  • @Wendy101 My mom also had a hair loss due to her medication.. But after a month, I have seen her hair starts to regrow.. I saw her happy with a full head of healthy, natural hair.. Anyway, you can find its solution at this site HairLoss101. net (remove space)

  • what do/did you use in your hair while in braids? and how did you wash or co-washed it?..please let me know

  • braids grow out hair..it's amazing!! i know! great vid=)

  • So is braiding with weave like kinky twists safe for natural? My hair is naturally curly and i was curious, because when ur hair is medium length(to my ear n the nape of my neck)its hard to style. do u have any suggestions to help with that. By the way ur hair grows very fast!!

  • That cookie jar in the beginning had me drooling...lol

  • I was wonder what was your regime to help your hair grow so long and healthy.

  • I have to say that I watched this video over 2 years ago and admired your hair growth. I was natural 10 years ago for around 6 years then went back to relaxer. November 2010 I did my BC (real short), I am now approaching my 5 month nappiversary and loving every minute. I see you as the one who inspired me to begin with now so many ladies & gents are supporting me on my channel to continue with my natural journey. Just wanted to say THANK YOU!!!

  • love love this...u were such a pretty kid n still are

  • i did relaxer when i was nine after that never did it again.

  • Wow your hair looks amazing!!! How long do you leave the braids in? What products do use to take care of your hair while it is braided and when you take out the braides? How long do wait before you put the braides back in?

  • OMG YOUR HAIR IS SO LONG AND HEALTHY!!! I STOPPED USING RELAXERS BOUT 8 MONTHS AGO AND JUST KEPT MY HAIR BRAIDED DOWN AND HAD SEW IN WEAVES, BUT I FEEL LIKE ITS NOT GROWING THICKER OR LONGER LIKE IT SHOULD, WHAT SHOULD I DO??

  • @downgirl123 What I do it braid my own self *about 6-8 braids and parted* after I wash and add in oils and shea butter, tie it down at night, wear lace front wigs= hair will breath nightly *no glue* after 2 weeks It again. What is best is I get to change my hair plenty with the wigs and with the washes and moisturizing it have grew in actually some weeks. Before it wasnt growing cause i would just wash and leave it ,now its getting huge.Maybe because I forget about it ^^

  • how long did you keep your braids in?

  • So..., if I decide to go natural, can I not put heat to my hair? It looks as if you already had a nice texture and wouldn't really require heat, me hair is extremely course, and I dont know how I'd manage it

  • Did you single braid you hair with extension or just you real hair .

  • love this vid iam about to do my bc soon

  • I feel you...natural is so much healthier. Actually it so versatile why wouldn't you want to rock it...it's you! Much love.

  • Your hair looks wonderful..love your video..you have to take care of your video..looking forward.to watching..more of your video..

  • I love your hair and what a nice texture it has.... I have dreds and I am thinking about cutting them but never returning to perms or any other chemicals. I love your videos please continue to post..

  • Wowwwww look at your growth!!! Def an inspiration to me!!! LOVE it, lady!

  • omg omg omg i really really want 2:34.. im not sure if i can even get there.. because my hair is thin and brittle.. im 9 months in of transitioning and i don't have all the growth tht other ppl 9 months in of transitioning have =( and i don't have alot of iron..

  • @nessawithsmiles Hey. I was wondering how it is going. It has been 5 months since you posted this. It will happen if you have patience. My hair was having problems and I was always complaining. Right now I am pretty proud of my progress. BBBD's hair was much longer than mine after one year but my hair still grew a lot and it will continue God willing. I hope you are feeling better about your hair.

  • @lilchez1 yess i feel much better!! thank you for asking!! i need to trim soon, how often do u suggest i get trims?? && my growth is getting much better although i haven't done my "mini chop" i've been transitioning forr about 15 months

  • I wanna do that. I said I was gonna stop perming my hair but then Justin Bieber was coming to Manhattan so I had to DO SOMETHING!!! DON'T JUDGE ME!!! lol, I still wanna do that. And keep it in braids.

