  • I love that tone, I keep my signal chain clean using a Probes Pedals Super Looper. Check it out! on You Tube ID "xj7P-ajPeZM"

  • @henryanto05 Of course, of all our pedals are true bypass anyway..!! But that Looper looks great :)

  • @wampcat can you get that sound out of a fender super reverb??

  • @ihaveaverybadcold Pretty much so, most of the demos are done through amps such as those. It wouldn't be hard to dial it in with this pedal

  • 1:44 "Oh, this pedal is so versatile I forgot about this awesome feature!"

    :D Rockin!

  • their pedals are pricey. 200 for the compressor great pedal though

  • oh right, without the boss reverb pedal :P

  • that amp was a lot of reverb on it... would like to see this demo without reverb...

  • Marshall should install one of these in all their MG amps.

  • Why choose the pinnacle instead? or this?

  • @sportsportsport Dude, i just bought the Pinnacle and i am returning it 3 days later. It's a fuzz box really, not Marshally at all.

  • @darrenw5094 Hmmm, what amp and guitar are you using and what tone are you going for?

  • @sportsportsport Tried it in my Mesa Triaxis with Celestion Greenback and also my Marshall JVM with 2x12 cab loaded with Vinyage 30's. Looking for a Marshall sound at this stage. It's fuzzy in all amps so far.

  • @darrenw5094 You're the only person ever I know of to refer to the pinnacle as a fuzz box. Maybe you need an EQ and a stacked OD with it. Mine is certainly not fizzy, I hate fizzy distortions.

  • @sportsportsport Thanks for the reply. I am thinking that my Greenback cab is not so good. Maybe very nassle is the mids. I would love this pedal to work for me, but it's unuseable with my current setup.

  • @darrenw5094 The appropriate scenario is that you dispose of the Pinnacle then. Unless you consider changing your amps. Amps are the most important aspect of tone. It's nearly the entire voice of what is transcended through psychical playing into sound. Pedals merely enhance what is already 'the tone'. If a pedal is detrimental to what you already like then the pedal is not right. Find one that suits it and behaves well with the amp. It doesn't mean the Pinnacle is a bad pedal or fizzy though.

  • @sportsportsport Maybe i will try it out in some other amps to see what happens. Maybe a smaller amp would be more suited with the Pinnacle. What is your amp or current setup? Maybe i need a change.

  • best sounding distortion iv heard so far since the Pinnacle 2.

  • i love this but i wish the gain switch was a foot switch. if it had that id buy 100. right now i only have one

  • i own a CAE OD 100 and Soldano x88r but the super plextortion pedal kick their asses to the moon......LOVE IT

  • Cool, nails Angus Young's tone.

  • man, i just discovered this effect. i love the distortion. its gives the chomping sound!Gromp!

  • i salute you sir. very nice sound ^_^

  • This exact minute, I'm putting my "fizzy" sounding Crunch Box for sale.....FINALLY a multiple gain pedal with a an awesome sound AND versatility! Can't wait to place my order.

  • Indeed! I did that, and believe me..this SP is more versatile and much more natural, organic than the CB v2

  • I have a question to all you Super Plextortion or Pinnacle owners, will this sound this good through my Plexi type amp,or is it best suited for Fender type amps? Thanks

  • Dude just opened mine sounds awesome through my orange. I can only imagine that it would work for you. The super Plextortion though thats what I just got

  • I hate how you're secretly making me want the Analog Echo in all these videos.

Damn you Wampler!! You'll have my money yet!!

    Cheers!

  • That is THE BEST sounding dist./ o.d.pedal I have ever heard! I'M getting one! Cranked A.C. rocks too!

  • I listen to this clip everyday for inspiration. I cant wait to buy one. BTW is the reverb on the whole clip?? If so what setting??

  • Does this Super Plextortion pedal have an internal mid control??

  • cant wait to get mine 16 days in the waiting.hope it will be coming soon.Best pedal ive ever heard.Wampler is my go to man for pedals.

    Great job brian!

put those overpriced boutigue guys right out of biz!

  • already have it and my feel like "I foundddd it!!!!" the best of the best distortion pedal i ever have and next have to get the pinacle for sure

  • Great Job Brian, thats one of the best sounding pedals I have heard in a while!

  • Does the Super Plextortion just have an extra step in distortion, with the 3 position toggle switch, over the original Plextortion with 7 knobs?

  • I've had mine for a week. With different IC's (it's socketed) there's a lot of variety. It even does a totally transparent clean boost.

Great product, great people to deal with. A+

    149.00? a steal.

  • holy crap! That sounds more marshal than most marshals!

  • woww!! thats amazing!!! it really sounds like a marshall!!! best pedal i heard its incredible it sound better than a tube preamp, is very alive i like it very much I have a marshall head and i may consider getting this pedal!! thats tone addiction!!! congratulations brian nice pedal keep up the good work!!

  • you make a fender combo sound like a marshall stack, it's like a miracle! :)

I think this may well save on backline rental and space in the van, awesome!

  • What model Agile LP are you using for your vid's?

  • For crying out loud Brian Wampler! Your new pedals are stepping all over my KE.... and A.M. pedals. Not to mention my F.T.'s

Pedal freaks like myself will be needing our Christmas stockings to be made out of kevlar this year! Great stuff!

  • dude that souds killer! Im buying it.

  • great tones, Mr. Wampler!

Santa's on a budget this year, but maybe sometime in the future... :]

  • I love the fact you can get modern hi gain sounds from it now!

  • Gheeeez..Brian, that sounds good. I agree with you in the fact that other guys are posting vids with pedals played through expensive amps to fool us into thinking its the pedal giving the tone.

I try everything on a 5 watt Fender champ 600. If that sounds good, then it will sound good on anything.

  • Love the demos, and it's great to see how you constantly improve your builds. Your pedals always seem to cover a wide range of tone and gain options, which is great!

Question: At what amp volume are you recording your vids. And, are the guitar's volume/tones all the way up? Just curious. This demo sounded sweet.
