  • these picks are shit! GO BUCKS, WHY AREN'T WE IN THE ROSE BOWL WITH OREGON, O THATS RIGHT, WE ARE!

  • im an ALABAMA fan you ass and guess where we are.......................

    THE BCS NAITONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

    GO OREGON

  • BANDWAGON FAN! I bet last year you rolled with Florida!!!!

  • look at my profile you dumb shit, i LIVE,WAS BORN,RAISED IN ALABAMA. this prediction even has alabama in the national title

but if your asking if I am an SEC person then yes, after Bama lost, i was cheering for UF in the National championship

HOW YOU LIKE THE ASS WHOOPING FLORIDA PUT ON YALL A WHILE BACK, AND LSU .............. HA HA HA HA

HATER HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

  • Sorry to rain on everyone's parade, but I'm predicting Texas vs Bama in a BIG brawl, southern style. I don't care who comes out on top from that matchup, just better not be Texas vs Florida, I'm sick of his holiness.

  • LOL

  • boise state would never get to the NC, West Virginia would not win by 3 over Texas, Oklahoma would put up 40+ against VT.

  • boise isnt in my national championship

WV was just my big east pick, and there has to be an upset some were.

and bullshit, ever time OU meets a real defence they struggle.

  • The thing about both USC and Ohio State, one loss pretty much takes them out of the National Title. And since they play each other one of the two(most likely OSU) will not be able to make. Both the Pac 10 and Big 10 are not strong enough confrences to make up for the loss.

  • not the trojans i mean look who they lost

  • A young QB plus a young defense... inexperience plus 3 brutal road games means 3 losses in my opinion...New Pac-10 champ this year...Oregon or Cal... Cal has the better team in my opinion but they are playing a very talented oregon squad at oregon...so who knows hopefully the bears come out on top

  • I am a Bama fan, but I don't think 2009 is our year. We have a very solid team though. I think we will finish the regular season 10-2 playing in the Cotton Bowl.

  • Great picks. I'm not too sure on the Boise State pick though. Maybe replace them with a Big 10 team (Ohio State or maybe a long shot Iowa).

  • i think Ohio state will have one loss, with all the NON-BCS stuff going on and BSU sched, an undefeated BSU gets in over a 1 loss tOSU or Iowa

  • this is the worst pre bowl pick i have seen

  • lol boise will never go to a bcs bowl by playing in the MAC agaist shittty teams or WAC nobody cares

  • they already have done gotten to the BCS by playing in the WAC

  • So the Big Ten would have been actually one of the best conferences, but with Michigan down it slides every game down a level. I think next year with Michigan somewhat back the Big Ten will go .500 or better and eventually will be back to where they were.

  • I think the Big Ten did bad last year because of Michigan having a down season. Had they been their regular 10 win team then the whole Big Ten shifts down a level. You have the Big Ten still losing their BCS games but under that it completely changes. Michigan playing Georgia, and they would have won. MSU playing South Carolina and winning. Iowa playing Missouri, and winning. Northwestern playing FSU, and probably winning. Then you have Wisconsin playing in the Motor City bowl, and winning.

  • I see it this way. ~Rose Bowl~ Ohio State 34-USC 21 ~Fiesta Bowl~ Oklahoma 37-Mississippi 13 ~Orange Bowl~ Cincinatti 28-Miami 27 ~Sugar Bowl~ Iowa 21-Virginia Tech 17 ~National Championship~ Texas 24-Florida 10
  • your match -ups are mest up

SEC always gets the Sugar Bowl, its a contract thing

  • Not always- if they get a team in the national championship, they can pick whatever teams they want as long as it doesn't violate any other BCS contracts. National Championship Florida 31, Texas 20 Sugar Bowl Alabama 17, Penn State 13 Fiesta Bowl Boise State 27, Oklahoma 24 Orange Bowl Virginia Tech 23, West Virginia 10 Rose Bowl USC 34, Ohio State 24
  • if the SEC gets a team in the NCG, the sec runner up is declared the BCS's SEC champion.

THE Sugar bowl has a contract stating that they get the top SEC team, just as the other bowls have there tie ends. the only floater team is the Big East champion

  • Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks.

  • They would never match up USC and Ohio State because they play each other in the regular season.

  • if they win there conferences and dont get in the national championship

they would have to play in the rose bowl aginst each other agian

  • If they both win their conference and don't go to the national championship like I predict, then they have do. It's not a choice, the Rose Bowl gets the Big 10 and Pac 10 champions automatically unless one's in the national championship.

