  • wht does the congressional record say?? he might be sincere.

  • Doesnt matter. The healthcare reform is dead on arrival in the Senate. Senate wont pass anything with abortion being paid for with tax dollars, and when it gets back to compromise with the house bill, the 30 liberals have indicated that they wont allow it to pass. The moderates wont let it pass with it in the house. So its pretty much dead over the infighting by liberal and moderate democrats! $1.2Trillion is outrageous for anything! Dems spent more in 9months than previous 8 years of BUSH

  • If liability is viewed as an asset, well that your opinion its either illuminati are stupid or you are too smart.Tell that to David Rockerfellar and Evelyn Rothschild. They are greedy but definitely not stupid.who else you think blew off JF Kennerdy head Ya Ya not "mafia"but noble "gentlemen.'"

  • greed thats all, illuminatti and slaves

  • Thanks to the Illuminati, I was able to get a loan for the home of my dreams. You should chill out and write a thank you letter to the illuminatti for all the good they've done.

What are you offering besides a bunch of paranoid sniveling.

  • ya big deal!!!!!

  • Just what I suspected. You are no better than the paranoids sniveling about the organized underworld of the "mafia".

HINT: People are too fucking greedy and stupid for some worldwide conspiracy.

  • @BarkingBobby You are one of the 15% that 'for now' benefit so that you will support they criminal actions. You will not keep the house much longer and by now you are already in trouble I am sure. I guess you also no long have your Barry Soetoro work force. If they paid the people each would have a house and the bankers would have still benefited but that is not what was to happen. You are just a SHEEPLE. Sheeple101Com

  • Behind the backs, so you admit there is conspiring members. It is no longer conspiracy theory as with facts it becomes truth. Conspiracy Facts are what we are now dealing with. At the beginning, before proof, it was theory. Now it is just plain old criminals conspiring against the people.

  • Every politician and every political group takes money from some group. Democrats take truck loads of money from labor unions. Why didn't you attack them when they supported the bailout of the auto industry?

Every time you attack a Democrat's integrity for finding compromise you set liberalism back because nothing will get done at all.

  • without both wings the eagle cannot fly. Left and Right as still the same eagle. Streak of Streakcom

  • Coming from Norway... it is unbelievable that you allow this corruption. No, don't cover it up, this stuff is down right corruption. Is there anyone in US politics that isn't bought? Even the presidents are bought because it costs a trillion dollars to run a election.

In Norway it is not even legal to run politically biased TV ads. Oh and your news media.... a disgrace!

""It's difficult to make a man understand something when his paycheck depends on his not understanding it."

    -Upton Sinclair

  • I'm from sweden and I share your exact view. The U.S has become incredibly corrupt.

  • He's a friend of Obama - of course he is corrupt. But at least he is not a slime ball Turk.

  • Awesome!

  • Yes we should make all lobbying ilegal but that will never happen because there´s too much money involved. The corporations make sure to line the pockets of republicans and democrats but most of the health care graft goes to the conservatives. After living in Scandinavia I found it to be very honest in all public dealings. Keep getting the word out and maybe people will start thinking outside of the box.

  • @jotunPIKK yes but that ingores one special thing .. freedom of speech.

  • @jotunPIKK - i think most australians feel the same way as you. watching american media is an exercise in futility. why don't the citizens do something? they should make it easier for independant politicians to run. america is a huge mess and it's dragging the rest of the world down. these people are the least qualified to hold "super-power" status. Norway or Australia would make better super powers! it's a shame we are only comparatively small.

  • Tom Daschel was compromised and Obama knew it when he picked him for the cabinet post. Its business as usual; not change we can believe in.

  • republicans are the same as democrats, scammers

  • You're right.

The prez is owned by the guys that run the Federal Reserve.

  • the republicans have done their best to privatise the military to just look at blackwater

  • Dennis Kucinich should have had Daschel's Job. Kucinich is 10 times the man Daschel is.

  • This is a prime example of why John Thune beat Tom Daschle in the election. Daschle screwed the democrats in his home state until even the democrats wouldnt vote for him. Thune didnt beat Daschle in the election. Daschle beat himself by screwing those who voted for him. Daschle always had his hand out for anyone willing to buy his services. He was as easy as the gal of the night on a street corner.