  • UR BRAIDING METHOD WAS WITH WEAVE?!?! ...AT FIRST?

  • hmm i think her hair was fine anyway thats why the natural thing works for her

  • what do you use on your hair to hold your puff up?? it is sooo cute

  • Beautiful head of hair

  • Isn't it something how the unnatural things we do to ourselves and put in our bodies (nasty, greasy food), and all the bad vibes and emotions threaten to hold us back or even destroy us as women. I get you, even though I'm Caucasian. I used to dye my hair and it took YEARS to stop myself and wake up! It's all the same. You're a beautiful lady, and you KNOW it! That's real power and happiness, my dear. I love the videos that you make. They encourage and empower us. Much love!!

  • how did you get the curls in the pic at 1:16 it so cute?

  • OMG, where to start? You inspire me so much. With the weight loss and the going back to your natural hair I'm so proud of you! You remind me of myself because we're determined people. Your hair looks great. I love your curly texture. I can't wait to see my results.I'm currently transitioning and hope to cut off the relaxed ends once my thick texture comes back. I'm scared but with all the inspiration why not? [btw I'm 14] So keep doing what you do best. =]

  • @tweetybirdlove43 Its great you start realizing when u r young. I am 18 and which i decided when i was younger to have natural hair.

  • WOW i love this video slide show. I decided to go natural and enjoy seeing videos like yours. Thanks:-)

  • tHis is the first vid of yours that i ever watched, and now i'm hooked;)

  • Great video!

  • Look at all this beautiful natural hair, is it not amazing what our natural texture can become!

  • how did you take care of your hair whilst in braids?

  • @XxFolypopsxX lol ive just noticed your other video 'your hair care regime' silly me.

  • What method did you use to care for your hair in order to encourage new growth while it was braided?

    Much thanks =)

  • Thank you for sharing your hair story!!! you dont know how much you inspired me to take my natural journey! God Bless

  • I regret that I relaxed my hair last month. I went 7months without a perm and my hair grew sooo much, my only problem was I did not know which products to use on natural hair and I had no idea how to style it. I broke down and relaxed it myself-fell back into the wrap and now I regret it. My husband saw how much it had grown once it was straight again and he asked me "why would i put that crap back in my hair", now my hair is breaking off and I am sick about it! Thats it for real this time!!!

  • I feel as though there are times in which we need to break down in order to build ourselves up again. I really hope your new journey goes well. And I know how you feel, just keep your head up. If you need more support, watch different youtube videos and natural hair forum for the support. : )

  • your videos has inspired me to go natural, im 4mths relaxer free and i already have 4in's of growth, thank u!!

  • What products do you use in your hair...ive done my big chop and i want to reach lengths like yours

  • me too!!!! i cut my from the roots i didnt wait to grow out my perm. i did it back in october 09 and i have a mini afro now and idk what to use to make it grow. my hair gets very dry and have to moisturize it at least twice a day! idk what to do with it!

  • Great !

    so glad I subscribbbbeed :)

  • @kbenge89 why don't you tell her it worng. and if you do tell her relaxing hair weakens the hair too and makes it thinner too. I know. i stopped relaxing my hair

  • @kbenge89 horrible...her mother should learn how to do natural hair. There are people of all races studying and learning how to do it!

  • @kbenge89 you should really convince her to stop because i learned the hard way twice. I was really impatient and just didn't know how to care for my hair naturally so i permed it and had to start over twice. Now that i'm natural, my hair grows faster and its alot stronger. This happened when i was alot a in high school, your neice is only 8. I'm not saying relaxers are bad for everyone, but it is a risk depending on the type of your hair. However, no matter what natural is always healthier.

  • @kbenge89 are you white?

  • that s it not another relaxer! im about to chop this split end crap right off ! thanx gal!

