I grew up with bikers and truckers and I've been in the seat of both so I know the dangers and joys. I don't know where this place is but if it's anything like some of the mountain roads in the carolinas the truckers have no choice but to take as a shorter route just like the bikes and cars. I must admit the 1 in this video knew he was traveling to fast or else he'd not have blown his horn to warn oncoming drivers. He should be more respectful and slower traveling for the safety of ALL drivers.
18-wheelers were on that road long before motorcycle riders ever thought about it. if you motorcycle riders cant stay in your lane on that road then you shouldnt complain about the 18-wheelers not stayin in theirs
wow.. typical haters.. Ban all motorcycles and cars from roads that an 18 wheeler may need to drive on to deliver your MOTORCYCLE! your GROCERIES! your GAS! your CLOTHING!! You moron... Next time you hate on truckers for the roads they have to drive on, just remember how you got every single solitary damn thing you own. It was guaran-god-damn-teed on a truck along the line, usually more than once.
i do both. and yes life means alot. but bikes dont stay in there lane. ive watch about 5 vids of ppl riding bikes and being all over the road. if they get it its there fault
humm well maybe if the dumb fucks in the fast cars and on the street bikes would actually be smart and slow the fuck down!!!!!! we wouldnt have this problem now would we!?
i agree with lauriejennifer.truckers and trucks have just as much right to the road as anyone else does.but the safer alternative takes longer and makes him late delivering his load and they only have a certain amount of time to deliver it or it could cost them their job.would ya want that to happen?would ya want him to not be able to support his family?
But the motorcycle in the opening of this clip crosses the yellow line twice? So by your arguement, motorcycles should not be allowed on this road for the same reason?
"Thousands of motorcyclists & sports car owners flock here each summer to conquer the dragon"...that's the problem, it's not a race track or closed obstacle course, it's a damn state highway....
@savagenomore couldnt have said it better myself. when it comes down to it the truck probably has more right to be there. they are just trying to do a job rather than someone who thinks they are going to be the next schumacher or lorenzo.
@baldymp3 But what if it was a minivan full of a family on vacation? It takes the trucks just as long to drive through this "shortcut" as it does for them to drive around-- on roads where they won't be a danger to everyone else.
I have lost two friends in the last two years, thanks to trucks on this road. Neither was a "speed demon" or a reckless rider. Both were seasoned and level headed. Both left children behind.
@lauriejennifer mate im sympathetic for your friends family and so on but there are a few things to take into account here.
firstly as they are not banned from using the road a truck has every right to use it.
and secondly i find it hard to believe that any truck driver in their right mind would use this road if there is a safer alternative that takes the same amount of time.
personally i agree that they should not be allowed access to the road.
@baldymp3 I know a truck that is his right mind would do it but then I also have to remember that I am talking about the same guy who would drift a milk truck
well one of my club members was hit the same way an the ass hole kept going of course my brother was killed if we ever find you,,, you know who you are
18 wheelers bring you the products u need. if you get rid of them then its going to be very expensive for you and companys to get your products. besides, they have to move like that to cut their trailers. you ever swing a 53ft trailer on a road like that? let me know when u can do it perfectly or at all.
why would a responsible cough cough (trucker) go down that road anyway ,its not a matter of taxes or what have you ,living in the midwest i've drive just about everything around here to make a living, shag trucks ,over the road to currently combines , but that doesnt mean i should take a 7720 turbo with the header on it down that road thats utter stupidity .and if you pull a 53footer down that road your a moron plain and simple ,ban the bikes ,yeah becuase hittig mom in a van is so much morefun
@label1877 Let's ban the bikes? Now that's a rather profound statement, how do new motorcycles and cycle supplies get to the stores for us riders to purchase? On trucks? Banning motorcycles would be taking bread off of some poor truckers plate! Also, motorcycles are NOT STRICTLY recreational, I ride one to work EVERY DAY! It is my primary mode of transportation. AND, I have NEVER seen a traffic jam where a bunch of motorcycles were "clogging" up the road.
@TheBubbahog You should watch videos from Thailand, China, Phillipines, etc....You'll see plenty of traffic jams, and its nothing but motorcycles and scooters.
@drumbasher Well I don't live in Thailand, China or the Phillipines and since most folks there ride motorcycles and scooters you would expect to see them in traffic jams. It's not cars, trucks, or motorcycles that cause the traffic jams, it's the folks who don't know how to drive that cause traffic jams.
@drumbasher I do agree that we disagree on certain things....... but, we can agree with our disagreement, what ever that means!!!............... I agree!!!
i can't believe trucks even drive on this road, available to them or not. If the rest of the turns are anything like what is showed in this video, then that is just ridiculous to even consider this route in an oversized vehicle.
@Rayquaza2417 I'll make you a deal, if we (truckers) can ban all cars and bikes from the interstates, we will stay off of the curvy roads. Is it a deal?
@drumbasher funny thought i paid a toll also, why is this even relevant . the whole trucking industry has restrictions for saftey. you cant cross a 5ton bridge in a 80,000lbs truck by law can you why becuase its not designed to handel the lbs.if you could keep a rig with a 53footer in your lane on this road i would see no problem, but its not possible so logic takes overwait you probably drive under a 10foot bridge becuase you paid taxes to drive your 12foot truck under it right .whats a lifeworth
@Hemi4127 Yes, the trucking industry is overloaded with restrictions, and how many are on motorcycles? Not enough, thats why they can do wheelies on the interstate going 100 mph, cut in and out of traffic as they please, ride down the shoulder of the road in a traffic jam, etc.... So why don't you ask motorcycle riders what a life is worth, they endanger more people ever day than truckers.
@drumbasher funny every action you just listed about iresponsible riders is illegal is it not ?the only one i would question is lane splitting becuase its legal in california, only exception.there are signs on many highways asking to report aggressive driving.the laws regarding this dont change becuase your on a motorcycle. And im not asking them to change they must remain inplace. I try to influece smart decisions no matter who i'm around so thanks for the suggestion but that questionwas asked
@drumbasher and as far as motorcycles endangering more people than trucks everyday ,i would like to see some facts on this regarding number of trucks on the rode vs bikes to see if its even possible. I'm not saying a bike cant hurt or kill someone in a car becuase thats a foolish belief that seems to be gaining mometum.800lbs at 150mph has enough energy to kill no dought. But to use these facts as a diversion away from the problem of trucks being to long to travel this road ischildish.minivan
@Hemi4127 If you look on the map at US 129, lets say you have a load of medical supplies, food or whatever. You need to get that load to Tapoco, N.C., as you can see, there isn't any other way, than through the Dragons Tail. So if we ban big trucks from using US 129, how do you suggest we get that town their supplies? Trust me, I've been on some back roads in KY and W.V. and I wondered why the hell I was on a road like that. But people need goods, and trucks is how we get it to them.
