@romain7089 Alors tout d'abord, tu joues super bien, il faut le dire mais j'aurais quelques questions à te poser :D Déjà, ta mattocaster est magnifique, ce n'est pas une question et donc mon commentaire n'a plus aucun sens et ma deuxieme question est que même quand je mets une grosse disto dégueulasse, je n'obtiens pas un son comme ca... Je suis obligé de le faire sur la corde du bas à la 15 ème case pour obtenir ce son. Aide moi :p tu as l'air de t'y connaitre et je suis équipé comme une merde.

I'm fairly new to guitar and I don't get where the really high note comes from in the intro if you are only playing on the low frets? Is it a certain way you have to set the amp?

@FalconFlurry you use harmonics for the high part (for harmonics you just lightly touch your finger to the string - don't mute it. if you do it right, you should get that high sound)

my jackson is 6-string. For the intro of citizen, I use the whammy in octaver ( -1oct ) with the string A.

On the official tab, it is write: tune: AADGBE.

But for me, with a vibrato Floyd Rose, Tuning my guitar in AADGBe for ONE song and next Re-tune in EADGBe, It is boring.

If you know how according a guitar with Floyd Rose Vibrato, you will understand.

No you can look it up on Wikipedia and I quote:

The guitar parts were recorded with a six-string guitar with the sixth string tuned down to A. Live, the guitar part is played on a seven-string, with the tuning, low to high, AADDGBE[citation needed], the A strings an octave apart and the D strings at the same pitch.

@romain7089 Just a correction,tombola was right,the studio version was E tuned to A on a 6-string,he got the 7-string after recording OoS,and thats tuned to AADDGBe live

however he did not tune down the string, he used the whammy pedal on the A string to go down one full octave and come back up for the harmonics this is the best and most efficiant way of doing this song like i do but onstage 7 strings free's matt from the pedal board.

He uses a seven string, but the tuning is AADDGBE.

The bottom A is dropped down an octave, and the D strings are tuned exactly the same. weird, yes, but it's how he plays it live.

Ben, soit t'as comme moi un POD XT live, et tu mets la simu du marshall J-800, soit ben tu met une bon disto bien "grasse". Je vois pas trop comment t'éclairé. Dis moi ce que tu as comme matériel, je pourrais mieux t'aider.
