I think Tifa would have won if she didn't rely on that damn Materia. Too many on and your strength, physical def, and hp will go down, sometimes Vitality. The majority are very useful in 2 because she had time to cast these spells with Yuna and Rikku backing each other up but it's obvious that Hitomi would not let her give her the chance at all costs.

Yuna could have won if it weren't for the clones but when desperate times calls for desperate measures...

i think anyone can use materia, And Apparently Hitomi is no exception. during this fight you see tifa's Arms glow meaning that you don't need slots or weapons to use Materia, Also Hitomi may be able to use them is because she saw Tifa use them after Hitomi got one during this fight and Learned immediately how to use it. at least this is my guess

Simulated a battle isn't easy. You guys try it. 8D I am just curious, why is this the only video someone gets bloody? Both of them have impeccable timing, it would seem. Hitomi as the power to move the earth, which is advantage. 1pt! Tifa can control time. 2pts! Hitomi has incredible endurance. 1 pt. Tifa, even with time control, may have been able to beat hitomi. But, her time stopping ability doesn't seem to do much damage. In a real battle, the power depicted would have left hitomi dead.

Alright, I admit. I was VERY disappointed when Hitomi beat Tifa. I said out loud, NO WAY. Then I remembered-I'm a Fan, not a Fanboy. Fanboys say, "A" can beat "B" in a fight because they happen to like "A" better than "B". "Like" being the only qualifier of who wins a fight.

IN FF7, Tifa is the weakest character (damage & limit break), and Monty has been portraying Hitomi as BAD so far). I agree-without materia, Tifa is no match for probably anyone in this series (but she's my favorite).