  • Love this video, my hair loves braids as well, it grows really fast, but right now its too short to braid, well I can't catch it, but I will get it done real soon, its only been two weeks and a few days, but it seems like forever, I did my big chop on the 26 of december, my hair is hungry for braids,I will have it done soon, thanks for sharing this video with us.

  • inspiration video thanks...i'm starting with individuals..first pic lol..thanks

  • excellent vid, soror!

  • wow thats unique

  • I've spent the morning viewing most of your videos. Initially I stareed with the weight loss. Now I'm on the natural hair. I have been natural for 1 year but using wigs and braids. 2010 is my comming out year fully natural hair and braids only! You inspire me to loose my weight too...Thanks for being smart, uplifting and beautiful!!!!

  • you have good growth wild!

  • You go girl!

  • I've watched your videos and I'm really impressed. Did you cut your own hair or did you go to the beautition? Also, do you ever blow dry your hair or flat iron it since you've transitioned?

Lately, for my hair, I've been letting it air dry and whenever I feel like it, I use my InStyler to flat-iron it.

In one of your videos, you mentioned that you wash your hair once a week. Do you put new braids in every week too?

  • I've been trying to repair my daughters hair without cutting it (except to clip her ends), but like you, I'm tired of the two textures. I also use DooGro in her hair.I really miss her natural hair. Ironically, I enjoy fixing my son's hair more than I do my daughter's hair. His hair is like mine. My daugter's hair is thicker with tighter curls mixed with processed hair.

  • my daughter just tuned one and I am so thankful that I got on the Natural Hair train cuz now there is absolutely no way will I put a perm in my daughters hair with the knowledger I've gained on this Journey.

  • Oh my wow! your hair progress was and I'm sure still is going wonderful!!!! such an inspiration to see this while I'm in questioning of transitioning :)

  • It's been 4 months since I have been growing my hair natural. I'm going to try the braid you suggested and the products you suggested. And I will let you know how I make out. Thanks for the information. My hair sure is dry alot

  • I only being going natural for about 3 months and my hair is growing I'm going to do the braids you suggested and try the hair products you talked about. Thank you for your information.

  • I sooo love your videos thx!

  • calm down!!! I just made a statement - your hair doesnt look that kinky in the pic- truth is there are different grades of hair- some are hard to manage, like mine- thats why i said i dont think i can do w/o a perm -didnt say didnt like what go gave me just saying it is hard to manage-just like now i need a retouch & its so hard to comb. Thats not slavery mentality to say someones hair is a diff grade & more managable- didnt say they had better hair.

  • I used to think exactly like that ("hair grade") Believe me, natural hair is SOOO much easier to manage than relaxed! If your hair is as kinky and hard to manage as you say, it's probably because you're working with two different hair textures when that new growth comes in. When hair is relaxed, you have to constantly worry about wrapping, touch-ups, breakage, getting up extra early in the morning to flat iron, getting it wet, etc. All natural hair needs is moisture and protective styling.

  • I wish more people knew that. You have no Idea how many times I here women say "oh I can't do that to mey hair" or "I don't have good hair" and you are exactly right, it is the two textures that makes them frustrated and causes alot of breakage if they are not concerned about transitioning or just simply unknowledgable about their hair.

  • WOW BABE! x

  • u can tell u have a nice grade of hair from when u were little- now someone like me! my hair is so kinky i dont know if i can do w/o the perm : [

  • nice grade of hair??? look sis im 4b thtas like that nappyest kinkyist hair you can have and im natural and an't no one going to tell me i can do without a perm because my hair is kinky. Black ppl need to get this good hair bad hair thing in cheek cus its real sad that you can't stand the was God made you hair or think someone has a "better grade of hair" because its curlyer. slaver ended 200 years ago its time to let the mentality die with it

  • Could you straighten you hair right now (in it's natural state) and as long as it already is natural and show it on youtube how long it is when it is straightened, please!! You have such beautiful hair, just want to see how it looks

  • Do you ever straighten your hair???