  • I WAS responding to huskerboy1235

  • Hey they changed the BCS this summer

  • dsjj251 what do you mean they changed the BCS?

  • The Rose Bowl is now obligated to select a non BCS team over the pac 10 or big 10 runner up if its champion is in the BCS national championship game.

(i.e.) if a team like boise who was left out of the BCS were to finnish above the pac 10 runnner up in the polls(like they did but with ACC champ) the Rose Bowl would select them over that runner up.

  • OK. Thanks for telling me.

  • might not have a choice

  • I don't think Bama won't go to the NC game- I don't even think they'll go to a BCS Bowl. I have them in the Capital One, kind of like the Texas Tech of 2009.

  • woah woah. capital One Bowl is the #3 SEC bowl.

people are jumping on the Ole Miss ban wagon just a little bit too much now. and LSU just isnt ready.

  • Isn't the Capital One Bowl the #1 bowl for non-BCS SEC teams? Or is it the Cotton Bowl?

  • it depends, the SEC doesnt really distiguish between 2-5.

capital just gets the first pick after the BCS. , then outback-cotton-and chick fil-a pick from there sides.

like the Cotton usually picks a team from the west, Outback from east, and the Chick gets the team remaining with the best record

  • Oh and one more thing, Pryor doesn't care about pressure at all in stadiums, he's even asked teams to make it louder for him, so there's that also.

  • Oh my gosh. These picks are pathetic. Where's Ohio State? The Pac Ten will only have one team in the BCS. SEC will have two. Big Ten two. Big 12 two. BCS Buster one. Big East two. Sorry, but not including Ohio State is wrong. And Alabama and USC will NOT go to the NC because Alabama is... well... Alabama and USC has no good starting QB. Sorry. Bad picks. :P

  • Logiclly USC has the easiest road to the NCG,OSU has the hardest of all these teams outside of bama(they got USC)hey go to PSU), . Florida will lose to bama in the SEC championship game.

the only teams you could logiclly tell me im wrong about is bama and florida

BUT IM A BAMA FAN SO THEY STAY IN THE BCS NCG

  • Happy Valley doesn't intimidate Ohio State at all, look at the numbers the last few times they've been there, and now Pryor has some fast receivers and his passing has improved over the spring.

The Big Ten champ will be Ohio State, or a share with Penn State, but OSU will beat Penn State so they go to the Rose bowl.

The Pac-10 champ is unknown but USC returns only 2 starters on defense and their starting QB has only thrown 4 passes in his career.

IMO USC goes 10-2 this year at best.

  • your going by fan imput. im going by ranking, schedule, returning starters, 08 record vs 09 sched.

and every year we say the same thing about USC and every year they have one loss.

  • USC has never lost this much at once. 2 out of 11 returning starters on defense, and the difference between now and then is that their old QBs actually had playing time.

Ohio State is favorable by far in the big ten, a better offense overall than last year, defensive line has improved, the only worry on Defense is the CB position, if you only look at the returning starters and not the newcomers than your system is flawed.

  • USC is still ranked higher in every preseason poll than ohio state.

and even though OSU is favored to win the BIg Ten, its not by that much, and they have to go to happy Vally.

And Michigan state might surprise a few to

  • pre-season rankings don't matter. Look it's not b/c I'm a Buckeye fan that I think OSU will prevail over USC... here are my reasons: 1.) under Tres OSU is 46-1 at home against non-conference teams, And the shoe is a tough place 2 play! 2.) Experinced Pryor (big 10 freshman of the yr. who led the big 10 is qb rating) vs inexperienced Aaron Corp or Barkley. 3.) OSU's better recruiting classes for 2008 and for 2009. 4.) OSU gets back all of its d-line.along w/ all special teams returners

  • Whoever says Oregon State will win the PAC-10 you are wrong! It will be the Oregon Ducks vs whoever wins the Big Ten!! Penn State loses the WRs but Clark is coming back!! GO DUCKS AND WE ARE PENN STATE!!

  • i hope he can tell the future

  • LMAO always usc. They dont even have a good QB anymore. Ofcourse they have a sht schedule. But come on reall all the way? Alabama losing to Utah true colors come out of defense, Sry but unfortunatley it looks like a rematch this year with Florida and OU

  • ALABAMA is IN the BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

  • these r the worst picks i have ever seen... u might as well put western kentucky in the national title game vs Notre Dame

  • funny, put some constructive criticism them, tell me why they are bad dont just say it. but Be honest, the only thing most people would change is to FLIP bama and Florida Put OSU in over PSU.

other than that its pretty much Right

  • have you forgotten that the Big East champion plays in the Orange Bowl against acc champ?