  • i hate john thune but i would have vote for him just to hit tom over the head. these are american traitors. these democrats need to leave the party and justbe republican thats the party of corrurption

  • You are right. The only thing worse than a republican is a democrat that votes like a republican. Its time to clean house and get rid of them.

  • I feel sorry for any american who can't afford heathcare. The rest of the western world has free healthcare, if you get sick you simply go to a doctor! for free!

    Why wouldn't you want that?

  • This is the problem with compromising in *any* way with Single Payor by providing a *compomise* like the Public Option .. As we now can see, any compromise just gets more compromised until *nothing* changes. Dashle, Dole, and the other RINO/DINO's that got us where we are, actually *benefit* from INCREASING the share of GDP getting sucked into this behemoth rent-seeking sector known as the healthcare industry.

  • It's time for America to grow up and join the rest of the industrialized world by getting universal health care for all americans. The majority want it, and the majority should rule. To those people who oppose universal health care: you seem awfully sad and angry. Here's a great solution: LEAVE! I think you'd be a lot happier in a central american country where Capitalism reigns supreme. And don't worry about your safety or the poverty you encounter. The free market fixes everything!

  • Ok, and the illegal aliens covered right? Plus the 2 million new immigrants per year who havent paid into the system, right? And the illegal and guest worker anchor babies...they are covered right? How many trillions is this REALLY gonna cost us?

Look, the goverment is terrible and runniing things...besides, they say we might not survive financially anyway because we are so deep in debt...and now you want a healthcare system paid for by the taxpayer?

    Nah, never gonna happen.

  • Right now one of the major contributing factors of our high health care costs are the uninsured. Whether they be American working citizens or illegal immigrants. If you're asking me whether or not I'd rather have said illegal go to a doctor when he had a case of the sniffles and a sore throat. Get a prescription for a generic antibiotics. "Or" as is today, wait until he gets really sick, goes into a hospital emergency room with pneumonia, costing many, many magnitudes more money... I'll take #1.

  • ok then tell the vets and the congressmen to go private. also lets get rid of medicare. by the way medicare cost are riasing slower then private healthcare.

so stop spitting mottos that are not even true. the government can run things

    THEY RUN OUR MILITARY MORON

  • They MAKE military do things that are wrong.

We need to squeeze the govt out and replace it with a system that is run "By the People."

Just to obey the Constitution our country was founded on.

  • i agree with that

  • baby turds is a better name for this dribble

  • Supposedly, Daschle is a member of the Bilderberg group:

    watch?v=JbC_IUvbKCw&NR=1

  • How much makes it a weapon of mass destruction?

  • Well, if you have like to know experts say sarin is more than 500 times as toxic as cyanide. They found them in Iraq in 155-millimeter artillery rounds. (5-17-2004).

Mustard Gas is not as deadly, they also found them in Artillery Shells, I don't think anyone has produced anysince WW1 & WW2. Iraq had old stock piles. They slaughter the Kurds with them.

  • that we do. DAMN kurds.

  • what has obama done in his first year thats so wrong? put the wrong kind of mustard on his burger and been a little flimsy on his deliverence of his campaign promises, i agree it sucks but what president didnt flake a little on their promises? politics in the world blows but having a respectable, intelligent and open minded politician as president of the most powerful country on the planet, is just one step towards a new way to govern and live.

  • Do not let this die until all people have health insurance. The current system is broken. The way to fix it is to do something, not ignore it. Health insurance for all, not just the rich.

  • We're Not Scared of Real Health Care Reform

  • Just don't get disappointed because the POTUS doesn't have a telepathic link to your expectations...

  • Kick te corrupt bastard out!

  • tOM IS LOOKING OUT FOR hIMSELF AND HIS FAMILY.

  • when have the democrats said that they were for the surge?? and btw obama already made a plan to get out of iraq in 2010 or 2011, i cant remember right now, look it up and you will find it

  • That single issue Tom refers too, is several times more important than all the others combined.

