next big new thing doe

  • It's funny how many 10th planet "disciples" get off at being SO OPEN MINDED. People forget that even Bruce Lee thought it was important to DISCARD what doesn't work. It's been what, 8 years since 10P was created? Shouldn't it have revolutionized things by now? It hasn't because it is fundamentally BAD JIU JITSU

  • @lsloewen2 You say that like there should be definite timetable between inception

and revolution. how many decades has BJJ been in this hemisphere before BJJ itself

became a ''Revolution'' in the 'Johnny Come Lately' USA?

  • @lsloewen2 bad jiu jitsu... I train in gracie humaitá and one day I decided to prove what was going on with this rubber guard and man, I can assure you that I triangled and omoplated every students in the class

  • Jesus, Sotiropolous looks SO much better with a little hair on his head. That buzzcut he has now doesn't suit him at all....

  • Jason Chambers is an idiot. He has no significant accomplishments in MMA, He is not "really good friends" with "Renzo and a bunch of the Gracies" they probobly don't even know his name, the guy is a complete poser. How can someone with so little experience in high-level jiu-jitsu and MMA make a judgement on the future of both?

  • Comment removed

  • either way if u get caight is THAT SHIT HURTS

  • Im not trying to be a dick but didnt Nino Schembri create the rubber guard?

  • @NikeSbSbSbSb Of course. 10th Planet JJ its just marketing. Eddie "the marijuana gracie" Bravo, lol.

  • @NikeSbSbSbSb did you even watch the video? He made the 10th planet SYSTEM... not the position. He made the rubber guard more effective and do-able with no Gi... watch the last thing Rogan says at the very end of the video plz.

  • HGH (Haters Gonna Hate)

  • "STOP HATIN!"

  • if it works, who cares?

  • Let's see here. What criteria would you use to judge how one school is better than the other?

    Most probably its:

    1.achievements in competitions.

    2. How long it's been around.

How does 10th planet fare against other school of the same size and age?

  • @crankatorium Not good.

  • joe rogan is a boss

  • @Barrett I admit I am very biased toward the Gracies and was very surprised to hear the news that Royler may be backing out. Seeing Bravo had not competed for so long I figured he would be the one to not compete. I am shocked and disappointed that this rematch may not happen. After the first match the Rolyer fans, myself included, kept saying that Bravo caught him and if they fought again Royler would dominate. I saw this as a way to settle that argument. Hopefully Royler will agree to fig

  • @elmustacho I love the Gracie's, i mean truly, they are gods in my eyes ahaha xD but Bravo is an amazing man and I just see him as like a creation of the gods that are the Gracies, and like us humans, as their creation he took what he was given and created his own methods(like us creating tools of war and nukes and everything) ahaha xP Gracies forever! Bravo forever! 10th Pkanet forever! Jiu Jitsu for all of eternity!!!! hahaha xD

  • Eddie, i would kill, KILL, to be in one of your 10 planet jj gyms.

  • I think the rematch between bravo and royler at this years Abu dhabi will be very interesting if Eddie doesn't "get hurt"

  • @elmustacho Unfortunately their rematch isn't happening, at least not at the moment. Apparently a week after Gracie accepted the match, he told the promoters that he wants $50,000 just to appear, in addition to the $25,000 he would get if he won the match. The promoters said no to his request.

So now Bravo is trying to raise the money himself through donations. Leo Vieira says that if the rematch doesn’t happen, he’s would step in for Gracie and “smash” Bravo again.

  • Nino Schembri the real "inventor" of the high guard.

  • @MangaMoogleMan

said "I think the ideal of Eddie's system scares a lot of Gracie affiliates because they don't want the art they helped popularized to forget and leave them behind. This is insane of course. No one ever deny what the Gracies have done for Jiu-Jitsu and MMA."

True. Just like jiujitsu (may have been influenced by Chinese chin na) influence the develope of judo. And then judo (leaving Kosen judo aside) influence the devlopement of BJJ. And BJJ has influence American newaza.

  • Next evolution my ass, and no one hates the 10th planet system. We hate morons like Jason Chambers saying its revolutionary and putting down BJJ, or Implying that the legends that practice now are simply practicing Old, stagnant, antiquated techniques. According to the 10th planet guys anyways.

