@anovo21 How come the PW and RR dont make this noise? I always wondered. I know the bleed air goes into the engine to start up but still y that sound?
Sealalula you mean you wanted to fly Singapore Airlines. This vid owns my two vids. Rotating beacon's AWESOME! They should install MORE flashing lights! And why do they always start the right engine before the left? They should start both at a time.
the 777 which are powered by RR or PW engines can start both engines at the same time... i think with these massive GE engines, the APU can only handle one engine at a time (with air).. however this is only what i think... and after 5 years of observation while working on the ramp
LOVE the sound of her when she starts up!!! the mooing sound is intense when ur standing beside the plane when she starts up.. u can feel it in the chest.. freakin awesome!
these engines can blow a military tank in the sky

I like how there's a high-pitched crying noise at the beginning then the bellowing groan of the right, then left engine.

the high pitch nose is the air-starter and the start valve

thats the bleed air from the APU being forced into the engine prior to ignition which is when u hear the loud mooing sound

I love the B77W! My fave plane. I just got back from LAX on a VA B77W - takeoff is awesome. The roar of those engines is amazing!
