  • stop hating and if u already no how to do this then why the fuk are u watching this man

  • @thelaptopfreek Nice comment!

  • This tutorial is useless. It shows nothing that the HELP file doesn't already have. How about helping people figure out why the damn software won't let you drag and drop without it changing the duration times of everything you already put in? I should be able to adjust durations by dragging. Putting in duration times for everything is nuts when you're trying to create a music video with 50 photos and transitions in between. The clips need to be individually adjustable for length and then joined.

  • does it really take 7 minuets to explain how to put a transition effect, its a good video i just find it funny how 14830 people dont know how to do the simplist thing ever.

  • Hi, thanks for the great video!

Problem: The fade transition I chose defaults to a length of 0.16 seconds. When I set the duration for 4 seconds, it goes back to 0.16. I've tried numerous times, but the duration I choose won't stick (yes, I click on "ok").

Any idea why the program is ignoring my input?

    Thanks!

  • @CattyCatRanch,

Oh, I tried the clock thing - it didn't help. And adding a small transition elsewhere didn't help. Any other ideas?

    TIA!

  • @CattyCatRanch,

I learned elsewhere that the transition length allowed depends on clip length & can't be altered.

Here's how I worked around that limitation: I produced the video without any transitions, then imported the video back in. I added a few transitions, keeping the clips long. Then I produced again. Had to produce a few times to get all the transitions in. The whole process didn't take long, but my final video is short.

  • Nevermind, i got it to work!! xD

  • @Runningfoot2009O can you help me?? please

  • @YousseffM Just go to the bottom left corner and you'll see something that looks like clocks. Click on the bigger clock then you'll see your clips have grown and you can drag either side of the transition to the wanted length.

Sometimes the clips will move away from the other clips. I don't know WHY it does this but it's annoying. I usually just add fade to the previous clip but extremely small so there's no visible difference and the next transition you add it will stay in place.

  • @YousseffM Sorry if that makes no sense, Lol. I tried.

  • I tried to do this but it won't let me modify the duration for my effect! D:

  • Whats is named effect in 0:56?

  • try that 4 a music video......its hard work my dude
