You may want to advoid keeping your gear on when crafting or gathering unless they support that job. It helps them last longer because it with eventually break.

@PicomanGames haha sambonz i did the EXACT same thing on that EXACT mining quest going up and around and realizing it was below lol and on the day before i moved which was a short month ago and i havnt played since the move but i got the game again fixed my computer ad got everything set up so i will hopefully start again..just worried about how my life dropped 600hp and i died from a coblyn 2 levels lower than me so i dont know whats up. hoping to catch up on your videos and find an answer lol

Haha, I see that your a natural at mining. Though for cooking, which I was actually looking into, just looks flat out scary. The suspense just wouldn't let up! Still looks fun though with the detailed recipes. Keep up the awesome vids Seraphis/sambnonz! Also that shout-out thing is really cool.

@UdaraStrifeVII hehe the cooking *is* intense! same with the weaving (tailoring). it's hard to convey on a video but believe me, you end up breaking out in a sweat lol! thanks for the kind words and i'm glad you're enjoying the series =)

@sambonz sweetheart i think waiting brings your durablity with a double increase per wait in a row, aka wait once durability goes down by 1 then 2 then 4 then 8 if you do it over n over be careful!

Finally got my chocobo, Sambo! :D Named him "kwehy" lol. Pretty much if you do all the non-dungeon quests for the grand company you want to join, you'll have just enough seals to get your chocobo! (at lvl25) You can always use rentals in the time being, though!

Hey Sambonz! Sorry i haven't been posting comments recently, i've been kinda busy with some stuff lately but i've been keeping up-to-date with your Let's Play vids and i have to say the new gear looks awesome!

I really want this game so badly for PS3 it's driving me insane lol...

I wish SE would just release it right now since it looks like it's running perfectly fine the way it is =)

You actually need a card better than Radeon HD 5000 series to run this game on low. Your processor should at least be around 2.3 - 2.5 GHz and more than two cores. If you can't get at least a 1800~ on the benchmark don't bother buying the game. Wait for PS3 because you will be sad when you finish patching and realize how agonizing it is to play with 0 - 1800~ rating even on the lowest settings and an amazing internet.

Here is what the colors mean

White: The the normal state, all actions are at normal effectiveness.

Yellow: Effectivness and success rate of actions will be slightly lower, but the boost in quality if successful will be slightly greater.

Red: Effectiveness and success rate of actions will be lower, but the boost in quality will be even greater..

Rainbow pulsating: Effectiveness and success rate of Bold Synthesis is improved. Other actions seem to be effective as well.

Sparks: Unstable use wait.

@HawkEyeA53B haha yeh they're feisty little buggers ;p oh grats on ordering the game! the good news is that the vast majority of kinks are long gone now. i mean, the game's still 'quirky' as you will have no doubt noticed if you've been following my series, but it's charms far outweigh any shortgivings now in my opinion. keep us posted with your thoughts =)