He has chickened out, the only question is why?

  • Like Jesse Ventura said, the Demo-crips and the Re- Blood-licans are all bought and paid for by the corporations. Prime example right here. Time for a third party revolution!!!!!

  • Thank God Daschle didn't pay his taxes.

  • I kinda want to see the democrats crash and burn for schadenfreude reasons now. If we're not getting single payer fuck it what else have we got to lose.

  • screw this bipartisan bullshit. Make your changes and see if they work already

  • they wont. But once they are starrted they can never be stopped. We the people will not allow it.

    Sorry.

  • you the person. You were paying attention in the last election weren't you?

  • I liked Tom Daschle and I originally thought he was a good choice to head HHS and I was dissapointed when he withdrew. However now I'm dissapointed at him for his position. He may as well become a Republican and he can take Ben Nelson with him as well since he opposed Obama's plan before he even had the chance to present it.

  • That's one thing that BURNS MY ASS about Democrats..they're so damn SPINELESS! When Republicans had control of the house and Senate, they ran their fuckin policies through, and didn't give a damn about the Democrats! Now the Democrats have control of the House and Senate, and they are asking for "Bi-Partisanship?!?! How fuckin weak! That means thay they will vote against their own party, because Republicans may not agree with them! FUCK!

  • Yes, and when the dems got control Pelosi said "we cant get the troops out of Iraq, because the GOP has the white house."

    What is Pelosi's excuse now?

Dems are liars. Obama will keep our troops in Iraq....

  • Peace keeping. To restore order, hes done with the "liberators" bullshit

  • No, when Bush ordered the surge it was also for "peacekeeping", but the dems were against it. Now the dems are suddenly for it, and Obama is keeping 50,000 troops in Iraq as soldiers but "non combatants". What the fuck is a non combatant? The terrorist will see ANY troops on Iraqi land as unholy, and it will cause them to keep attacking.

Dems use the war issue to get in power, then they do the same thing the republicans did!

    Throw them out in 2010!

  • I'm gonna stop reading comments on TYT videos cause of partisan fuckwittedness like this. I'm done with it. XD

  • dude its fun to skull fuck some of these idiots. read through and find someone who you can tell doesnt know shit, look up a few things. within 5 minutes some 30 redneck will get his ass handed to him. try it :D

  • was also, their was other intentions. fact is that their are far more terrorists with far more power in afghanistan than there ever was in iraq. we removed a dictator, yep thats good, can you guess how many more there are in the world who have commited far more crimes than saddam? we looked for "weapons of mass destruction", no matter how many theories why we didnt, the fact is we didnt find ANY, not to mention bush and his "regime" violated thousands of human rights for absolutely nothing!

  • we're gonna get real progressive democrats in the house and senate. the democrats that go against whats good for the people arent real democrats and should never represent our party

  • Wow the American system is really screwed up time to join the Romans and British Empire.

  • cenk needs some balls man, or at least a cohost who says what he actually wants to say

  • doles still alive???

  • spineless democrats

  • General secretary of The USA party Basrack Obama Will smash the Capitalists with his mighty fist of labour !

he needs to nationalize buissnesses buy force not with economical means so those capitalists know whos the boss ...

  • bush's stimulus bill was larger. Let me guess you are just as mad as him, right?

  • Holy shit I didn't know Bob Dole was still alive. He must be 108 years old now!!!

  • You will not like socialized medicine. Those who can leave England and come to the US or India for good health care. It will take months to get a surgery or you won't be able to get certain meds and when you hit 65 or above you may get cut off completely.

  • No. We do not compromise on healthcare. Bipartsanship be damned.

  • Bastard sellout.

  • Daschle.....is for self. Insurance companies got to him. Check his bank accounts for a large deposit.

  • Douchebag for sure, even his own original state would like to disown him.

  • I've always hated Tom Daschle. He has a douchebag face.

  • Why is it the repubs like Boehner say goverment run health care is no good,?, So what they are saying is there health care sucks, because I'm sure that all the congress have goverment health care and if its no good why do they want it but no one else should have it..?

