  • little trivia about sulfur: burning sulfur and adding it to water makes sulfuric acid. the fumes can also combine with water to make sulfuric acid. this can happen in your lungs.

  • Interestingly, SO2 does have anti-microbial properties, so it probably did help provide some protection from disease in fumigated houses.
