i know all the words 2 all of the wicked songs. see, im trying 2 do that because i want 2 b on wicked when i grow up. at first i wanted 2 b glinda but now, i kinda cant decide. i mean, glinda gets to sing popular+no one mourns the wicked,(i have a AMAZING high voice that it hurts my ears. but i love it) but elphaba gets 2 sing defying gravity, as long as your mine, no good deed,and the wizard and i. i can also sing not that high like elphie. so , i could do any of those parts. plz give me advice

@evilskunk12 If you are actually any good, audition for a specialist stage school/local theatre, or post a video of you singing. Otherwise, don't go around saying you have an amazing voice.

And also, it takes so so much more than just learning the lyrics to a song to feature in a professional production. So much more.

The only thing i dont like about this song is that it only works as a duet, and the short version they did in glee has too many chorus and lacks good parts of the song. I did some cutting around and made another version which i sang to, in my profile in case you wanna check out. I share the musical base.

Usually I sing this song along with the cd. I realized while singing it just now, without Idina Menzel's voice helping me, just how HARD this song is. I was very excited at the end though. I hit that final note without wavering!

Once I find a friend who can do Glinda's part, I will definately be using this and posting a video of us singing it. I'll give you credit of course for the track.

I am actually rehearsing this song for an audition for a play and I have a pit in my stomach which is not that good! :P
