  • i have never seen a ball python for $25 where do u livee??!

  • I have my own ball python named Ρyth. He is atracted to circular objects. He is about a year old. Ball pythons are very entertaining in their cage or on the ground.

  • I created a site, showmyreptile com, where you can upload pics, videos, start discussions, chat w/ other members, and start groups. Looking for members, would love for you to join. Thanks!

  • i started a site to network reptile owners, you can post pictures and videos. its showmyreptile com if you want to check it out.

  • how old is he

  • that looks more like a mystic than a normal ????

  • @smoothjamskillsmoure i got 1 a month ago and named her Nagini from Harry potter ;P

  • @Lolzorpantz I have never heard of anybody called Nagini in HP lol!

  • @mshobohorse its voldemorts snake :)

  • @mshobohorse lol read the books or see the fifth sixth or seventh movies xP

  • @Lolzorpantz I was going to do that too haha the only problem is nagini is a reticulated python

  • @Skrawlx well in the deathly hallows Nagini is a boa constrictor (no idea why LOL)

  • @Lolzorpantz im pretty sure Nagini is HP is a reticulated python and almost positive its not a boa constrictor. just letting you know. PS Nagini coolest name in the world.

  • @XXADXX97 Nawh dude i think its a burm or retic in all movies cept Deathly hallows P2 where she is a BC, check urself :)

  • @Lolzorpantz hmm can you link me where it says nagini is a BC? sorry i cant find it anywhere online n srsly she doesn't resemble a bc what so ever.... i thought was a reticulated maybe not but deffs not a bc

  • @XXADXX97 well i cant really find any good vids of it on youtube since the movie hasnt come out on dvd yet. so uh, either watch the movie or search on harry potter and the deathly hallows 2 snake scene. or w.e

  • hide.........

  • it doesnt even hve a cold side!

  • i got mine for $50 got it today idk its name yet any sugestions

  • @jacobshoesmith I gonna get one soon and name it either Starscream from transphormers or Starkiller from starwars.

  • @death789s hehehe maybe but he was scared.

  • @xUNKNOWNxAC94 xD lol

  • very cute snake

  • lmao, i have a bumble bee ball python, its like 200$ cheap, but got it and all cage and accesories for 150$ :]

  • Dizzyman your clearly an idiot ball pythons are usualy sold for 80 when they are normal.

  • @TheSnakeWisperer lol you are clearly an idiot i got mine for 50, and hell i now know where to get them for free.

normals are no where near 80 if so you are getting ripped off.

  • why didnt you hold him?

  • Ball Pythons do not need much space. If you get them a large enclosure, you have to fill it up with lots of hideaways and fake leaves.

  • tank is to small my ball python is in a 40 gallon and now i need to get a 50 or 60 because he is getting big

  • @sonyboy696 Ball pythons rarely need anything bigger than a 40 gallon tank. If they have a lot of space, it stresses them out. They don't need room to wander. A happy ball python is one that is hiding in its hide most of the time (or under a lot of leaves), and then comes out for a short cruise sometimes at night.

  • Aww hes chubby!! Mine is just a baby((:

  • Not all bp's are fussy eaters. Mine will eat mice, rats and gerbils. Be careful feeding rats to them because they are alot more fatty than mice so don't feed them very many. Make them wait longer for them. Mice are better for smaller bp's. Nice snakie you have there.

  • They are beautiful snakes I had one but it got out of her cage and died of the cold. Beautiful one you have !

  • @MegaTank99 dude, that's terrible :(

  • Nice

  • thats a horrible setup especially for his size. he needs a way bigger tank and more decorations and more room for him to roam

  • @gunspinner101 question... did u not read the description before you posted this?

"He has been in a MUCH larger 40 gallon terrarium since July of '07 with two great hides! Don't worry. He is doing well."

  • @robbieboy12345 ok then lol

  • why are some people saying this is clearly a pastel ball python ????????? its abviously a normal !! a gorgeous normal it is 2 !!!!!

  • That ball python reminds me of a nigger.

  • @johnd94

    Your a stupid fuck

  • thats a terrible set up for any snake.

  • Hey guys I'm planning on getting a snake in the next 2 weeks what size ball python should I get. I have a bearded dragon but never had snakes so I'm new to snakes... Btw nice snake!!!

  • i'm trying to bulk mine up coz it looks quite alot smaller than it should

  • how old is that snake its a fattie u feed it good

  • VERY healthy and GORGEOUS ball python!

  • looks like a pastel or somthin. gorgeous looking snake. P.s the paper towel roll is a killer idea, I might have to try that

  • awesome needs to drop some weight! and dont listen to those haters that tank was big enough as long as you take him out alot shouldnt effect it in any way

  • nice ball python what morph is this a fire? i dont know the ball python morphs to well looks really healthy though

  • @punchdrunk09 - just normal

  • is that a pastel ball its beautiful man congrats

  • is the stuff at the bottom that shredded coconut stuff? i was just wonderig becuase its most likly what im going to get for my snake..

  • Fat snakes are sooo cute, too bad it's not a good thing XD

  • That´s a very beautiful snake:) I have one ball python,it´s so amazing. I´m going to buy a new snake.

