Most songs have similar notes. Also, Boulevard of Broken Dreams has the same rhythm as Wonderwall, by Oasis. They took the rhythm, changed the notes, added effects, and the entire meaning. Its called inspiration, not copycats.

This song was my anthem during my adolescent years. Not understanding why my family kept moving, making friends and losing friends just as fast, figuring myself out, trying to figure girls out and trying to understand why everyone was diving deep into drugs and sex with the wrong kind of people all before I was 16.