  • I like to look at the martial arts as tools. A jab is a tool, rounhouse is a tool a single leg take down is a tool. Like any tool they all have their time and place. If a tool gets the job done and it does it well then why would you not use it?

  • Eddie wearing gi pants?!?!?! BURN THAT DIRTY GI WEARER!!!!!

  • I do beleive that Eddie Bravo's system is better than traditional Jiu Jitsu.

    Rubber Guard is the shit.

  • Brazilain Jiujitsu?

    Its now American Jiujitsu!

American practitioners have gone way beyond the Gracies.

Americans dont give themselves enough credit. They have created hundreds of techniques by themselves.

Americans please give yourself more credit!

  • @1NX9 Yeah, Because Americans always outshine Brazilians at the Mundials don't they?

    Dream on!

  • @delgriffithification

Nope. Its just because CERTAIN American practitioners are innotative enough to develope their own newaza techniques outside the old Gracie curriculum.

  • @1NX9 And then they shit on the Mundial winners, the BJ Pens who are GI players and are legends in MMA, and say "YOUR STYLE IS AN ANACHRONISM, ITS OLD, THIS IS NEW AND BETTER".

They shit on the Braulio Estimas, the Marcello Garcias, the Cobrinas. They need to give it up right? Flock to eddie and learn his techniques?

  • @HavahdYahdHahrry

Whatever is new and evolved is good.

  • @1NX9 Can any black belt beat the names I mentioned above? What Happened to Denny Prokopos btw? Haven't heard of him in a while man.

How is training with a gi new? How is 10th BJJ evolved? You are an immensely foolish person, most likely a white belt as well.

  • @HavahdYahdHahrry

You dont know a thing about me. stupid!

I NEVER said training in a gi is new. Where do I say that? Dont put words in my mouth. ass hole.

What they are doing is training WITHOUT gi.

How is 10th BJJ evolve you ask? eg many rubber guard tech. eg greater emphasis on no gi tech etc.

First of all whether someone is a good technical fighter is one thing. Its another thing if they have actually created new techniques in ground fighting.

  • @1NX9 It was a typo, I meant to say No gi, how is training No Gi New?

Anyways you say No gi is evolutionary, and gi is in the past? We can measure it by the progress 10th planet BJJ has been making. Not much....

  • @HavahdYahdHahrry

The key word is is "emphasis".

Both gi and no gi has its place.

  • @HavahdYahdHahrry

Further more I NEVER said I support the shiting down on others like Braulio, Marcello etc.

  • Comment removed

  • 18 guys rely too much on the Gi

  • oh man you should feel the haters in New Zealand heaps of stand up guys that think its gay men hugging on the ground, haha training with a guy that trains under eddie its a good system but i find i fuken difficult

  • Jason Chambers is very eloquent.

    Joe Rogan is an idiot.

  • @guysovereign LOL i would try to gain some facts before saying joe rogan is an idiot... he is actually a very intelligent individual, he's just very brash and in ur face when he talks about things that he truly believes in plain and simple

  • @Moro371

    Are you his boyfriend?

  • @guysovereign lol do i have to be to have an opinion on the subject??? watch some videos of joe he talks about a lot of deep stuff that i'm unsure you would be open enough to understand

  • 10th Planet JJ is superior

  • @TweaksterXXX yea man its so alien so Simple and effective all your need is a little strength and flexibility

  • @TweaksterXXX You're right. They're winning all JJ tournaments. No gi, gi, IBJJF, Worlds, Pans, ADCC, come on, please.

  • @TweaksterXXX superior "IN" mma when it comes to street fighting the techniques learned from bjj/Gi jiu jitsu become much more applicable and effective

  • @TweaksterXXX to what? than two cows fighting? i fully agree.

  • @TweaksterXXX to say one martial art is superior is not the attitude of a martial artist.

  • @liamag92 but the first UFC's proved BJJ's superiority and dominance :/ but i would love to see Bravo or a Gracie master against an Israeli Krav Maga master ahahaha xD

  • @liamag92 True, but Eddie Bravo IS superior!

It boils down to the artist rather than his art.

  • @liamag92 Wing Chun Kung Fu via Dr. Scott Mullen would beg to differ...I use to think along these Martial Arts Etiquette's..WING CHUN KUNG FU DR. SCOTT MULLEN has the BEST MARTIAL ARTS AVAILABLE... CALL AND CHAT WITH HIM.. No disrespect intended. Good day.

