What do we think we will learn from doing this drug?Just look at the people that have it as a way of life.Would one really trade places with them?We are wise in our own mind.We say there are not really any gods or demons, but perhaps there is some part of our own mind we can access with this poisonous mixture. We are wrong though. There is a God.There are also demons. One cannot reach God through drug use.Demons though, can be accessed by that method.
@lifeseeker51 Why wouldn't we be able to reach 'god' through drug use? Nearly everyone who experiences a DMT trip finds themselves communicating with other beings. Who are you to say they haven't communicated with 'god'?
@nw82 Sorcery is strictly forbidden by God.An ayahuasca ceremony is a perfect example of that. The reason it's forbidden is that one can become possessed by a demonic spirit. This can happen through drinking or just regular drug use too. Here though,we have people taking a stron hallucinogen with the intention of communing with the (spirits).I.E. possession is embraced by dmt users. It can effect ones whole household. Not in a good way.
@markylaw My heart is open. That's why I'm talking to you. There is nothing in the Gospel that does not require an open heart. An open mind on the other hand is not necesarily a good thing. This life is a test. There is much that one should avoid.Sorcery is definately on that list.Third eye.Well, that term is used in conjuntion with new age spirituality and witchcraft/sorcery.I will not partake. It's the rules.
@Lalaldd The value of dope is clearly evident. On the corners around town men and women, holding cardboard signs.Begging for money.Virtually all have succomed to drink and drugs. They live outside society and literally outside as well. They didn't have that in mind when they started.I know 7 people personally that have died for this cause.Four by their own hand.Nothing of value in drugs. No truths come of them.
@lifeseeker51 What like nobody who's a square has ever commited suicide. Wake up this man-made world is a boring place, and nature has provided us with some pretty stimulating things. There's more to life than paying taxes, chasing women, and working.
@grand778 Suicide kills two people, said Arthur Miller to MM.She retorted, that's what it's for.People commit suicide out of despair and also as a way of getting even.I've done all the stimulating things. These are just empty thrills. You want excitement?Come to Jesus and see the world as it actually is.
@grand778 Work is required. It is one's responsibility to provide for his or herself.I've put in 33 yrs. as a pipefitter. It was a blessing to have a good paying job.Now I'm retired from that. During my life I sampled many earthly delights. Even so,I never thought that my welfare was someone elses responsibility.
@lifeseeker51 I never meant to imply that religion isn't important only that there's other experiences worth indulging. All those substances only seemed empty becuase you were. If religion filled the void than give'er. But don't become a hater for the substances that did nothing for you, they help a lot of people get through this boring place!
@grand778 This place will soon be far from boring. You can count on that. There's no drug assisted way through. Most will not have any idea what's going on. Don't be one of them.
@lifeseeker51 If you're reffering to the apocalypse, then this little debate is over. I thought I was challenging a religiously mislead conciousness. Now I realise that your probably just a Christian nut. People and societies have been predicting the end of the world or this way of life since man evolved from lower hominids. Just so no other arguments are caused, evolution does exist. Want proof? FOSSILS, FOSSILS, @%#^#%^ FOSSILS!
@grand778 Isreal. Think about it. Tiny nation created in one day in 1948,is now the center of the vortex of trouble in the world. What are the odds? Two sons of a shepherd argue over an inheritance. Thousands of years later, they're still at it and they're dragging the world in with them.It is the will of God.God does this to show an unbelieving world He is in control,so that some might be saved.Real time, real world prophesy fulfillment.
@lifeseeker51 Do you make it your "mission" to visit all of these types of videos and preach the same drivel? A "holy spirit hitman" so-to-speak? What you don't understand is that those that seek out this sort of experience are not swayed or made to fear religious jargon and narrow-minded ideals. You're not a profit. You don't even embrace the mystical side of your own religion and its origins in paganism. A plank in your own eye, shall we say?
@Lunartrek You know all one has to do to end the conversation with me is,don't answer. It's interesting don't you think. The amount of effort people go to to silence a Christian witness.Profanity laced diatribes.Insults on every imaginable level.Even threats. It's almost as if the responders know what I'm saying is true, but they hate it.Still they can't leave it alone. It appears you have at some point been a Christian. Were you?If so,what happened there?
@lifeseeker51 People continue to respond for the same reason that you do: They believe in their perspective. The only thing I have insulted, well, challenged, really, is your lack of a solid argument. It's always the same story with the regimented, though; tired spiritual sales pitches laced with fear.
Yeah, I was once just a Christian in the normal sense, not as in Christ-like, but then I opened my mind and realized it was just another limit put on God by man. You keep it. I don't need it.
@Lunartrek I was speaking about the general responce. You have to your credit been very polite and reasonable. The idea that a solid arguement can be found in an ayauasca ceremony is also invalid.I'm an old doper.Been there, done that.No wisdom to be gained in that direction.I have real life experience with a variety of hallucinogens. It is at best, temporary self wrot insanity, which can become permanent.Satans first temptation was to say God is limiting us.Think about it.
So what did they heat the ayahuasca in before they had metal pots?
