Hula makes all women, regardless of their shape, their size, or their coloring look BEAUTIFUL. Very few other dance forms can do that. Actually, I think that Hula just shows the inner beauty of all women.

@countrygirl96712 just goes to show how professional this halau is, You hear the announcer mentioning the technical problems, so he tries to take up time by thanking all who support hula. You have to think if you were up there dancing, what would you do? All they can do is wait till ready, and when it starts it's like nothing phased them. They still won.

But this is very subtle and full of grace (which is hula)-Auana.

That is what I mean by a cross of cancan and hula.
