  • This guy's a gimmick to me. No doubt it requires talent.

  • i love the sounds and music!!!

  • OH GOD I WISH YOU'D GOTTEN INTO CANADA!

  • I don't get how the fuck he is making so much noise with broken glass, please explain

  • There's a lot of effects and feedback involved I believe.. but i'm still not entirely sure

  • it looks like there's a contact microphone attached to the glass and effects pedals strung around his waist.

  • @dayve57 ...well basically, as i understand, the glass itself is amplified with a contact (small) microphone which is then running thru effects (...much like what might be used for guitar, etc)...so the glass is the sound source which is amplifying sounds that mr. Yeldham emits w/ his mouth....

  • Hey Mr Yeldham you are always overseas! Why don't you come home and play some shows! ...PLEASE!

  • okay this is just. urm. very. shall i say acousticly shattering.

  • but i never went to artschool?

  • art school dropout

  • It's not enough he has a great performance hook like that -- the stuff even SOUNDS good. drkilljoy, thanks for the good long video and the hilariously apt description. Just earlier tonight I tried to explain Yeldham's performance to someone... if only I'd realized that's all I needed to say!

  • Thanks man, I appreciate the words and there isn't much else you can say... just have to experience it for yourself.

  • where was this one shot i cant remember it?

  • Seattle, in the 1412 gallery (I think). I can't remember the exact date but it was summer of 2005.