  • Republicans are a bunch of ignorant malcontents, who can be worked into a frenzy about anything. They simply can't live with the reality that they lost the election so badly. Their desperation has lead them to look increasingly insane. Their divorce from reality and retreat into the political netherland of subjective hate and fear, runs counter to the direction of the conciousness of our country. These Palinesque optics will lead them to a major defeat in 2010 and 2012. Life is beautiful.

  • Well, he's rich, got health care for life from his Senate coverage, and can get whatever he needs. Maybe this really IS his personal opinion.

  • Health care reform is going to happen, but not universal health care. These are only a few politicians that are in the pockets of Big Med Biz. Have you seen a NASCAR? Politicians would look just like that if they had stickers of all of their sponsors stitched on their suits. If they end Big Pharma, Big Pharma will end them. This is just a show so Americans will think our government loves us.

  • Thank God Daschle screwed up on his taxes. We almost had him as Secretary of Health and Human Services.

  • Maybe its time for a revolution in america over this..."the land of the free" you guys are being ripped off left right and centre.American politics is so fantasticaly corrupt i love it.And nobody goes to prison thats the bit i cant work out !

  • so Daschle is getting paid by the health care companies. Wasn't Bob dole a spokesperson for for Phizer when he sold viagra? seems like a conflict of interest, isn't that like a company that makes steroids having oversight of the national baseball leagues drug policy?

  • what a fucking corrupt piece of shit

  • Senator Tom Douchele

  • Shhhh! Mark Levin is speaking.

  • The only reason that Bob Dole endorsed Viagra is because he is hard of hearing, and he thought that they said that Viagra would help with his election.....

  • good one.

  • I thought Bob Dole was dead?!?!?

  • Bob Dole is dead.... no one told him yet though. Died in 1995.

  • "We are SO boned." -- attr. to B Bending Rodriguez.

  • Tom Daschle hates Americans. He is simply another member of the crony capitalist garbage that is trying to destroy our democracy. He should go to hell!

  • just gos to show you, money and power corrupts all.

viva la public option and reform!

  • Of course, Daschle's the biggest fucking lobbyist for the health care industry. Great job America.

  • If only we could actually hold these people accountable for their actions.

  • Somebody please go and kick Tom Daschle's ass.

  • the differance between dem. and rep. is .

when the reps. are fuckin you in the ass and slapping you around then dem. will tell them they have too smile when they do it

    rep.=nazi

    dems.=nazi lite

    2 party my ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cenk rules ...

  • Comment removed

  • He was about to say "Get the fuck outta here!"

lol he should have said it!

  • Politicians are like pimps, they tell you what you want to hear to win you over when it comes time for the election.

But when it is time to help fix a bad situation, the people(voters) get fucked with no Vaseline

    Politicians are duplicitous scum.

They say democracy, I say giant pyramid scheme

It is picking the lesser of two evils. You can either loose your sight or loose your hearing - you choose

I am here to fuck you over with a smile - and I approve this message

  • I'm gonna be honest; I want to be a politician someday, and to say that politicians are " duplicitous scum" really offends me. While some are (Rush, Cheney, Bush, ect.) to judge all politicians as much as you did is, in my opinion, very ignorant.

  • Rush isn't a politician.

  • true... he's a jack ass

  • I agree with you. It's not all... But it's a field that lends itself to the dubious. But I hope you make it and bring the honesty.

  • Really where is the mainstream media of all this they allow corrupt scum like Daschle to put their opinion forth and rarely if ever comment on their obvious bias.

  • Because for some reason the common discourse seems to agree with both Bush and Obama, that these financial guys are geniuses and they are working hard to solve all the problems for the greater good, not just to line their own pockets.

  • How the hell do we keep putting up with all of this shit. There should be one major new law in the congress: No legislator can take one penny from anyone who isn't the federal government through their pre-agreed upon paycheck. If you get caught taking anything else, life in prison. That's how we would get real change in America.

  • Fuck yeah, that would promote a little honesty, huh?

  • Try getting that passed when the people that have to pass it are the ones that would get the shaft by it.

  • fuk tom dashel... I've only been alive 28 years, but the entire time tom has been a fuking prick!