  • One word: Healthy. Your hair looks healthy! :)

  • you have really inspired me to go for what i want in life. I am also a plus- size person and i really want to do this for me and no one else, no one else matters. I have also started to grow my hair natural also and i thought the big chop was gonna big very diffcult, but i realized to better myself i have to sacrifice. but just like you im going for the goal with my weight and my hair!!!! thank you for my inspiration in my own journey. Also i can tell u r from St. Louis. Me to

  • I'm so jealous of your hair! You look FIERCE :-) I wish that my mother knew how to properly care for our natural hair... I never would have wanted a relaxer if I only knew... My natural journey starts today!

  • i'm transitioning myself so i'm really diggin' the video girlfriend and i'm happy for you

  • your hair looks really good

  • ur hair grew really fast is ther ne thng special u did to make it grow or ur hair jus grow fast

  • your beautiful

  • What is the time length for this video??? When was your last perm, and when was the last picture on this video taken?

I just want to know how long it will take for my hair to get that kinda length...xoxo

  • think i'm in love with this beautiful woman

  • use castile soap to was hair and always moisturize(conditioners, leave-ins,olive oil) thats what i do. oh and take multi-vitamins that have biotin. your hair will grow in no time

  • You looked totally different when you were big at the 5th picture but you have made a great change in your weight and you have wonderful hair.

  • I just started transistioning about 3 months ago and feel this newness that I have never felt before. Going natural has inspired me to not only to take better care of my hair but start to take care of my whole self. I can't wait to chop it off and grow a afro puff!

  • Your hair and you are so gorgeous! I just big chopped in June and am excited about my hair journey.

  • you are absolutely adorable and the natural hair is so beautiful on you! I cannot wait until I have that kind of length! I BC'd in March 09.. it's growing but of course I want more lol

  • omgosh i love that hair style in 1:16 !

  • OMG you were soooo cute as a kid! Well, you're still cute now! haha

  • thanks I know you have too I just wish it was another way, lol!

  • Is there any way to trasition without cutting off your relaxed hair?

  • Comment removed

  • You may be able to grow your perm out until the point where the perm breaks off but that could take years. Try growing it and snipping the ends. Trimmed hair grows faster.

  • Comment removed

  • wooow! your hair really grew! cant wait 2 c how mine turns out!

  • wat is the meanin of "2 textures" ??

  • the meaning of two textures is wen....ur transintioning to natural hair....but mean while u still have the relaxed hair in ur head.....so basically...she got tired of having the relaxed hair still on her head and chopped it off

  • it means that the roots is natural hair and the ends is relaxed (straight) hair.

  • how long have you been natural?Your hair is gorgoeous!!!!Im 16 and i did the big chop in March 09 and im hoping my hair grows as fast as yours!!!!

  • your hair is lovely. currently i am growing my hair out and this video gave me more encouragement to go through my journey. My hair is also thick, but i am leaving in braids for a while to help with the rapid growth....keep the videos coming....we need to see a video of you styling your hair, that would also give me some tips, thanks......

  • ive decided to go natural again and im going do these braids to help me im also trying to lose weight and its amazing because the two things ive decided to do your helping me wit it through your videos thanks and i love your make up its amazing

  • I wish my hair had your curl pattern! My hair is really super coarse so it doen't have at nice curl pattern like that.

  • LOL at the pics with all the cookies 2 CUTE!

