  • Dolboebunden banana's blitzkrieg!

  • 8:44 .... 4 dead 2 injured? Something doesn't sound right about that. I thought those helis held more than 6 people, unless all the rest survived without a scratch on them. wtf?

government trying to download the disaster.

  • @14sJakeB190 how are they down playing a human error? if you listen to the guy after he said they landed too hard.. 2 choppers hit hard but where ok the other hit very hard causing a crash killing 4 injuring 2, it doesn't say how many where in each chopper.

  • @Dogmeat1950 lol woops I said download. Yeah I meant downplay.

But normally there are more injuries. Even in minor plane accidents people get injured. Maybe they all got luck or there weren't may soldiers on the other choppers?

  • @14sJakeB190 well, sometimes airplane/chopper crashes happen and ppl are just find.

also take into account that military choppers the pilot and co-pilot have shocks on theirs seats so if it crashes they have less of a chance of dying.

  • @Dogmeat1950 Yeah maybe.

  • this whole mission is a little fishy... u dont they have proper maps????

  • what a fkin disaster!

  • waw those students look really young :>...there only like ,50 years old!!!

  • @greenzno1 Besides the point this operation was 30 years ago.

  • God bless America, and our military !!!

  • chuck norris should be here... haha

  • For a moment i thought that the Helicopters had been downed by Cuban SAMs like the U2 spyplane was.

  • Our troops should have left those students in the hands of the enemy. Less hippies, more freedom and democracy in the world.

  • Why didn't they just bomb the Cuban base?

  • @SmellyJunkie As far as I'm aware, the Cubans (the and other foreign combatants) delibrately didn't have a central base when they were in Grenada. Their mission was to covertly raise an insurrection among the Grenadians themselves. And only then, would they send in their armies. But the Americans invaded too fast and foiled their plans.

  • @SmellyJunkie didnt u watch... the main objective is rescued students

  • @AnimeGod1995 I don't really know why would they rescue the students if the Cubans were not hurting them or anything in fact 2 other universities over there were Cuban-Grenadian.

  • @zerocker45 well its like your kids is in danger... (Potential danger) would u rather let em be where they are knowing that is not 100% safe? Or would you rather get em out of there and will be 100% safe?

  • I guess after their ass kickin they got in Vietnam US had a new sense of purpose

  • @meringandan You mean when the hippies made us pull out because politics when we were destroying the dinks with our big guns and giant planes?

  • @SecuR0M Oh so you think hippies were running the government? America was humiliated and sent home in defeat. You say we were destroying them with big guns and big planes?, sounds like the same ignorance that has left america broke and defeated in Iraq after 9 years of battle, must be the hippies fault. ooops speaking of hippies your hippie Mom just made your macaroni and cheese dinner with sunny delight drink, come up from the basement, and don't keep mommy waiting.

  • @meringandan Who got the ass kicked in Viet Nam?Name one single Battle US lost in Viet Nam?The politicians lost, the US armed forces did not.

  • @submariner200 And the military is a tool of the politicians to project government policy.

may have won battles but lost the whole war so ultimately the US lost

  • @meringandan The military is not a tool of the politicians in a democracy, when have you seen the US Army or the US Marines beating American Citizens and torturing them like communist countries like Cuba and China do?The politicians lost the war not the Armed forces, they lost the war not the American people much less its military.

  • @submariner200 By the way neither in China or Cuba people are beat or tortured. I am Cuban and my father was part of a SAM brigade during the Cold War in Cuba and i lived in Cuba until i was 19 and i never saw anyone being beat up by the police unless they commited a crime... I am not defending communism but don't say things that are not true. The only injustice that happens in Cuba is that if you say that Castro is a bad president or so you go to jail.

  • @zerocker45 Really?Go to Boniato prison in Cuba among other prisons and see how many cubans are and have been tortured for decades,Go to my chanel I would play a video where you can see your beloved cuban police is shown beating a young man.

  • @submariner200 you forgot the battle of saigon, the tet offensive....US lost in vietnam....the vietcong took the US embassy...and americans evacuated throwing their helicopters off their aircrafts carriers to make room for those evacuating....I call this a defeat, total defeat

  • @HubertWolfen Who won Tet offensive Viet Nam del Norte! WOW! look in history who won the Tete offensive, who won Khen San?Who won at Hue?Who won hamburger hill?Who won a Shau valley?North Viet nam?WOW! In 1975 when the so call embassy was taken US was not even in the war anymore!

  • @submariner200 ok , if you put it that way, France won the Algerian war ! same defeat, won militarly but lost politicaly. to win a war you have to win on both these fronts. politics is even more important.

  • @HubertWolfen Politics is more important to people that are involved in politics, the soldiers obbey orders, the politicians dicate policy, now there is a difference between a tactical victory and a strategic victory you can not win both at the same time, either you win one and lose the other. Now the question is what has cuba accomplished in 52 years of repression?

  • @HubertWolfen after world war 2, the media were on the communist side, every colony had to be "liberated".

  • Weren't the soldiers in Grenada wearing PASGT Helmets?

  • @360Nomad We were the first units in the Army to be issued the Kevlar helmet. No steel pots went with us.

  • @LordSnow69 Were you a paratrooper?

  • @360Nomad Co. C / 2-505 82nd ABN

  • @360Nomad yes they were
