we replaced 1/2 marines in hit at that time i was with 1/36 inf sniper plt stayed at fb3-fb5 untill we build a ip base right on cherry talk about fun days and nights..that city was one of its own for sure..good times..them 1/2 guys were cool......great video too by the way...

Yes, I stayed there for a week with some Marine reservists. Great bunch of guys. The Maj knew the town very well, got most of my best imagery while at that school.

i was in blt 1/2- wpns co. CAAT plt. good video... i actually recognize some of the locals in the video.at 3:43 is one of my good friends from bravo co... jimmy danyow. i cant tell you how much i hated it there.- we all froze our nuts off. one of the marines from combat camera rode with us out to take the pictures of bravo's firefight that made it into the MEU book. i dont remember who... i had just gotten blown up a couple days earlier and wasn't feeling too well. semper fi brother.

1/2 C co. Was on the USS Austin. Good shit. I dunno about the BHD soundtrack..bit over used but good shit nonetheless. Too many smiles though, making the media look bad. It looks as if ....people can be HAPPY in IRAQ!!!