@drumbasher sounds to me like a shorter truck is needed.maybe a straight truck . i know that talk probably doesnt suit well with truckers becuase its money in another guys pocket ,but you wouldnt send a oversize load without pilot cars down a two lane country road.theres no differece here there just to big. If local deliveries were escorted by pilot cars and could safely travel the road ,then fine but after reaserch there a lot of damage done to the road surface there becuase trucks are to long
@Hemi4127 You'll need to speak with trucking companies about outsourcing their freight. Like I said, if it were up to me, I'd stay on the interstates. I hate those country back roads, some drivers say they save time on them, but I find it hard to believe. A straight truck would be the answer in that situation, but not all trucking companies have local companies they can turn to just to deliver one load of freight. Its best just to deal with the trucks and hope no one gets hurt.
@drumbasher all trucking companies wouldnt be in a situation to profit from the change but thats not a disaster. the disaster is the call to the family when 'hopeing' doesnt work i think for the better of society if it bends in the middle and is over, probably 30ft long it shouldnt be on the dragon ,its just common sense its not about rights, taxes, inequalities,or dumbass riders.its about everybody going home at the end of the day,and another trucker not having to watch someonedieundertheir truck
@drumbasher I'm going to go so far as to say that 18-wheelers shouldn't be allowed anywhere but the Interstate PERIOD, until the last 2-10 miles or whatever when they have to get off the freeway to drive into the parking lot of the place they're making their delivery. Otherwise stay OFF the country roads period. I bike-ride and drive on such back roads fully expecting to NEVER EVER have to tolerate the nuisance of 18-wheelers.
@drumbasher car haulers drag the low hanging ramps ,and landing gear has been drug due to the way the corers are banked and the short distances inbetween the corners.
@drumbasher Frankly, I wish they would ban 18-wheelers from all of the roads period. Besides being unsafe they're extremely annoying, always getting in the way slowing you down. I just want them gone. Find some other way for towns to get their supplies. Maybe create special roads only for the 18-wheelers to do their deal, sort of like trains.
@drumbasher If I had a motorcycle, I'd ride the shoulder to get out of traffic jams too. People don't object to it because of it being illegal, they're jealous of the advantage. I know this because I "shoulder cut" on my bicycle, which is 100% legal, and people get upset even though it's LEGAL for me to do this. My reply: tough. If you want the advantage, bicycle yourself also, otherwise, you have no right to complain.
@rickgarciaflorida This is a bad example, this driver is a moron. But there are parts of some roads that we actually have to get in the other lanes to keep the trailer from going in a ditch, off of a cliff, etc...If you truly want us to stay on our side, please feel free to invent a steerable axle trailer, and one thats cheap enough that all companies will want to buy it. Thats your mission for 2012.
@Prodriver33 If you ever noticed, our trucks don't fit in a lot of places, but we have to go since the general public demands their products. I'm sorry if this interupts your day, but without trucks you wouldn't have all the stuff you have. Food, clothing, cars, gas, etc....
@Prodriver33 Just a few points, we use diesel fuel not gasoline. The company and dispatchers usually make out the routes, not the drivers. I think its a dumb idea, but they pay the bills. And, in the case of Hwy 129, there is no "long way", look at a map and tell me a better way to deliver goods to that area.
@TheEric4315 still missing the point guess I have to spell it out for you stupid truckers HUMAN LIVES > FUEL COST. JUST BECAUSE YOU DONT PERSONALLY KNOW THEM DOESNT MEAN THEY DONT MATTER!
@drumbasher you talk as if the interstate is "your territory" i've seen COUNTLESS truckers change lanes onto a car or motorcycle forcing the automobile off onto the shoulder of the interstate almost killing them, i almost witnessed my own father get ran over by a trucker because the trucker decided to move to the left lane for no fucking reason on top of my dad, so we should ban the truckers from the gap, and on the interstate you truck drivers should have to stay in the far right 2 lanes
@ChrisWade0690 Ahh yes, another "a trucker did this" story. If I told you all the times I had cars and bikes almost hit me, we would be here all night and day, so does that mean all cars and bikes should be banned to the right 2 lanes as well? Think about what you're saying, there are bad apples in every tree, no one is perfect! The interstate isn't our territory, but the back roads and "the gap" aren't yours either. We have to get the freight from point A to point B somehow.
@blinger44....Its not Illegal for a truck to cross over into other lanes of travel........ A tractor trailer is allowed to use any lanes necessary to get the trailer around the corner cleanly. thats the law in Canada anyway
@cliffs12345 its you're and mountains are a great place to ride. the double yellow line is there for a reason. If trucks cannot stay on their side of the road, especially around blind corners, they should not be allowed to operate on the road.
Atleast the truck is nice enough to HONK. Try driving in alberta canada, Where the roads in the mountains truckers drive through and its worse than this. Yet no one complains. Ive been the passenger in a truck and been in a accident with more than 2 bikers, However not our fault. Even the police here say that if you are stupid enough to ride a motorcycle in the mountains, your dumb enough to get killed.
lets be fair, while it is a dangerous stretch of road, this video clearly shows the motorcycle riding the center line, inviting disaster. Fact: it's a dangerous road. if danger is too much for you, stay off of it. this clearly is the price you pay to ride a world famous stretch of road.
More like motorcycles shouldn't be allowed to drive the dragon. You guys are so annoying and dangerous. My family is from Fontana,NC and I know what its like without all the motorcycle traffic. Yea trucks cross the yellow line but they have always done that. Its not gonna change. Those trucks have to go that way; it is the only way in from Tenn. HOW ABOUT YOU GO THE SPEED LIMIT .
@1212boochie "They've always done that?" That doesn't make it right. A motorcyclists has every right to use that road, & unlike the 18 wheeler, he's not endangering someone just being there. If its' the only way in from TN, they need to make another way--and make the 18 wheelers stay off meanwhile if they can't stay on their side of the road.
@larrytxeast Well the motorcyclist ARE a danger to others. Have you ever been on the road. If so you would know how they drive dangerously and endanger others by there speed. So you are saying that its ok for the cycles to be dangous, just not the 18 wheelers that are providing goods and supplys to the area. That is why the speed limit is 25mph so you can stop if you see a big-rig. When the motorcycles go like 80 or 90mph they have no chance. So speeders beware.......
In that situation a car would even have to go off road (cliff/wall) to miss that truck... If each is going 20-25+mph they are closing on each other at a speed of 40-50+mph...
@altmandma The closing speed has nothing to do with it. Typical troll .....you just had to put your smarty pants remark in there. Besides the big rig most likely saw that no one was in the other lane. How is my comment stupid? Have you ever heard of brakes? Its that pedel on the left. Cars and trucks have those now days.
Hey, just imagine TWO semis comming from opposite directions. Just think of the BEST part, TWO idiots for the price of one! I would give up riding for a whole day just to see it.