  • Hey Dems...you have the majority. Use your power!

  • The politicians need to stop sucking off big business' tit ... including healthcare companies.

Fcuk them, we need a public healthcare option.

  • I love when Cenck says "Ofcoooouuurrrsse".

  • No single payer health care means Obama's administration is a failure.

And fuck Daschle, I hope he gets raped and contracts syphillis.

  • Ouch.

  • If I was American I'd be seriously pissed off right now. Get the corruption and lobbying out of there now. Dear lord...

  • Why are Democrats trying to be bi-partisan with a party that was so against being bi-partisan when it itself was in power?

  • Because the lobbyists who run this country pay them to be.

  • idiot

  • That was a rhetorical question, but thanks anyway for answering.

  • Democrats in and off themselves are pussies. Repubs never hesitate to rams their manhoods into another person's eyes, but us Dems don't even have manhoods it seems.

Obama might have to become more like Bush. Stop trying to please people that will never agree with your plans no matter what.

  • Ideally no party would ram things down anyone's throat. Sadly if only one party tries to be considerate while they other side are "rammers", the considerate guys tend to get the shaft ;)

  • Oh I totally agree... Funny I guess Republicans like us and Democrats like you have more in common than we thought. Me and my Republican friends mostly like to bend each other over and ram our manhoods up each other's bums... It's actually pretty fun and if you talk about morality a lot, then no one calls you out on it... but that's what we Republicans are good at. Hypocrisy.

  • You are so right. Not only are our representatives in the pocket of the lobbyists, just like the GOPlers; our fine legislators are spineless cowards. It makes me fucking sick to my stomach to see them piss their chance away to actually change something for the better. As the GOP tail-spins into the dustbin of history, the Democratic Party fills the space right of center. A vacuum on the left will develop & we need to support it. Reid, Pelosi, Lieberman, and Leahey need to be resigned.

  • anybody else tired of the paid off politicians screwing most of us constantly? we get single payer healthcare(medicare option) and we dont get huge deficits in the future, we keep making insurance and drug companies billions and trillions of dollars the problem just gets worse and worse. What kind of moron doesn't want to stop the bleeding before it completely drains our economy?

  • The problem your facing is an imbalance of power, and a lack of willingness amongst people to do anything about it. Every single concession that takes money out of the rich and powerful's pockets has had to be earned with blood, sweat and tears. The reason it's not happened is because the majority of people are too busy, comfortable or distracted to come together to force the issue. You guys needs a grass roots movement to tell the politicians that enough is enough.

  • Daschle is a douche! If Obama doesn't put his foot down...this will "mar" his presidency!

  • Bipartisanship equals massive fail!!!!

  • Shame on you that is all there is to say, Shame on you. Demand from your representatives what the vast majority of the people have wanted for decades. Sitting idly by why your corrupt politicians take their paychecks and ruin your nation only makes you an accomplice. There was hope in the rest of the world (where national health care is the norm in first world nations) that America had finally gotten with the plan, it seems change is only a talking point in America not a reality.

  • now lets see if obama will step up to the plate and force some form of national healthcare through. i doubt that obama even gives a shit about us and how healthy we are unless your rich. they are all super corrupt. glad i voted for nader.

  • Bipartisan = bow down to the special interest group(s)

  • It's true about the corruption--there is a reason Dems aren't moving quickly to pass any of these reforms.

  • Screw bi-partisanship!

  • Daschle just screwed us on the mid-term elections.

  • What a disappointment Daschle turned out to be. Is there no honest Democrats left to save America? I can't think of too many.

  • You will be expected to save America. The congress, courts, and administration are not going to do anything to save us. They are the problem.

  • What do you expect....politicians have to support the interests of those who fund them... We need POLITICAL FUNDRAISING REFORM...Disallow Corporate donations(like many stable democracies around the world)....Corporations aren't CITIZENS, can't vote, aren't human.....Would you allow a Corporation to vote????Only CITIZENS should be able to support political parties....No Corporate Funding= No Corporate Favors

  • If this was really a democracy we could vote on the demise of leaders. There should be some way to implant a chip that act like EST in these fellows. Then they couldn't even find their offices or figure out what the bribes were for. Just so they don't always vote with the big money. i know it's a form of pathology. i would like to see Tom Daschel sleeping on the ground in a puddle of his own piss, before he goes to his office.