  • @Vvrroommm there is no way any form of kung fu is the most superior martial art... if you slipped or fell or got taken down your system is useless..

  • @shocxxxx Hello and good day. Regarding getting taken down, you would be correct for many stand up martial arts or kung fu system. However, Wing Chun expresses itself in any position: standing, grappling, and possibly any other way you or I could think of. Wing Chun is very scientific in its approach, specifically Dr. SCOTT MULLEN WING CHUN KUNG FU. CALL AND CHAT WITH HIM and even touch hands with him. Again no disrespect intended.

  • @Vvrroommm but if it was on the ground or grappling that would then not be considered kung fu...

  • @Vvrroommm well i suppose there is SOME kinds of grappling but no ground game is associated with kung fu

  • @shocxxxx actually Arhat Boxing is thought to be one of the earliest forms of Kung Fu. There are statues of Arhat Boxing techniques and forms. Some include ground techniques.

  • @Benns1991 yeah but im talking about the actual martial art of kung fu, there are some derivatives of kung fu that have a ground game but im not talking about them

  • @liamag92 you dont kno shit really,,,every martial artist feels there art is superior that is exactly what martial arts is about

  • @davejones8 bruces lee's ENTIRE philosophy was that it was about grabbing the necessities of each martial art to create a new art. He didnt believe in style but he believed in the individual fighter. You cant say oh that kyokoshin karate guy cant beat that boxer.. cause the styles dont fight... the people who use the styles do. if you honestly think that every martial artist feels their art is superior then do you honestly believe you can speak for 6 billion ppl?

  • @liamag92 guess u never saw UFC 1

  • @liamag92 Martial artists have been saying that for hundreds of years.

  • @TweaksterXXX Let's see here. What criteria would you use to judge how one school is better than the other?

    Most probably its:

    1.achievements in competitions.

    2. How long it's been around.

How does 10th planet fare against other school of the same size and age?

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video... 10th planet jj is bjj, theres no such thing as traditional bjj... it constantly evolves.

  • joe rogan's HUGE

  • dude how do u escape from the Twister?

  • @kintakunto

    You tap

  • @kintakunto you activate fire alarm that's the only way

  • lmfao "STOP HATIN" says mr. rogan

  • People need to leg go of their egos. Seriously. I remember seeing/reading/hearing that a couple of other older school dudes used to use the rubber guard (or something like it) but Eddie did come up with a lot of shit that flows out of the rubber guard. He's also pushed it into the main stream. It doesn't matter if you think it sucks or not, the fact is it works. If something's good, use it. Who cares who invented it or whatever.

  • We'll see more rubber guard in MMA in ten years. We see a lot of people in UFC use rubber guard, almost no one uses it right. Eddie has a comprehensive list of "what-to-do-ifs" in Mastering the Rubber Guard that work, but few people have fully learned and committed to these solutions.

  • @TheIncredibleMicah

I'd say next couple of years.

  • MMA shouldn't be called that anymore since it's not mixed martial arts it's just jujitsu.

  • 18 guys are not flexible... Lol.

  • finaly a freakin wristlock yaaaaay

  • Rogan Rocks

  • Bruce lee once said that styles have nothing to do with race use wat ever is good for u dont see y ppl hateing on h for it

  • @MangaMoogleMan I meant pull out a submission not just use the guard for control like you see all the time on UFC, strikeforce!

  • Nobody give him credit for one simple reason it does not work It might work for him but I am tired of seen fighters trying it and never pull it out!

  • has Eddie or any of his students used the rubber guard to win the ADCC, Mundials, Pan-Ams, Brasilieros, or the Abu Dhabi Pro?

  • @aikidoisthebombyeah

2003 ADCC...Eddie defeats Royler Gracie. Good enough?

  • @frege666 Eddie defeating Royler was for sure a great and monumental task... props to Eddie for sure! But the problem is that he has never fought in a match since... And considering that he has never won the ADCC, where as Royler has won ADCC 3x... i would say that Royler Gracie has a much better overall record that is verifiable and certainly more consistent... I mean talk about laying it all on the line... you'd think you'd stop after winning the mundials or adcc just 1x or 2x... but 3x...

  • @frege666 Royler has won so many competitions and so many titles... multiple world champion, multiple adcc champion, pan am champ, i mean his wall is filled with trophies man... and I hear that he has several students who are also multiple world champions mundials and ADCC, without Gi...