@Biggerbadwolf So you're saying that you want people to get hurt? I don't think you need to be driving anything, you're a dangerous person to think such thoughts. Probably the kind of person that tries to create accidents.
@drumbasher OK this comment was not entered by me, I have a few suspicions as to who did. Net result is I have disabled autologin. Truckers deserve a lot of respect, I've driven Scanias for about a year, you have so much more to worry about with a rig. Can I take the bend/corner wide enough so the trailer wont cut the corner- Is that idiot going to nip into my safety gap - where is that cyclist - is there someone in a blind spot etc. I've got an easier job in electronics now. Much less stress.
@tracker3 funny you should say that cause kawasaki make the ZX14.........which last time i checked is just as shit handleing ......if its pure handleing get preety much ANY 600 sports .....and it will be better simply due to light weight .....but if you want a bike that will piss all over a suzuki and a kwak in the straights AND the corners get a BMW S1000RR or a RSV4 aprc .(before any brand based comments i ride a suzuki GSX750F and before that a kwak ZZR600)
ok. so what if instead of a motorcycle its a van with a family in it trying to go see grandma and grandpa in TN for the holidays. oops not happening because they got ran over by an 18 wheeler OR because they had to go into the ravine because the truck cant make the turn. there are plenty of other roads to go on. ever here of I-40??
ask urself this one question..... could u live w/o semis being on time? almost EVERYTHING u buy has been on a truck at some point. they only take roads like this if thy r running late, and usually they r running late cuz of CARS and MOTORCYCLES. 2 b honest semis arent the biggest issue here. motorcycles r.
@krommann1984 timeliness has absolutely nothing to do with this argument. truckers can EASILY map out their routes to not include this stretch of highway at all and still be on time with every load. the point here is that the sheer size of an 18 wheeler has proven them to be fatally dangerous time and again when it comes to a road like this. i think a ban would be fantastic, and the trucks would be just fine going around, and there would only be negligible time, if any, lost at all
@chris71mach1 obviously you dont drive truck. so until you actually KNOW what you're talking about, i'd not. you want to know what we call motorcycles? speed bumps. its no different than hitting a deer, it's no skin off my nose to plow one under. my man pulls out in front of them just for fun, hoping they hit him. then WE get the $ cuz they were "following too close" muahahahahahahaha!
@krommann1984 How do you pull out in front of someone and then they hit you because they were following too close? Do you even know how to drive a car you thirteen year old nuisance? If you run over a motorcyclist and keep going like a deer, you end up in jail where they rape bitches like you. Asshole.
@krommann1984 Late because of cars maybe, but not motorcycles. Motorcycles only hold up traffic when they have wrecks and at least 2/3 of motorcycle wrecks are caused by other drivers.
I drive a car at the dragon and literally had to hit the shoulder, a very small shoulder at that, when a semi almost ran me over taking over half my lane! Its not safe for semis to be up there with any other vehicles going the opposite direction!
I don't know about an all out ban, but the trucks should definitely be ticketed for crossing over the line and creating a hazard! If they started ticketing the trucks that cross the lines then less of them would take that route and it would then be safer. It would also generate some money for the LEO slush fund...
Yeah, trucks probably shouldn't be on the road. But I also ride a motorcycle and I know that the motorcycle riders only want a safer racetrack. Next they'll want cars banned so they can haul ass around the curves the way they want. It's still a public roadway with traffic laws.
@1911HeadBanger Whether or not that's true doesn't matter, the point of the video is that semis are a hazard to motorcyclists and any other motorists on the road there. You know good and well you'd crap yourself and then die if you came around that blind curve to see a semi on your side of the road with no time to react.
if you drive a truck for a living you should know that before the man at deals gap came up with Dragons tail , trucks used this route daily as i did but we didnt cry for the bikes to be banned we chosse alternate routes.it wasnt always THE DRAGONS TAIL .
I say ban um! A trucking company has a manifest to whats going where. For stores in the area, use a smaller truck like a 6 wheeler straight truck. And from the vids I've seen the truckers knew where they were going. They slid the tandems all the way forward in preperation. Lets say we have a 18 wheeler going N and one Coming S! Then whatcha got? A Cluster fuck! They cant turn around and neither can back up.
@1outerspace1 YEAH! Thats the right answer! Fuck of racing bikes!!! Drive carefuly in traffic and bikers, die on a racetrack or somewhere, but not in traffic! Sorry, my english is not very good, but in germany we have the same problem with stupid bikers who think traffic is racing...i hate this assholes!!!
How the hell are trucks permited to drive on this road, they are clearly to big for the road. Even if they go slow, to try and stay with in the lines they cant.
the dragon is already on a list of no go areas for truck drivers, anyone ignoring that list needs a head reading ( or beating perhaps?) it's only a small jump to enforce it by law.
Most trucks end up there mistakenly anyway ( or so i hear)
the road needs to be redone. not a ban cause trucks still need to get to the stores along the roads and houses will still need goods the trucks bring them like the heating oil or gas. for there homes.
This illustration would be just as effective with a car instead of a motorcycle.
While it may be true that many motorcyclists ride carelessly here, no one disagrees that careless drivers should be taken off the roads, no matter what type of vehicle they use.
The problem here is that 18-wheelers cannot negotiate these curves while remaining on the correct side of the road, even with a good driver.
Can't be more AGREE about bannig the 18 wheelers not the trucks on the road . Truck is a large category a small 7t , a 3,5 one and even a Puller Tractor from a 18 wheeler can manage just fine if its whitout trailer . I think they should mount some kind of barrier that only small trucks SUV motorcycle and sedan cars can pass through whit some kind of rubber on the side so vehicles dont scratch the paint .
My personal opinion is that they should be banned from this road, not because alot of bikers get hurt, but they are so big and bulky, it's like having a Elephant do a balancing act on tight rope... Even trailerless the cab is sometimes bigger than some of the turns, i think it would be safer for them, and all the other cars/bikes that commune that road daily, and for the people who just want to enjoy the thrill of the turns, and not being stupid at the same time.
i think most people forget this a road used for travel and commerce not a playground for the exclusive use of bikers. I'm a rider and part time driver i think its fine to have fun but saying commercial trucks should be banned from a public road is hopelessly ignorant
Problem with banning 18 wheelers is if you do that you won't be able to buy fuel or groceries in all the towns that require US129 for access.
OR, if you haul in smaller trucks, prices in those towns will skyrocket.
It really sucks having 18 wheelers on deals gap and trust me, behind the steering wheel of one it sucks even more! But they are there for a reason, if there was a way around I promise they'd take it.
I drive a truck, and would NOT take this road, I have taken sports cars on the road, and it is fun. But there IS A REASON trucks take this road. If you look at a map, it can be a significant detour to go around this, if your going to certain locations. I have never had to do it. But products do need to get from A to B. And it may be the shortest route. BELIEVE ME the truckers are not taking this route for the scenery. its a PAIN IN THE ASS driving on these narrow roads.
