Heard this July or Aug last summer (2011) at 2:00 AM in Fort St. John, B.C. We had the bedrdoom window open and it woke me up. I got up and looked but it was cloudy. I thought it was a huge squadron of jet planes flying close together. Lots of chemtrails that week. But this is the sound for sure.
Yes, its the sound of the magnetic field bending from a solar quake. You will hear it more often. Its something new they have discovered. Much worst and odd sounding in other places. Dont panic it nature.

Ive been hearing this too in Calgary. I thought it was from some sort of helicopter....is there a base near south calgary anyone know? in dec we actually saw a spot llight shining down and going in and out of the clouds and 2 night ago the same noise but with no lights.... people at my husbands work heard it 2 days ago also and there at least a 15 minute drive from where i am. I have done well testing in that area. A really big well will make a noise like that, that can be heard for miles when they are letting it off. Some tests can go on for weeks so that they can evaluate how much gas they are sitting on. I am not saying that is the cause because these sounds are being heard all over in that area from Dawson Creek BC to Conklin Alberta every few days. I have friends working in the oil patch up there and none of them know what to make of it. Some are freaked out.
I've heard this 3 times before. I live about a 2 miles away from a power plant that refines coal, and about 1 mile from a highway (?). on a sunny day, I was watching television, the out of NOWHERE there was this huge roaring sound that overtook the sound of the TV (it started abruptly, like a train wreck) I walked outside to find the sound was nearly deafening. I had to cover my ears and had to scream at my brother in order for him to hear me. This happened for forty minutes then just- stopped.
I've been watching videos all morning about these noises across the world. I have no idea what they are, maybe something to do with HAARP? Hate to say it, but the bible thumpers are scaring the crap outta me with all the fire and brimstone. I'll keep listening here in Newfoundland! Keep taping them and get a date stamp on your vids! These sounds have been heard all over the world even here in Canada. All I have been able to find out is due to the recent shift/tilt of the earths poles, that these sounds could be the sounds of solar winds.

ok first of all, I know exactly where you live, I live in sexsmith (20-30 mins on backroad for those of you who don't know)
1) you live extremely close to the highway in Beaverlodge
2) in proximity of sound, you are also extremely close to the GRANDE PRAIRIE AIRPORT, FYI just because you cannot see a plane does not mean it is not there!
3) I have watched all your video's and am one of the most paranoid people ever, and I hear NOTHING in any of them, that would ever alarm me, what I do hear WITHOUT any doubt is the sound of rigs & trucks, tires, jake brakes HIGHWAY.......wait until you hear a set of mud tires
4) I live around 6 miles from highway & hear the SAME thing, and the close I get the the road, the clearer it becomes
5) noises will be louder & more intense when there is NO WIND, cold conditions also amplify the noise
6) I have watched alot of other "weird noises" vids with loud and definite noises in them, yours DO NOT have this, it sounds no louder then any regular vids background noise

Is this still happening? It does kind of sound like distant traffic to me. But if you've been hearing it for weeks or months, you'd be able to pinpoint the direction it's coming from eventually. And if you can't, that tells me that it's everywhere. And if it has no "real" direct man-made source, it has to be earth made or space made. There's just no other explanation. But if that's the case, why can it only be heard in certain towns in Alberta and not throughout this Province?

@mzukiws Don't be a moron, every jet I hear, I see. Unless I don't take the time to look for it, is only when I don't see it. Common sense tells me not to look up, but across the sky, because you only hear jets when they pass. And I know distinctively what they sound like so I would never "wonder" what the strange noise is. A jet is a jet, traffic is traffic. I'm giving the uploaded the benefit of the doubt that they don't recognize what they're hearing.
Sometimes at night, or on a quiet day at my grandmothers, you could hear the traffic on the highway, miles away. This could be something similar. But im open to possibilities.

