@optibotimus The Commemorative Series version of G1 Perceptor is cool but I own 2 G1 Perceptor reissues thought they're both Japanese and they both a spring in Perceptor's Missle Launcher as the Hasbro one didin't for Toy Saftey Laws in America.

Heh, I had a G1 Perceptor and back then he was advertised as a working microscope. The instructions from back then identified his second mode as a mobile laboratory; not a tank.

I would love to get Perceptor but I only really enjoy collecting the Decepticons. I want the Gen 1 collection but I cant get them. :( But the Insecticons are just as good :)

I glad I didnt buy that thing. That and the Insecticons sat around for months at my local store. G1 figures are lame if you really look at them, they were cool 20 years ago but they dont have shit on the new figures.

ok i stand corrected, he may not be The First triple changer, but is the first autobot triple changer. if you watch the episode microbots, he actually uses his "tank" mode after disconecting the heart of cybertron.

Indee the head mold is a bit of a let down.

In that way I think the G1 perceptor looks better.

It's funny, I got mine on Black Friday too. When I transformed him to robot mode, I almost fainted, expected a tiny transformer that my Deluxes would tower over, not the case here. I wonder who else is bigger than I think?

cool i bought transformers universe war of the waves(with air raid and storm surge) yesterday. I also bought rampage, arcee, chromia, mixmaster, dirt boss, ravage, and rollbar. lol there were a lot of good deals on transformers, most were like half off.

As far as the rocket launcher goes, I was able to push down the front part of the lever on mine and the missiles would stay pretty well after I did that. Still kinda sucks though.

actually...the biggest problem with me standing in lines for 2 hours wasn't anything to do with my recent health issues...being diabetic also...i could feel my blood sugar getting low...that was the problem...but as soon as i hit the checkout...i bought a mt dew and i was fine LOL. I'm feeling much much better though...i just gotta get my strength up.  If you don't have this figure...TRU gives a great alternative to the original G1 prices on ebay and such....definitely try and get this guy

You're diabetic? Interesting, I have a funny story of mine concerning that disease, when I was six, I was diagnosed, but the docs told me later that I either didn't have it anymore or never had it in the first place. Guess the doctors needed to step up their game.