I looked at a map of that area and there is in no way, shape or form why an 18-wheeler should be going down this road in the first place. If you want to take the scenic route then park the truck and get in a normal vehicle. There's nothing out there and very few towns with industries that would need an 18-wheeler to show up at there place of business. It's in a National Park for godsake! What? Are you delivering machinery to the freakin deer or something?
He had to take up both lanes to keep his trailer tandems from dropping off the road. its the only way he could make it in a truck that big.I am a truck driver but no friggin way am i getting on that highway.
bubba your an idiot if your truck can not stay in your lane you should drive on roads that put others in danger u will only get a scratch on your rig but the car or bike will probably be dead or in a wheelchair hows that grab you if it was your family coming around the bend and you hit them because u want to save a little time to get where you where going. tractor trailers have no need to be on these type of roads that why they made major highways .
@bubbiesdad thats not the case, Atleast the bike CAN stay in the lane they are supposed to be in to make the curves, semi's cant stay in their lane to make the curves... get it? Think a little about the problem before you try to make your own.
@DThompson1985 I have seen bikes out of their lane both in person and on the net. One case is the guys on Harley touring bikes trying to pass a van on a curve. Here on youtube.
@bubbiesdad That is not the case, it is the fact that the truck driver CANNOT stay in his lane to navigate the stretch of road, Sure there are bad motorcycle riders but atleast they can stay in their lane. Do you get it or do you have to thick a skull to understand this???
@DThompson1985 Well the first bike shown in this video gets out of his lane into the oncoming lane on the last turn. Just how are trucks supposed to get to their destination? or do you have too thick of a skull to get this?
It is a road for public use, not a playground for weekend bike warriors.
@bubbiesdad Yes a public road that should be safe for all drivers to be on bike, car or truck, it is no safe for a semi to be on as this video shows very well. There are many other roads to get to a destination without taking this one. Im done trying to explain to you what the problem is, your just to stupid to understand.
@SkateborderX12 Wait, what? I fail to understand how its the motorcyclists fault for the trucker being in the wrong lane. Even if it were a car it wouldn't have ended well. What if it were two tractor trailers? That would be quite the conundrum.
I fully believe that motorcycles should banned from all roadways. When I was a recovery operator in a large city in indiana we responded to more cycle accidents then any trucks.I also drove a truck for eighteen years and have seen many instances where the cycle rider done the stupid thing that caused an accident.Trucks deliver all sorts of items that we use everyday, what do motorcycles deliver?
@Rebelwon Motorcycles deliver recreation and relaxation to an uncoountable amount of prople. Do you think we should ban all recreational craft like boats, jet skis and small aircraft too? Just as you've seen many accidents caused by the riders, I'm sure you know of a few caused by truckers...cause I've seen a few myself.
@Rebelwon Well that may have been the case there but atleast 85% of riders are responsible above the ages of 25, ban riding until you are atleast 25 and I bet the numbers of motorcycle related deaths would drop way down.
Yeah lets stop the people that are deleivering everything we buy at stores and what not so rich people who dont have to work can have fun on their motorcycles.. bullshit imo
hey buddy gues what if you looked yeah its a blind corner but the driver warns people that hes coming around if you could hear the horn blow or are you just worried about being a retard with this
@revolutionpm I drive a truck, and ride a bike. What the fuck crawled up your ass and died? I ride to get the feeling of freedom and love to enjoy life while riding. I don't want to be a slave to my job forever, mindlessly driving from point A to point B collect pay check, repeat. Live a little dumb head, crawl over on a bike and get that feeling of pure exhilaration, or is you scared to live a little? :(
@revolutionpm Wow you're uptight man. I have a job, am useful to society, and ENJOY my life. I'm not going to argue with you anymore, because you're one of those types that are that hard headed. Do what you're gonna do, just don't kill anyone doing it.
Well all I can say is Holly Shit, well ok 2 things,I used to be a trucker Until white Line Fever got a hold of me and the Doctors pulled my D/L any way I would Never take this Road,I would NOT be able to live with My self Knowing i had Hit some one and on that road you are playing Russian Ru let.
Well, not defending the moron trucker, but, it seems it knew there was a biker in back, and was f'ing with him? Now here's the the part most have missed? The trucker went wide to because it was being videoed and it pissed him/her off! Hence the very wide sweep to the left side of the road? Crazy huh?
@Grimmvald Yeah....I sometimes take my '96 Stang GT out to Mount Baldy 2 Glendora Twisty Road, shaking out the cobs and dust from underneath the body!!
As for wide turn...ok, but He/She hitting the horn? Still think their panties got twisted upped! 8O)
@SteelBustingShooter The detour might be a safe idea but how long is it? it's not that cheap to drive half a day extra.. As for the horn, that's for safety! warning ppl behind the blind curve
if the truck driver took his time he could have kept well over would still be over the line but not as much.also that aint a big trailer its only bout 30ft long
@mrsuperrodge yes I see just above the Glad hands( airline connections on the trailer) it clearly reads 53. Thats the tailer length- I would like to mention that I have been pulling trailers for 9 years now, I am sure this is a 53 foot trailer.
@mrrodneyalong ive been pulling them about 12 years all diff shapes and sizes and in my opinion it aint 53ft 53 could be a trailer number or anything, also its a tandam axle trailer which leads me to believe it aint that long or else it pulls fresh air around every day i will get a few opinions of this and get back to ya.:)
They can build shoulders so the truck wouldnt have to cross the centerline. Looks like piss poor road planning to me.I am sure he isnt driving that route for the fun of it.
The truck probably has to take the route for his pickup or delivery.
A little "common sense" by the highway commission would limit the size of trucks able to use this dangerous road--limiting them to a straight truck---24 footer. A semi is just too big for the Dragon.
I drive Big Trucks, and also own a bike. I don't want no part of the tail of the dragon in my big Truck.. I have heard that its off limits to big trucks now.. Thats a trucker's nightmare.. Good Video well done..
It's not just bikers that truckers put at risk on this particular road - it's every road user. In fact a biker probably has more flexibility in avoiding a truck as they're more mobile.
thats whats going to happen soon if you truck activist dont stop complaining about trucks, youll get all your crap off the interstate plus fuel plus handling plus paperwork plus redelevery plus fees for a smaller véhicule. i just cant wait for this day to happen all the prices of your shit is going to sky rocket. and for the pollution its just going to be more véhicule on the road, and this resolve your problem.
Apperently you've forgotton that you don't have the RIGHT to drive, you have the PRIVELEDGE, and that the US Routes are NOT your personal race tracks, and that the potential murderer in the transport trucks doesn't want to be there any more than you want him to be there. In fact, if he kills one of you miserable fucks, there is half a day of wages as he waits for the cops to peel your carcass off the front of his truck.