  • who gives a freak about bi-partisian finally dem run the senate and congress take advantage of it because i think dems are going to lose mid-term election

  • There's no reason a public option can't work like it has in every other major economic power in the world. Shouldn't we have at least as good a healthcare system as all the politicians in Washington do? I wonder if GM would have been able to compete more successfully if I'd didn't have to pay healthcare costs like our German and Japanese competitors do. Please let your representative know your thoughts, whatever they might be.

  • I think the citizens of this country have the right to know what public official and members in the government have received and how much they received from corporations. So we won't be surprised when they defend corporations for their best interest instead of the best interest for the people.

  • great idea, but something tells me that the people you're talking about would all vote against that proposal.

  • we are more important than your colleagues

  • how come "bipartisan" all of a sudden sounds more like "team up on the scam"

  • Thats what its beginning to sound like to me.

  • Say, how about just give us all the same health plan that senators get? It's good enough for them, after all...

I guess it's too bad that Cheney didn't succeed in killing off Daschle with that anthrax mailing, eh?

  • Lol...good point.

  • bob doll. BOB DOLL!

  • In the pocket of the insurance industry.

  • things happen for a reason. Tom Daschle was always a lightweight and he was never meant to be HHS.

  • I'm all for him.

Who's going to pay for it all.

    Someone has to.

  • Dems are shooting themselves in the foot... We gave them control think we would finally get change and they have been nothing but spinless since then.

Obama has keept very few of his promises so far and appears to be more concerned with his second term then doing much.

  • We're gonna have to vote in a third party

  • It has been five months. Less than one eighth into his first term. What do you expect him to do so quickly? He has to stabilise the world economy, which was collapsing around our very ears when he took office.

  • It should be illegal to have a conflict of interest for lobbists. If they are getting paid by the H/C companies then they shouldn't be allowed to speak on the issues. Too much bribery going on while poor Americans suffer.

  • 47,000,000 people without health care and he's dropping his position for the sake of bipartisanship? He's an absolute sell out.

  • Like most politicians,

Daschle is a fucking whore who serves his own pocket book first. Period.

One of the biggest whores is Gore, who, when he left the Congress was worth about $2 M.

Eight years later......... over $100 M.

Secondly, we all know that there is no such thing a bi-partisianship.

Republicans, (by in large), hate Democrats, &

Democrats, (by in large), hate Republicans.

  • not true, its a racket- a craps game, every now and then they shoot one another, but if anyone interrupts the game they all unite in opposition. One hand washes the other..

  • keep praising obama turks.

  • Bob Dole is still alive?

    Holy crap!

  • But we have no reason not to be out protesting since we aren't likely to get shot. We're just too lazy to make them behave. That has got to change or we are headed down the toilet.

  • They don't want you to have the same health care as Congress because Congress has a public plan option and premium coverage on private plans. Insurance companies don't dare deny coverage on a senator and since the taxpayers foot the bill, they don't worry about how much the premiums cost.

  • why is bribing legal in the US?

  • ahh thats the clever part you see... they pour money into policticians and call it 'campaign contributions' not bribes

bribing is illegal - campaign contributions are not.... they are two different terms for the same thing...

campaign contributions always seem to go up at t a time when the corporation giving it is in trouble or wants certain legislation to go through..or indeed, to be killed as with the public option bill. It is horrible, it really is :(

  • omg, why on earth would they allow that?? how can you get any bill bassed that isn't favorable for the big corporations? the US is being run by the corporations this way. that's amazing, luckely this doesn't happen here, in europe

  • You guys are very lucky.

  • Call/write your representatives on this. Put some pressure on these goons and demand they include a Medicare-like public option in their health care reform bill. No compromises.

  • Is there a bigger waste of skin than Tom Daschle?

There is only one thing worse than Republicans, it's the sellout Democrats.

  • Americans should be out on the street about this and other issue that concern our privleges of our rights.