  • You're hair is beautiful

  • i dont know if you had a vid before on how to trim your hair natural id appriciate it thanks

  • a lot of people start transitioning and than give up because they get tired of dealing with the 2 textures IS THERE ANYBODY WHO STARTED TRANSITIONING AND DIDN´T GIVE UP ´TILL THE BITTER END AND HAD GOOD RESULTS?PLEASE RIGHT ME A MESSAGE WITH TIPS ,IM THINKING ABOUT TRANSITIONING AND I WANNA DO IT SOON SO PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE HELP A SISTA OUT

  • "bitter end" might be a relative term. guess it depends on the length of time you're talking about. i did for 15 months; did 4 cuts in august, the 4th being the final 1. @ that point, i really got tired of 2 textures, i had these pretty coils & curls from my twists that began to unravel...with the permed ends. it was horrible! after church on 8/31, i went to fantastic sam's so they could cut the rmng str8 hair. i didn't know how long i was going to transition, so i'd say 15 mos. was darn good!

  • OMG ur hair grew sooo much in a short period of time. i think what help the most is that u were eating healthy. i am so going to start, like now.

  • u hair is beautiful. I want to know if you just did the big chop, or if you ever had any damage. You look like you got the good hair anyway. You can tell you have nice grade of hair as it is, but what do you do if your hair is already damaged, and you have places where your hair is almost to the scalp, but other places are full? I am on the verge of cutting it all off, and starting over.

  • what is "good hair"?

  • Please get your "good hair" talk outta here.

  • Seriously, Ms Nacky Nack, I can say what I choose. U r not the CEO of you tube, so chill it, skillet. The sista got good hair, and don't trip as if you don't know what I mean. If you are african american, then you oughta know. If your hair don't require just water and grease to lay down, then your hair is not what most black folk call good hair.

  • I can't sit here and say nothing if I oppose your view and find it not only sad but harmful. Yes, she has good hair, but that's but that's what happens when it's properly taken care of. Different kinds of hair require different things in order to look good, but that has nothing to do with how "good" or "bad" their hair is. I realized when I wrote my comment that you would probably be offended, but frankly I think you knew that someone was eventually going to reply to you sometime.

  • however, I am not here to start static with other you tubers. I just think that people should be entitled to their own opinion. I am sure the young lady who video it is doesn't have a problem with me saying she has good hair. She's probably heard it before. Nope, I'm not offended, and I am proud of how well you articulate for your age. You might need your little tail whipped tho, with your lil young self. That's my motherly side talkin;-)

  • Perhaps I should have been less harsh in my wording, but it would have still meant the same thing, so I might as well be forward. I apologize if I did truly upset you, and perhaps you didn't mean what you said in the way that it looked like it meant, but you have to realize that throwing around phrases like "good hair" means a lot more, especially to black people, than just those two one-syllable words themselves. You can say what you choose, yes. We all can. That doesn't always make it right.

  • look hun, you're a young girl, and I have some years on you far as experience, but, I don't mind saying that she has good hair. I have been struggling with hair issues all my life, and yes, it is amazing what can happen when people take care of their hair. It's also amazing when a person don't have to drink loads of water for clear skin, because they naturally just have clear skin. Or eat all they want and never gain weight. Some people just blessed with the "goodness." That's all.

  • I did the big chop 6-15, so I hope to be where you are. Your hair is beautiful. My bc was a little more drastic than yours, and I had a lot of damage. but, you are very inspiring, and have beautiful hair.

  • I love your hair! Just did my BC on this past Monday and I love it. You can check out the vid on my channel if you like. I've had my hair short before but never as short as it is now! It takes some getting used to though because this is the first time that it's short and doesn't have a perm or texturizer on it. I'm lookin' foward to this journey. It's only been a few days and I'm researching product I potentially would like to purchase. Can't wait til its long enough to style!!!!!!!!

  • i have been watching your videos since yesterday. and let me say i think you are a beautiful strong woman and such an inspiration. god bless you! i want to loose 15-20 pounds, but cant get my eating habits on lock down...its terrible. i also want my hair to grow, i am tired of flat ironing it. I have natural curly hair, but very dry scalp, i think that, that is the reason why may hair doesn't grow, and i just think that longer curly hair would look nicer. what should i do.

