i have all respect for this girl! We are reading the odyssey in english class and i almost had to go to the nurse because i was so nauseated from all the details. my english teacher did a really good job at teaching it, it was just too graphic for me. Now, this wasn't as detailed or graphic, but congrats to her for being able to do this. I could never do that. Congratulations. It was really good

Odysseus did not say that they shouldnt steal the food.He just wanted to wait for the owner of the cave to return so that he might get some gifts from him.As was the greek tradition.It could also be argued that he didnt want to leave without confronting the owner of the cave because it might have looked like he was afraid.You also left out one of the most important parts.Where Odysseus tells the Cyclops his name is"Nobody"or"No man"depending on the translation.