  • The Big East Champion has an Automatic BCS birth , But does not have a specific Bowl

remember, WV has played in The Sugar Bowl and Fiesta,Pitt played Fiesta

  • Yeah, but most of the time Big East champ plays ACC champion in Orange Bowl.

  • No, the big east and acc champs have only played each other 3 times in the 10 year history of the BCS

    09, 07, and 04

  • Oh my bad.

  • ND will go 5-7 next year.. 6-6 maybe. 7-5 would be LUCK!

  • all they need is a couple of upsets and they could get to 9 wins.

  • i just dont see it.. not this year.. maybe in a few or even next year..

  • ND has sucked for a while but I think the way they played their bowl game that they will be back next year. Plus they arent as young as they have been and they have had great recruiting. Plus on the BCS website it shows the BCS Conferences and Notre Dame has their VERY OWN CONFERENCE according to the BCS... plus CBS only plays ND games and no one elses and they play all the Notre Dame games too... Plus everyone has a lovefest for Notre Dame anyways. Thats why I put Notre Dame as my AT-Large bid.

  • I see what you mean now, after doing a little research, I see that USC might not be the team I was told it would be.

Also i forgot ND only need 9 wins to get to a BCS

right now I wanna put USC in the Rose bowl, Texas in the championship ND in the Orange, OU in the fiesta, and drop Oregan cause there wont be a spot left

  • ya but dont listen to me cause apparently i dont even watch college football. lmao

  • I was a little harsh, but you had bama in cotton bowl.

If bama doesnt make it to the sec championship, and florida beats "who ever"

then bama would more than likely get the BCS nod over UGa and either LSU or Ole miss because they would have lost to florida

  • i just dont think Bama is gonna do as well because they lost their QB Wilson. And I think after the Utah game that Bama was kind of a bust. But I do like Nick Saban but I also think Les Smiles (lol) is a good coach no matter how much I hate him. Ole Miss will be good also but theres so many good SEC teams that Ole Miss wont make a good bowl. I also like Arkansas cause they have had great recruiting and had a rebuilding year last year. Tennessee might also be a sleeper in the SEC.....

  • Just my point JP wilson, was a bad QB, his numbers look good cause most bama QB's only last 2 seasons he had 3.

oh and Utah, as much as people want to say bama should have blown them out just look at the acual players.

Bama and Utah were evenly matched, atleast until Andre smith was told he couldnt play

after that even i thought Bama was going to loss, not by as much but i did think they would loose

  • I've never liked JP Wilson but he was a winning QB... at least he was his Senior year i mean. But hes gotta be better than some freshman who is probly going to start who has NO experience so I think Bama will be in the rebuilding process this year. But I do see them going to the Cotton Bowl and playing Oklahoma State.. but I think OSU will beat them too. I like Bama but I just dont see them competing for the SEC Title or a BCS Spot... sorry bro.

  • I dont think Georgia will be good at all because the SEC is so good and they lost Moreno and Stafford. But they do have A.J Green who I think will be almost as good as Bama's Julio Jones. Also watch out for Oklahoma State. They have the whole team coming back including Kendall Hunter the RB and Dez Bryant is now the best WR in college football for OSU also. But i think that because OU and Texas are better than them that because only two teams can make a BCS game from the same conference. so idk.

  • TCU is a possibility but they lost that DT on defense. Plus Cincy won the Big East last year and has everyone coming back. Bama lost their QB and some defense but i love that Jones WR kid. OU has Sam Bradfrod... Florida has Tim Tebow, and Texas has Colt McCoy coming back. but i like how u put VT over Miami cause i was debating about Miami, FSU and VT in the ACC. Cause FSU has that QB coming back. Ohio State has Terrell Pryor but they lost their Defense so idk about the Big 10......

  • not bad.. but i didnt put penn state as anything cause they lost their WR and QB. and i picked Oregon State over Oregon because they have their whole team returning especially that RB. he was a beast last year as a Freshman. and I picked Miami cause they are young but more experienced this year.. and USC lost their whole defense and their QB. But WV lost Pat White and has a new coach with no QB. I didnt pick Boise because they lost that RB Ian Johnson. And Utah lost everyone and Hawaii is young.

  • They don't lose their QB, Darryl Clark is returning for Penn State.
