@tecrodark I love MVC3 too, and it's a lot of fun, but when you play online, you got SO many spammers, it's a shame and it really takes the fun out of the gameplay, so I don't play it very often! I play it to practice combos most of the time, SSF4 is STILL the best fighting game, so I noticed ppl play that more than MVC3. I'd LOVE to try this game out though, it looks interesting.
@moonchild2006 Uh, last I checked (not being rude), SF4 is NOT the best fighting game. The story sucks, and yes, like you said, the game is fun, but SSF4 (my least favorite SF game) has many spammers that take the fun out of the match and you have to figure out the freakin pattern in order to beat them, which is really hard. This game, Blazblue, Tekken, and many more, at least doesn't have a lot of spammers (or they're easy to punish) and they have a good story (or arcade) mode .

Anyway, yeah, I ran into a few spammers on SSF4, one player keeps jumping back and waits for me to attack, (I had Guy and he had either Oni or Sagat.), I almost had him once, but he beats me in the end, I went against him a few times, but he keeps jumping away and waited for me so he can counter. I often wonder, is getting a rank THAT important in the game? Ppl will spam anything just to get points and it goes to show that they can't play, so they cheat.

Hello, I love fighting games, but I've not really ventured into playing arcana heart. See Im one of those skeptics that believe its all about the fan service so I didnt play the first one. But from all over the net and people that played this ive heard it actually has a great fighting system if you get past its obvious fanservice characters so I decided to the idea that I probably should keep my on this and I want to know is what I heard over the net true?
@MIRACLEfool It's all 'fanservice' and all great fighting system. There's not really any compromise between the two. It's got a full palette of moe characters and a deep, interesting system that leaves a lot of room for personality while being also fundamentally simple to play.
I don't know, I like it a lot. Everything about it.

Kaz is literally THE ONLY GUY in this whole game! It's kinda hilarious once you realize that. I think I might use Eko sometime...if only because the image of kicking my older brother's ass with the power of imagination is just too tempting.
@datriadx18 It's a good fighting game with cute characters. It gives you a break from macho characters like Street Fighter. But most of all, it's fun to juggle your opponent with massive combos.
Well, for one, with 23 different characters to choose from, and 23 elementals to equip the characters with, that's a lot of mixing-and-matching to experiment with. You could technically change up a character's entire gameplay strategy just by changing her arcana, which makes for some pretty interesting matches.
That, and...wellm think about it: If Arc System Works, who made Guilty Gear and Blazblue, thought this was good enough to publish, then it's GOTTA be a good fighter game.
@GreentheGunstar I honestly don't believe Arcana Hearts really needed to prove anything by being approved by Arc System Works but it's nice they took upon a rival in Examu and published it for them. They're both small-ish companies so it's nice to see some camaraderie. Reminds me of the days when SNK and Capcom decided to join forces.
@Shippoyasha Examu did an SNK game originally- Sam Sho 5 Special- which was really good. In fact, one of the chars in the vid, the girl with the mallet on the Wolf- resembles Rera from that.
I put a couple of credits in AH3 when I saw it at the arcade. Eko-chan and her crayon monster totally sold me on this game. Got to get translation though... I can't deal with that much Japanese.
I really like how this next installment looks in the arcana Hearts series looks. Unfortunately, the input gatling seems incredibly......unaccounted for. I hope I'm wrong about that. /:

I'm surprised this is comming out in the U.S. I have Arcana Heart 1 and it is a really good game. But, with the all girl fighting theme going on and the quirky Japanese way this game is. I'd figure this game would go into the, this game is to wierd for American taste category, even though they did release the first one. But, fighting games are pretty red hot right now, so the likely hood of all kind of fighting games getting released is good right now. Glad to see this will be getting it.

I hope you're at least talking Marvel 2, because Marvel 3 is a piece of shit to begin with.
It's more like Melty Blood, with a few differences (like homing).
The only similarity to Marvel is that the combos are longer than 4 or so hits. Everything else is pretty much different.

the closest you'll get to that is arcana heart 1 or download a arcana heart 2 iso & Ps2 emulator which is really hard.

@icecreammael if you have a ps3 Id suggest you import it, since we didnt get ah1 nor 2 in EU. its a fighting game anyway, so unless youre really into the story you'll get along with the japanese version.

Most fighting games actually look animeish. People call them Doujin Style, when it's kind of dumb to really call them that. If you want to see something anime looking, look at Melty Blood.