  • Hey,

    Your such an inspiration.

What products did you use in your hair when you first started? Do you still use them?

What would you say is your biggest hair care NO-NO?

    Thanks x

  • I LOVE YOUR FREAKIN HURRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! i made the big chop on the 1st of march and i had a fade but its growing out. cant wait till i have a thick lucious ponytail like you. it was gorgeous.

  • i agree 100% I went natural for 5 years... then I put texturizer thinking it would make it soft, it completely permed my hair. i was depressed for months now i'm at square one

  • I'm so glad to see your video because I want to grow my hair but I didn't know how to. I'd like to know how long do you keep de braids in.

  • Go 'head gurl!

  • Did you only do the BC because you didnt like the different textures or did you get breakage that made you want to chop? I am thinking of going natural but I would like to retain my length. I have learned how to take care of my hair permed but wonder how much healthier my hair could be if I was natural. I have a short hair phobia lol! I also like to wear straight styles more than other styles so is this possible if I go natural?

  • wow ur hair is beautiful!

  • you have such beautiful hair!! i'v been natural for almost 1 1/2 years. my hair has grown alot. i BC'd after 4months cause i couldnt deal with the two textures anymore. ive kept my hair in protective hairstyles 100% of the time. this lady at my job told me i wasnt natural because i didnt wear my hair out all the time. i get 95% shrinkage and it is horrible. i plan on giving myself a very mild texturizer just to combat the shrinkage.

  • Texturizers are relaxers. I heard sometimes it gives you really straight parts and others are just curly. You may end up with two textures again.

  • shrinkage is what makes our hair so beautiful. you may want to try twist outs if you want to see your hair enlogated. texturizers are the same thing as relaxers.

  • dont get a texturizer

    might as well stay relaxed

  • Im glad i seen this video. because now im really going to go threw with it. im cutting all this hair off and going natural.. i will keep u posted.. Thanx

  • Again all I can say is Beautiful!

  • I been like having my hair braided for years and been natural with no significant growth because I didn't really take care of my hair. My mother is rough on my hair and I try to tell her to be gentle but she's ignoant and doesn't care. Its irritang.

  • My mother was kind of rough with my hair too and she wouldn't listen until I told her that she wouldn't be doing my hair anymore and then she finally listen. Make sure to moisturize your hair. That is what our hair needs to grow. Hope your mom finally listens.

  • I here you on that one. My mother told me that I use to take care of your hair when you were a child and your hair was fine! But children's hair and adult hair is different.

  • my hairwas natural til i turned 19. had purm for 2 yrs and now i want my natural hair back

ofcourse ill pass a hot comb through it when i want my hair straight but never again will i perm.

  • Hi, could you tell me how you created the hairstyle in 1:16. thanx

  • ditto.

  • am transitioning right now, i hope my hair looks like yours..its so healthy

  • braiding has done wonders for me also. great job!

  • hey girl, darn you good you got the hair and the weight on check .I'm so glad for you and its an insperation cuz im doing the life change program i like to call it.Keep it up and stay blessed

  • Hey girl!! I've watched all of your hair videos...and i was wondering if you ever will get the urge to straighten your hair just to see what it looks like?? i know most fully natural women don't do that bone straight thing but i just thought I would ask and see if you ever decide to...

  • thank you so much for these wonderful videos. I have recently started my weight loss regime and have also made the decision to transition back to my hair's natural state. I was wondering during the process of growing out your relaxer if you put extension in your hair or not? Thanks for all you do

  • Your really doin ur thing gurl, keep up the good work. <3

  • oh the website isnt working honey

  • a perm too my edges out like bald, i wanna go natural AND LOSE WEIGHT like you did. should i wait until dr. miracles grow my edges back to start natural, my hair is really short like 10 inches, how do i get it to grow

  • you could try wild hair growth oil....it's great!!! But even with that, you need time and patience. And I'm with you with the weight loss and even growing my hair out some more!