This is typical in the states. Most of the people in the states drive drunk or are under the influence of LSD or some other drug. As far as Im concerned, let them kill each other...no big loss!

18-wheelers were on that road long before motorcycle riders ever thought about it. if you motorcycle riders cant stay in your lane on that road then you shouldnt complain about the 18-wheelers not stayin in theirs
stuck2004 5 days ago
wow.. typical haters..

Seem if a vehicle can't navigate the roadway without crossing double lines it should not be on that particular road.
Gillyg71 2 weeks ago
i agree with lauriejennifer.truckers and trucks have just as much right to the road as anyone else does.but the safer alternative takes longer and makes him late delivering his load and they only have a certain amount of time to deliver it or it could cost them their job.would ya want that to happen?would ya want him to not be able to support his family?

@savagenomore couldnt have said it better myself. when it comes down to it the truck probably has more right to be there. they are just trying to do a job rather than someone who thinks they are going to be the next schumacher or lorenzo.
baldymp3 1 month ago
@baldymp3 But what if it was a minivan full of a family on vacation? It takes the trucks just as long to drive through this "shortcut" as it does for them to drive around-- on roads where they won't be a danger to everyone else.
I have lost two friends in the last two years, thanks to trucks on this road. Neither was a "speed demon" or a reckless rider. Both were seasoned and level headed. Both left children behind.
lauriejennifer 1 month ago
@lauriejennifer mate im sympathetic for your friends family and so on but there are a few things to take into account here.
firstly as they are not banned from using the road a truck has every right to use it.
and secondly i find it hard to believe that any truck driver in their right mind would use this road if there is a safer alternative that takes the same amount of time.
personally i agree that they should not be allowed access to the road.
baldymp3 1 month ago
@baldymp3 I know a truck that is his right mind would do it but then I also have to remember that I am talking about the same guy who would drift a milk truck

why would a responsible cough cough (trucker) go down that road anyway ,its not a matter of taxes or what have you ,living in the midwest i've drive just about everything around here to make a living, shag trucks ,over the road to currently combines , but that doesnt mean i should take a 7720 turbo with the header on it down that road thats utter stupidity .and if you pull a 53footer down that road your a moron plain and simple ,ban the bikes ,yeah becuase hittig mom in a van is so much morefun
Hemi4127 4 months ago
@label1877 Let's ban the bikes? Now that's a rather profound statement, how do new motorcycles and cycle supplies get to the stores for us riders to purchase? On trucks? Banning motorcycles would be taking bread off of some poor truckers plate! Also, motorcycles are NOT STRICTLY recreational, I ride one to work EVERY DAY! It is my primary mode of transportation. AND, I have NEVER seen a traffic jam where a bunch of motorcycles were "clogging" up the road.
TheBubbahog 4 months ago
@TheBubbahog You should watch videos from Thailand, China, Phillipines, etc....You'll see plenty of traffic jams, and its nothing but motorcycles and scooters.
drumbasher 4 months ago
@drumbasher Well I don't live in Thailand, China or the Phillipines and since most folks there ride motorcycles and scooters you would expect to see them in traffic jams. It's not cars, trucks, or motorcycles that cause the traffic jams, it's the folks who don't know how to drive that cause traffic jams.

@Rayquaza2417 I'll make you a deal, if we (truckers) can ban all cars and bikes from the interstates, we will stay off of the curvy roads. Is it a deal?
drumbasher 4 months ago 2
@drumbasher funny thought i paid a toll also, why is this even relevant . the whole trucking industry has restrictions for saftey. you cant cross a 5ton bridge in a 80,000lbs truck by law can you why becuase its not designed to handel the lbs.if you could keep a rig with a 53footer in your lane on this road i would see no problem, but its not possible so logic takes overwait you probably drive under a 10foot bridge becuase you paid taxes to drive your 12foot truck under it right .whats a lifeworth
Hemi4127 4 months ago
@Hemi4127 Yes, the trucking industry is overloaded with restrictions, and how many are on motorcycles? Not enough, thats why they can do wheelies on the interstate going 100 mph, cut in and out of traffic as they please, ride down the shoulder of the road in a traffic jam, etc.... So why don't you ask motorcycle riders what a life is worth, they endanger more people ever day than truckers.
drumbasher 4 months ago
@drumbasher funny every action you just listed about iresponsible riders is illegal is it not ?the only one i would question is lane splitting becuase its legal in california, only exception.there are signs on many highways asking to report aggressive driving.the laws regarding this dont change becuase your on a motorcycle. And im not asking them to change they must remain inplace. I try to influece smart decisions no matter who i'm around so thanks for the suggestion but that questionwas asked
Hemi4127 4 months ago
@drumbasher and as far as motorcycles endangering more people than trucks everyday ,i would like to see some facts on this regarding number of trucks on the rode vs bikes to see if its even possible. I'm not saying a bike cant hurt or kill someone in a car becuase thats a foolish belief that seems to be gaining mometum.800lbs at 150mph has enough energy to kill no dought. But to use these facts as a diversion away from the problem of trucks being to long to travel this road ischildish.minivan
Hemi4127 4 months ago
@Hemi4127 If you look on the map at US 129, lets say you have a load of medical supplies, food or whatever. You need to get that load to Tapoco, N.C., as you can see, there isn't any other way, than through the Dragons Tail. So if we ban big trucks from using US 129, how do you suggest we get that town their supplies? Trust me, I've been on some back roads in KY and W.V. and I wondered why the hell I was on a road like that. But people need goods, and trucks is how we get it to them.
drumbasher 4 months ago
@drumbasher sounds to me like a shorter truck is needed.maybe a straight truck . i know that talk probably doesnt suit well with truckers becuase its money in another guys pocket ,but you wouldnt send a oversize load without pilot cars down a two lane country road.theres no differece here there just to big. If local deliveries were escorted by pilot cars and could safely travel the road ,then fine but after reaserch there a lot of damage done to the road surface there becuase trucks are to long
Hemi4127 4 months ago
@Hemi4127 You'll need to speak with trucking companies about outsourcing their freight. Like I said, if it were up to me, I'd stay on the interstates. I hate those country back roads, some drivers say they save time on them, but I find it hard to believe. A straight truck would be the answer in that situation, but not all trucking companies have local companies they can turn to just to deliver one load of freight. Its best just to deal with the trucks and hope no one gets hurt.
drumbasher 4 months ago
@drumbasher all trucking companies wouldnt be in a situation to profit from the change but thats not a disaster. the disaster is the call to the family when 'hopeing' doesnt work i think for the better of society if it bends in the middle and is over, probably 30ft long it shouldnt be on the dragon ,its just common sense its not about rights, taxes, inequalities,or dumbass riders.its about everybody going home at the end of the day,and another trucker not having to watch someonedieundertheir truck