I live in Pennsylvania, USA and have been hearing this for months. heard it like in this video a few days ago around 3pm but mostly I hear it at night when going to bed like 11-1am. sounds like a jet flying close by that never goes past. just keeps lingering nearby then it finally fades out (sometimes starting up after a few minute or so). it's doing it as I type this - (11:45 on 12/30/2011)
It is def odd. Start to consider "Project Blue Beam" or even Haarp I haven't heard anything like this in person, but I heard alot of the same or similar thing in other videos. Your vids are the most convincing and are in alignment with the Florida sounds. I don't buy the Kiev type sounds because they seem too much like War of the Worlds movie. Between the sounds everywhere and the constant ufo/fireball sightings caught on video I wish whatever was going to happen would just happen. All these phenomena seem to be accelerating.
Im a surveyor in Rocky Mountain House, AB. I know what flaring is and well testing is. I hear it every day.

I've heard this 3 times before. I live about a 2 miles away from a power plant that refines coal, and about 1 mile from a highway (?). on a sunny day, I was watching television, the out of NOWHERE there was this huge roaring sound that overtook the sound of the TV (it started abruptly, like a train wreck) I walked outside to find the sound was nearly deafening. I had to cover my ears and had to scream at my brother in order for him to hear me. This happened for forty minutes then just- stopped.

I've been watching videos all morning about these noises across the world. I have no idea what they are, maybe something to do with HAARP? These sounds have been heard all over the world even here in Canada. All I have been able to find out is due to the recent shift/tilt of the earths poles, that these sounds could be the sounds of solar winds.

1) you live extremely close to the highway in Beaverlodge

4) I live around 6 miles from highway & hear the SAME thing, and the close I get the the road, the clearer it becomes

Is this still happening? It does kind of sound like distant traffic to me. But if you've been hearing it for weeks or months, you'd be able to pinpoint the direction it's coming from eventually. And if you can't, that tells me that it's everywhere. And if it has no "real" direct man-made source, it has to be earth made or space made. There's just no other explanation. But if that's the case, why can it only be heard in certain towns in Alberta and not throughout this Province?

@mzukiws Don't be a moron, every jet I hear, I see. Unless I don't take the time to look for it, is only when I don't see it. Common sense tells me not to look up, but across the sky, because you only hear jets when they pass. And I know distinctively what they sound like so I would never "wonder" what the strange noise is. A jet is a jet, traffic is traffic. I'm giving the uploaded the benefit of the doubt that they don't recognize what they're hearing.

In winter here, Jan-Feb. are usually our coldest month's. -20 to -40 with up to 4 ft. of snow. This year, no snow and temperatures above zero.

I live in Pennsylvania, USA and have been hearing this for months. heard it like in this video a few days ago around 3pm but mostly I hear it at night when going to bed like 11-1am. sounds like a jet flying close by that never goes past. just keeps lingering nearby then it finally fades out (sometimes starting up after a few minute or so). it's doing it as I type this - (11:45 on 12/30/2011)

What is sound? If you know the answer, you would know why a planet traveling through outer space, in an environment with no air or atmosphere, traveling at many times the speed of sound, would not make a sound (that we could perceive or detect with our ears) until the god damned thing smacked into us, and we would all be dead before the sound hit us. I have been hearing the same noise. Its a huge planet coming on our way to planet earth, because of the earths rotation you will only be able hear the noise at same time everyday. Its getting louder and louder everyday. Planet X is very close be ready. Your ears will bleed soon. The world will end anyway. Its nothing we humankind can do about it. Don`t panic. Check out the video I uploaded with strange noises. Sounded like the sky was being ripped apart. Gov't said it was jets. I never saw the jets and the sound lasted more than 20 minutes...

Your vids are the most convincing and are in alignment with the Florida sounds. I don't buy the Kiev type sounds because they seem too much like War of the Worlds movie. Between the sounds everywhere and the constant ufo/fireball sightings caught on video I wish whatever was going to happen would just happen. All these phenomena seem to be accelerating.