  • Okay First off I would love to start by saying YOU are now my hair idol!!!! My texture is a little tighter than yours, but seeing your hair inspires me so... .THANK YOU!!!

Next I was wondering how long do u keep in you Kinky Twist a/o braids? and (if it is not asking to much) could u post a video of how u take care of your hair while its in braids or at least message me and let me know how you take care of them, plz?

    Thanks so much Baby doll!!!

  • i wish my hair was as thick and pretty as yours! :) ...mine is so dang thin and frizzy! but i'm still tryin to love what God gave me!

  • Girl i am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo proud of you. I watched you weight loss videos and wasnot aware that you were also natural. WOw! your hair is absolutely beautiful. thank you so much for this. i a doing the same thing, you know braidin it until i reach my desired length so....thank you for the inspiration.

  • nice , what are you going to do once you reach you desired hair length , are you going to keep it natural?

  • inspiring

  • I love your hair! I've been transitioning since May of 2008, planning to BC on my birthday (Fall of 09)....if I can wait that long. Falling more and more in love with my hair everyday!

  • how often do you braid your hair and how do you care for it while in braids?

  • Most of the questions in comment box she answers in her fotki album/Or if u look at he Natural hair care vids on the left

  • I'm going to make you my natural hair idol after seeing this! lol

I've been transitioning for 7months now and I'm thinking about cutting off the relax ends and rocking my tiny winy fro underneath and waiting for that to grow out. I may get braides with those as protective styles as well...not sure yet!

I CANT WAIT TO BIG CHOP!!!

  • how often would you recommend I braid my hair? How much growth can I expect? any tips for added growth????

  • I went natural about a 13 months ago, and I too used braids to grow out my natural hair and I have been very successful with that. When I get my braids done, i usually leave them in for about a month and a half. And then I take them out and let my hair rest for about twoo weeks before putting in fresh braids. If you leave the braids in for a month and a half you will proably expect to have a little bit more than a half inch of growth. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NATURAL HAIR JOURNEY!

  • what products did you use to get ur hair to grow so fast hun? love this video

  • you are so beautiful and I love your hair. Ive been natural for about a year and I was getting frustrated with my lack of hair growth but, thanks to you I now have more hope and know that growing your hair natural is possible!

  • Thank you very much for tis video. I'm now inspired to turn natural, although my hair is VERY kinky. Im a 4c, the kinkiest type. You have really nice hair, what type is that??

  • thats the best type of hair =D it will look thick dark and beautiful!

  • Gurl you are just beauitful inside and outside. And your hair looks awesome!!!

  • OMG that is amazing I did the big chop 5/08 it is growing really fast. I am going to do more braid styles. Keep up the good work.

  • Phenomenal hair and phenomenal woman! Love this video and your gorgeous hair, thanks for sharing!

  • Nice hair!Sooo beautiful!

  • you have done a wonderful job on your hair...it is BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • I've rarely seen someone who has such a great energy...gurl, you are 2 fierce!!!! My hair texture is a lot like yours when natural and I think you've inspired me. Also the weight loss vids are truly inspiring. God has blessed you with the gift of touching others lives. Don't stop being an inspiration simply by living the way you do.

Peace and blessings. (BTW, I'm loving the shadows!!!!)

  • I LOVE this video...it's so motivating! Your hair looks Fabulous and you are so beautiful! Go ahead girl! :-)

  • i love your vids. what is your goal? (you said 7 mnths to goal) ill have to try your braiding method. i just bcd 11/29 to about 2 1/2 inches. my hair is EXTREMELY coily (pen spring to be exact). does constant braiding change the natural pattern? also, how long do your braids stay in each time?

    thanks again!

  • what did u do to your hair when you had your braids in?..I want to go natural as well but want to know how to care for my hair before i do.

  • How do you prevent breakage and hair loss using extensions so often?