I bike-ride and drive on such back roads fully expecting to NEVER EVER have to tolerate the nuisance of 18-wheelers.
larrytxeast 4 months ago
@drumbasher car haulers drag the low hanging ramps ,and landing gear has been drug due to the way the corers are banked and the short distances inbetween the corners.
Hemi4127 4 months ago
@drumbasher Frankly, I wish they would ban 18-wheelers from all of the roads period. Besides being unsafe they're extremely annoying, always getting in the way slowing you down. I just want them gone. Find some other way for towns to get their supplies. Maybe create special roads only for the 18-wheelers to do their deal, sort of like trains.
larrytxeast 4 months ago
@drumbasher If I had a motorcycle, I'd ride the shoulder to get out of traffic jams too. People don't object to it because of it being illegal, they're jealous of the advantage. I know this because I "shoulder cut" on my bicycle, which is 100% legal, and people get upset even though it's LEGAL for me to do this. My reply: tough. If you want the advantage, bicycle yourself also, otherwise, you have no right to complain.

@drumbasher take a different rout! fuck how much gas you will use going the long way if you save lives!!
Prodriver33 3 weeks ago
@Prodriver33 Just a few points, we use diesel fuel not gasoline. The company and dispatchers usually make out the routes, not the drivers. I think its a dumb idea, but they pay the bills. And, in the case of Hwy 129, there is no "long way", look at a map and tell me a better way to deliver goods to that area.
drumbasher 2 weeks ago

dskel572 2 weeks ago
@drumbasher you talk as if the interstate is "your territory" i've seen COUNTLESS truckers change lanes onto a car or motorcycle forcing the automobile off onto the shoulder of the interstate almost killing them, i almost witnessed my own father get ran over by a trucker because the trucker decided to move to the left lane for no fucking reason on top of my dad, so we should ban the truckers from the gap, and on the interstate you truck drivers should have to stay in the far right 2 lanes
ChrisWade0690 1 week ago

If trucks cannot stay on their side of the road, especially around blind corners, they should not be allowed to operate on the road.
blinger44 5 months ago
@blinger44 but it is legal for a truck to cross over into the other lanes of travel due to corners that tight blind corner or not.
trucker908 5 months ago
Atleast the truck is nice enough to HONK. Try driving in alberta canada, Where the roads in the mountains truckers drive through and its worse than this. Yet no one complains. Ive been the passenger in a truck and been in a accident with more than 2 bikers, However not our fault. Even the police here say that if you are stupid enough to ride a motorcycle in the mountains, your dumb enough to get killed.
Cliffs12345 5 months ago
lets be fair, while it is a dangerous stretch of road, this video clearly shows the motorcycle riding the center line, inviting disaster. Fact: it's a dangerous road. if danger is too much for you, stay off of it. this clearly is the price you pay to ride a world famous stretch of road.
omgirc2 5 months ago
More like motorcycles shouldn't be allowed to drive the dragon. You guys are so annoying and dangerous. My family is from Fontana,NC and I know what its like without all the motorcycle traffic. Yea trucks cross the yellow line but they have always done that. Its not gonna change. Those trucks have to go that way; it is the only way in from Tenn. HOW ABOUT YOU GO THE SPEED LIMIT .
1212boochie 5 months ago 2
@1212boochie "They've always done that?" That doesn't make it right. A motorcyclists has every right to use that road, & unlike the 18 wheeler, he's not endangering someone just being there. If its' the only way in from TN, they need to make another way--and make the 18 wheelers stay off meanwhile if they can't stay on their side of the road.
larrytxeast 4 months ago
@larrytxeast Well the motorcyclist ARE a danger to others. Have you ever been on the road. If so you would know how they drive dangerously and endanger others by there speed. So you are saying that its ok for the cycles to be dangous, just not the 18 wheelers that are providing goods and supplys to the area. That is why the speed limit is 25mph so you can stop if you see a big-rig. When the motorcycles go like 80 or 90mph they have no chance. So speeders beware.......
1212boochie 4 months ago
@1212boochie
In that situation a car would even have to go off road (cliff/wall) to miss that truck... If each is going 20-25+mph they are closing on each other at a speed of 40-50+mph...
Don't be stupid.
altmandma 4 months ago
@altmandma The closing speed has nothing to do with it. Typical troll .....you just had to put your smarty pants remark in there. krommann1984 7 months ago
@krommann1984 timeliness has absolutely nothing to do with this argument. truckers can EASILY map out their routes to not include this stretch of highway at all and still be on time with every load. the point here is that the sheer size of an 18 wheeler has proven them to be fatally dangerous time and again when it comes to a road like this. i think a ban would be fantastic, and the trucks would be just fine going around, and there would only be negligible time, if any, lost at all
chris71mach1 7 months ago

I don't know about an all out ban, but the trucks should definitely be ticketed for crossing over the line and creating a hazard! If they started ticketing the trucks that cross the lines then less of them would take that route and it would then be safer. It would also generate some money for the LEO slush fund...