  • @aikidoisthebombyeah

    Sakuraba

    /thread

  • @frege666 ... so I guess the answer to that question is... "No, Eddie nor his students have ever used the rubber guard to win the ADCC, Mundials, Pan-Ams, Brasileiros, or the Abu Dhabi Pro..."

  • would love to train with eddie.

  • Jiu jitsu is still evolving. Eddie, Einstein and Alder at 10th Planet are pioneers. Marcelo Garcia, Bill Cooper and Jeff Glover are also changing the game. Haters keep hating.

  • lol jason chambers

    "bullshit"

  • GJJ is still better for purely self defence than BJJ or 10th planet.

  • Holy crap, Joe Rogan is jacked.

  • @tbreton87 hes ona diet of marijuana, dmt, and creatine all day baby!

  • That's fact. It's his sytem, stop hatin'!

  • Its a disservice to any school to not cover this technique ,regardless if you want to recognize it as another system of its own , like learning a new sweep or submission

  • george sotiropoulos executed the rubber guard at ufc 116

  • BJJ and their gi's are good for sport. 10th planet however is for self defense and cage fighting.

HOWever! 10thplanet was not the first system to do no gi submissions. That was Catch Wrestling.

  • I didn't even know 10th Planet was hated that much. To be honest, I don't see how you could hate the rubber guard in general. Maybe if you are a big unflexible guy you can hate it personally... but in general you must see it's awesome.

  • No hating here.... I'm an englishman using rubber guard over here in New Zealand. First saw it in a couple of fights and found out about some decent submission from it from submissions 101 and I love it. Credit to him amazing.

  • Give credit where credit is due. Eddie Bravo played a huge roll in changing Jiu jitsu for the purpose of 21 century Mixed martial arts.

  • first off the gracies did not revolutionize jiu jitsu, they were taught everything that is known now and they say helio developed a system where a much smaller guy can take a bigger guy HELIO GRACIE DID NOT MODIFY ANYTHING! i dare anyone to show me a technique helio so called invented and isnt already in kodokan judo

  • My view on all this is if anyone devises a system where it is applicable to every day life or modern day MMA, i give them my props. That is what makes the sport evolve. The Gracies took something from the Japanese and made it better and they give the Japanese credit for having started it. Now Eddie is taking the next step in the evolution of Jiu Jitsu. By you giving him credit, it doesn't in anyway diminish the work or impact of the Gracies and that is what many are afraid of.

  • @kanguesso Do you give credit to big gay communist dicks with cock tattoos on their chest?

  • @Nigganechi Huh?

  • if joe rogan says it you better fucking agree

  • ill take joe rogan anytime tkd muay thai or bjj what a bitch

  • stop hatin` playa

  • Anyone who honestly believes that 10th Planet JJ and the Rubber Guard don't work in MMA needs to watch some of George Sotiropoulos's fights. He used it to effectively lockdown Joe Stevenson, and that guy is a skilled wrestler. Stop all the hatin on Eddie.

  • @999berlo Or bj penn, Bj uses the rubber guard almost all the time hes on his back.

  • @999berlo Not only did he sweep Stevenson with the RG, he nullified Kurt Pellegrino with it, and he used the exact Swim Move-Spiderweb-Armbar that Eddie teaches to win his fight against Jason Dent.

But hey, before the Makdessi fight at 124, noone thought Tae Kwon Doe could be that effective in MMA. All it'll take is 1 gogoplata in the UFC and all the haters will be jumping on the 10th planet bandwagon.

  • The good thing about jujitsu... is that it one of the best martial arts to be creative.

  • 16 gracies must have watched this

  • @jigsawkid95 why would the gracies dislike the rubber guard? just because eddi beat royler in the past? o_O

  • @waldomarek a lot of them dont like eddie for taking the gi off!

  • @waldomarek Eddie said that the gi is useless for MMA training, and any idiot can see that it's a true statement, the gracies strongly disagree with this point, which makes me seriously question their understanding of the sport

  • I agree that regular BJJ has way too many loopholes in the defense system, especially the full guard - doesn't win points in MMA rules and does very little defense against gound-n-pound.

10th Planet Jiu Jitsu deserves a better name. Seriously, if it's from America at least use vocabs from the English dictionary.
