  • That's a 1959 9 passenger Villager!

Why would somebody go and modify that with different wheels?

You just don't modify Edsels, they're unique enough already!

  • very sweet

    thanks, idle edsel

  • Manufactured from 1957-1959. The Edsel Comet was going to come out in 1960. But was Sold to Mercury.

  • thats nice i love te oddball cars and that is allmost at the top of my list ide drive it

  • I own a Ford Mercury 58 in sweden..

  • That is one tricked out Edsel!

  • I wasn't to thrilled with the custom wheels, but I loved the side pipes!!!

  • i LOVE those kinda cars. I think that the style is gorgeous and with the knwolege we have now we can still make the same style but i doubt that it would be cheap.

  • Even with fiberglass and aluminum body the rest would probably be very expensive. Cheaper to buy the classics and be willing to pay for the gas.

  • I reckon thats a classy car - I would love one - if it wasn't for the fact the steering wheel is on the wrong side :o)

  • Is "reckon" part of the Queen's English???

  • Who knows these days!! We've even got children calling their little fingers "pinkies"!!

  • I would have thought that "pinkies" was a term that we here in the colonies inherited from you all over there.

  • Well I for one think that car has style - I'd have one if only the steering wheel wasn't on the wrong side :o)

  • There are alot of imported cars (mostly Rolls) with right-hand drive around Hollywood and Beverly Hills. I can't help but laugh at the confussed look on the faces of "Americans" when they see them.

  • I'll stick with my Landrover!!

  • Is that a classic Landrover or one of these new-fangled luxery types built for the rich and infamous? (ha ha ha )

  • Its the one in between - called a "FreeLander" not sure if you get them over there? Landrover's "Car" strong and tough as they come with a big diesel engine (BMW).

  • I've heard of it but don't think I've seen one. But I love the old ones. We used to call them "Daktari" cars!!!

  • Clarence the cross eyed Lion LOL god bless 'im :o)