Yeah, trucks probably shouldn't be on the road. But I also ride a motorcycle and I know that the motorcycle riders only want a safer racetrack. Next they'll want cars banned so they can haul ass around the curves the way they want. It's still a public roadway with traffic laws.
1911HeadBanger 8 months ago
@1911HeadBanger Whether or not that's true doesn't matter, the point of the video is that semis are a hazard to motorcyclists and any other motorists on the road there. You know good and well you'd crap yourself and then die if you came around that blind curve to see a semi on your side of the road with no time to react.

They cant turn around and neither can back up.

ashtonpreston1 10 months ago
the dragon is already on a list of no go areas for truck drivers, anyone ignoring that list needs a head reading ( or beating perhaps?) it's only a small jump to enforce it by law.
Most trucks end up there mistakenly anyway ( or so i hear)
Antifaith29 10 months ago
the road needs to be redone. not a ban cause trucks still need to get to the stores along the roads and houses will still need goods the trucks bring them like the heating oil or gas. for there homes.
Brave875 10 months ago
the roads are built mainly to transport goods so you just have to respect the trucks and be prepared to move for them....
007e38 10 months ago
This illustration would be just as effective with a car instead of a motorcycle.
While it may be true that many motorcyclists ride carelessly here, no one disagrees that careless drivers should be taken off the roads, no matter what type of vehicle they use.
The problem here is that 18-wheelers cannot negotiate these curves while remaining on the correct side of the road, even with a good driver.
psteverific 10 months ago

Even trailerless the cab is sometimes bigger than some of the turns, i think it would be safer for them, and all the other cars/bikes that commune that road daily, and for the people who just want to enjoy the thrill of the turns, and not being stupid at the same time.
srrymonkey 10 months ago
i think most people forget this a road used for travel and commerce not a playground for the exclusive use of bikers. I'm a rider and part time driver i think its fine to have fun but saying commercial trucks should be banned from a public road is hopelessly ignorant
xgallantwarriorx 11 months ago
In the beginning of the video the biker is practically on the left lane. He's leaning left and tires are barely on the right lane.
Bikers are a problem themselves.
lfsracer79 11 months ago
Problem with banning 18 wheelers is if you do that you won't be able to buy fuel or groceries in all the towns that require US129 for access.
OR, if you haul in smaller trucks, prices in those towns will skyrocket.
It really sucks having 18 wheelers on deals gap and trust me, behind the steering wheel of one it sucks even more! But they are there for a reason, if there was a way around I promise they'd take it.
islandfd3s 11 months ago
I drive a truck, and would NOT take this road, I have taken sports cars on the road, and it is fun. But there IS A REASON trucks take this road. If you look at a map, it can be a significant detour to go around this, if your going to certain locations. I have never had to do it. But products do need to get from A to B. And it may be the shortest route. BELIEVE ME the truckers are not taking this route for the scenery. its a PAIN IN THE ASS driving on these narrow roads.
kens97sto171 11 months ago
I looked at a map of that area and there is in no way, shape or form why an 18-wheeler should be going down this road in the first place. If you want to take the scenic route then park the truck and get in a normal vehicle. There's nothing out there and very few towns with industries that would need an 18-wheeler to show up at there place of business. It's in a National Park for godsake! What? Are you delivering machinery to the freakin deer or something?
irishraider 11 months ago
He had to take up both lanes to keep his trailer tandems from dropping off the road. its the only way he could make it in a truck that big.I am a truck driver but no friggin way am i getting on that highway.
fultz64 11 months ago
if YOU cant keep it in YOUR lane then YOU shouldn't be driving/riding that road.
hateradeR6 11 months ago
Scary, not just for motorcyclists, but for every vehicle on the road. Jeez...

Thank you for this video; definitely 18-wheelers need to be banned from the Tail of the Dragon! I'm sharing it on FB and Biker's Post.
artemis133 1 year ago
I drive both and yes, trucks have no business on the dragon!
vwkid05 1 year ago
no truckers shouldnt ive been on this road many times but yea it aint hard to drive slower and stay in ur lane
pamlicopeterbilt05 1 year ago
that is a good lesson. thank i will drive slowly in those Blind curve.
samquan123 1 year ago
bubba your an idiot if your truck can not stay in your lane you should drive on roads that put others in danger u will only get a scratch on your rig but the car or bike will probably be dead or in a wheelchair hows that grab you if it was your family coming around the bend and you hit them because u want to save a little time to get where you where going. tractor trailers have no need to be on these type of roads that why they made major highways .
krash6420 1 year ago
@krash6420 what about the bikes that don't stay in their lane?
bubbiesdad 1 year ago
@bubbiesdad thats not the case, Atleast the bike CAN stay in the lane they are supposed to be in to make the curves, semi's cant stay in their lane to make the curves... get it? Think a little about the problem before you try to make your own.
DThompson1985 11 months ago
@DThompson1985 I have seen bikes out of their lane both in person and on the net. One case is the guys on Harley touring bikes trying to pass a van on a curve. Here on youtube.
bubbiesdad 11 months ago
@bubbiesdad That is not the case, it is the fact that the truck driver CANNOT stay in his lane to navigate the stretch of road, Sure there are bad motorcycle riders but atleast they can stay in their lane. Do you get it or do you have to thick a skull to understand this???
DThompson1985 11 months ago
@DThompson1985 Well the first bike shown in this video gets out of his lane into the oncoming lane on the last turn. Just how are trucks supposed to get to their destination? or do you have too thick of a skull to get this?
It is a road for public use, not a playground for weekend bike warriors.
bubbiesdad 11 months ago
@bubbiesdad Yes a public road that should be safe for all drivers to be on bike, car or truck, it is no safe for a semi to be on as this video shows very well. There are many other roads to get to a destination without taking this one. Im done trying to explain to you what the problem is, your just to stupid to understand.
DThompson1985 11 months ago
@DThompson1985 Well let's ban those power rangers racing on the road also.
bubbiesdad 11 months ago
@DThompson1985 Well what about when the bikes CHOOSE to stray from their lane?
bubbiesdad 11 months ago
I don't like bikers. They're insufferable.

MOTORCYCLES FAULT!!!your suppose to slow down before you turn on a road like this.
SkateborderX12 1 year ago
@SkateborderX12 Wait, what? I fail to understand how its the motorcyclists fault for the trucker being in the wrong lane. Even if it were a car it wouldn't have ended well. What if it were two tractor trailers? That would be quite the conundrum.
jamesevanhenry 1 year ago
@jamesevanhenry well its mt opinion.
SkateborderX12 1 year ago
@jamesevanhenry Well motorcycles also drive in the wrong lane.
bubbiesdad 1 year ago
I fully believe that motorcycles should banned from all roadways. When I was a recovery operator in a large city in indiana we responded to more cycle accidents then any trucks.I also drove a truck for eighteen years and have seen many instances where the cycle rider done the stupid thing that caused an accident.Trucks deliver all sorts of items that we use everyday, what do motorcycles deliver?
Rebelwon 1 year ago
@Rebelwon Motorcycles deliver recreation and relaxation to an uncoountable amount of prople. Do you think we should ban all recreational craft like boats, jet skis and small aircraft too? Just as you've seen many accidents caused by the riders, I'm sure you know of a few caused by truckers...cause I've seen a few myself.
jimdsnow 1 year ago
@Rebelwon Well that may have been the case there but atleast 85% of riders are responsible above the ages of 25, ban riding until you are atleast 25 and I bet the numbers of motorcycle related deaths would drop way down.
DThompson1985 11 months ago
iv been on this road in a truck more times then i care to count never had a problem on it

Yeah lets stop the people that are deleivering everything we buy at stores and what not so rich people who dont have to work can have fun on their motorcycles.. bullshit imo

@LOL1994jake yeah i meant that while people are out playing while others are actually working and shutting down a route that they take or need is bs
Bubbaj77 1 year ago
hey buddy gues what if you looked yeah its a blind corner but the driver warns people that hes coming around if you could hear the horn blow or are you just worried about being a retard with this
bigchevyc30 1 year ago
Trucks are using the highway for a real purpose.
Bikers are of no known use.
Only important to themselves.
Eliminate the useless (biker) from the road.
No problem.
revolutionpm 1 year ago
@revolutionpm I drive a truck, and ride a bike. What the fuck crawled up your ass and died? I ride to get the feeling of freedom and love to enjoy life while riding. I don't want to be a slave to my job forever, mindlessly driving from point A to point B collect pay check, repeat. Live a little dumb head, crawl over on a bike and get that feeling of pure exhilaration, or is you scared to live a little? :(
johnss11n 1 year ago
@johnss11n I own and operate my own business for a living and do not have to ride a two wheeled machine for exiliration.
I love my life and call all of my own shots.
Guess that is why I opt for the useful commerce dedicated trucks over the whiny @**ed wrist twisting cyclist.
Need exiliration? Try being useful to the planet instead of crying over a stretch of asphalt.
revolutionpm 1 year ago
@revolutionpm Wow you're uptight man. I have a job, am useful to society, and ENJOY my life. I'm not going to argue with you anymore, because you're one of those types that are that hard headed. Do what you're gonna do, just don't kill anyone doing it.
johnss11n 1 year ago
@revolutionpm From the looks of the video the truck takes up the majority of both lanes so even cars and other trucks would collide with it.
loganator01 1 year ago
we just witnessed the first ghost vehicle collision...
lol dont trucks usually take detours to prevent taking roads like this??
XxBillyGoatNinjaxX 1 year ago
Well all I can say is Holly Shit, well ok 2 things,I used to be a trucker Until white Line Fever got a hold of me and the Doctors pulled my D/L any way I would Never take this Road,I would NOT be able to live with My self Knowing i had Hit some one and on that road you are playing Russian Ru let.
THETRUECRASHMONKEY 1 year ago
Well, not defending the moron trucker, but, it seems it knew there was a biker in back, and was f'ing with him? Now here's the the part most have missed? The trucker went wide to because it was being videoed and it pissed him/her off! Hence the very wide sweep to the left side of the road? Crazy huh?
SteelBustingShooter 1 year ago
@SteelBustingShooter He went wide because those trucks have an extremely wide turning radius.
I'd like to take my car on that road. Looks exhilarating.
Grimmvald 1 year ago
@Grimmvald Yeah....I sometimes take my '96 Stang GT out to Mount Baldy 2 Glendora Twisty Road, shaking out the cobs and dust from underneath the body!!
As for wide turn...ok, but He/She hitting the horn? Still think their panties got twisted upped! 8O)
Later Bro,
SBS
SteelBustingShooter 1 year ago
@SteelBustingShooter The detour might be a safe idea but how long is it? it's not that cheap to drive half a day extra.. As for the horn, that's for safety! warning ppl behind the blind curve
Fixxer86 1 year ago
if the truck driver took his time he could have kept well over would still be over the line but not as much.also that aint a big trailer its only bout 30ft long
mrsuperrodge 1 year ago
@mrsuperrodge that is a 53 foot trailer with the tandums slid up to the 40 foot mark
mrrodneyalong 1 year ago
@mrrodneyalong if thats a 53 foot trailer then im the pope pause it at 23 secs and you can clearly see how short it is
mrsuperrodge 1 year ago
@mrsuperrodge yes I see just above the Glad hands( airline connections on the trailer) it clearly reads 53. Thats the tailer length- I would like to mention that I have been pulling trailers for 9 years now, I am sure this is a 53 foot trailer.
mrrodneyalong 1 year ago
@mrrodneyalong ive been pulling them about 12 years all diff shapes and sizes and in my opinion it aint 53ft 53 could be a trailer number or anything, also its a tandam axle trailer which leads me to believe it aint that long or else it pulls fresh air around every day i will get a few opinions of this and get back to ya.:)
mrsuperrodge 1 year ago
They can build shoulders so the truck wouldnt have to cross the centerline. Looks like piss poor road planning to me.I am sure he isnt driving that route for the fun of it.
The truck probably has to take the route for his pickup or delivery.
Mostnorthern 1 year ago
i ride a cruiser but would love to take this thing on a yamaha r1 looks sweet....good vid
Damico07 1 year ago
A little "common sense" by the highway commission would limit the size of trucks able to use this dangerous road--limiting them to a straight truck---24 footer. A semi is just too big for the Dragon.
izador1000 1 year ago
I drive Big Trucks, and also own a bike. I don't want no part of the tail of the dragon in my big Truck.. I have heard that its off limits to big trucks now.. Thats a trucker's nightmare.. Good Video well done..
TomLumpkins 1 year ago
It's not just bikers that truckers put at risk on this particular road - it's every road user. In fact a biker probably has more flexibility in avoiding a truck as they're more mobile.
DarkSk1es 1 year ago
thats whats going to happen soon if you truck activist dont stop complaining about trucks, youll get all your crap off the interstate plus fuel plus handling plus paperwork plus redelevery plus fees for a smaller véhicule. i just cant wait for this day to happen all the prices of your shit is going to sky rocket. and for the pollution its just going to be more véhicule on the road, and this resolve your problem.

Lol at bikerfags who are mad.