Your terrarium it´s very small, buy a bigger one !

  • i have one just like that

  • that aquarium/ tetarium IS Way to small the big guy needs some room to rome

  • hes pretty happy looking =)

  • pretty fat :-\

  • beautiful snake but i will never buy snake coz im too scared xD

  • That snake is a fatty. Looks beautiful.

  • that's a very beautiful snake, he looks really healthy and happy.

  • you need a place where he can curl up and hide. the wall he was curling up near the beginning was clear. thats why he was putting his head under his self. put some plants near both the cool side wall and the warm side wall ( or the side with the basking light and the room temp side)

  • I'm getting a ball python tomorrow from a private owner. 4 months old, he's selling it to me for 40 bucks and that includes the aquarium, heat rock, heat lamp, water bowl and stick. I think I got a deal as long as he's healthy

  • just because you dont like them doesnt mean you should speak down on the people who do.

have you ever heard " beauty in the eye of the beholder".

  • @reptilesupermaster09 i love snakes man

  • bcuz they're cool

  • A normal ball python will cost you about 79.99$.

the fancy ball python costs around 250$.

  • Thats at pets smart, i got mines for $40.00

  • u are getting ripped off!!! normal ball pythons are around 25$ to 50$

  • @dizzyman195 yea maybe from a breeder not from a local pet shop

  • @dizzyman195 no there notttt

  • @dizzyman195 there $80 at petco petsmart and every other pet store around

  • @Bearsrules323232 I realize that but thats because they can sell it for that amout... because people who are interested in "normal ball pythons" are stupid... no offence to anyone because normals are awesome but they are not inteligent with pricing and are willing to pay more than necisary... if you take the time and look for mabe a reptile show near you you can find huge females for like 60 bucks and babys for under 20$

  • @dizzyman195 mine costed me 250$ and it is a normal ball python

  • @christian31509 u seriously got ripped off u could have bought an other type of python with 250 dollars

  • @christian31509

    Nahh..

    Youu clearly dont have one.

250 for a Normal, hell no.

  • @dizzyman195 no they are not. in my state they are 79.99

  • @gunspinner101 thats at pet stores like pets mart and such go to a reptile expo man Im not lieing to you...

  • @dizzyman195 ok that make more sense beacuse I went o the human society expo when the brought all the dogs from the pound, and I adoped my dog for free with no addtional charge, but still next time acuatlly say that you got it from a expo instead of saying you just got ripped off.

  • @dizzyman195 nah depends where u are n whatnot stores around here sell them for 80 but there on sell adecent amount for 30 or 40 and theres not many breeders around here

  • @dizzyman195

Seriously dam im getting 1 & its 75$! atthe local petstore

  • @FUXUPSSHITBRA4569 don't get it from a pet store. i have never seen a healthy snake come from a pet store. find out if there is a reptile sale in your area. i live near cleveland, oh and there is one every month. normals there are $15-$25 as babies and i even get pastels for $60. and those are from trusted breeders. most will take your snake back and give you a new one if you can't get it to eat.

  • @dizzyman195 ummm try $50 to $99

  • @dizzyman195 i live in scotland and they cost 100 pounds which is like 150 dollars

  • @dizzyman195 only from expos, mine was 90... expos can sell for very cheap...

  • @dizzyman195 yeah your right , i am getting one tomorrow for $30

  • ya where is his hiding place..cave or something for ur bp to hide in

  • dude you really need to put to hides on each side of the cage man. having your snake all open and shit is very bad. puts some fucking hides in there.

  • is a vary sexy snake

  • Im sorry but your snake hates that tank! That snake is trying to get out badly... You have to have something she or he likes. Like i just got my corn snake just now,,,, And hes comfortable... Hes just slithering around getting use to the place. i just threw a mouse in there ... if you want pics send me!!

  • thats exactly wat my ball python did wen i first got him he kept hanging on the heat sensor it was funny lol

  • so learn YO facts and also colubrids arent as pretty or can make nearly half as much money as ball pythons can so once again your wrong so keep tellin people to go buy a snake thats long and skinny like a worm as a baby that isnt worth nearly anything.....and it doesnt make sense to say a colubrid is first and baby ball pythons are 3rd so what is 2nd or cant you count either it must run side by side with your snake knowledge

  • ok a colubrid can get about 9-10 ft so no it is not a great starter snake and they have just as much of a chance of biting as a ball python and ball pythons top out at about 5 ft or so for females and less for males and captive bred doesnt ever bite if your ball python bites you treat it bad or its a wild hatched .....what did you go to a website that numbered the best snakes to buy because you can ask any snake owner or breeder that really knows there shit and ball pythons are the BEST first

  • dude i got my ball python 4 $30

  • Lol I got mine for free.

  • ball pythons are the best first snake to get for one they are the tamest snakes and 2 unlike boas and other snakes they dont get large and they are easier to handle all of my boas and ball pythons always eat i had one time in the winter where one of my ball pythons didnt eat for 2-3 months because he was fasting which they normally do in the winter babies can go 6 months with no food and adults can go about a year and a half so learn your facts before you tell people there bad first snakes

  • likewise to yourself

colubrids are the best first snakes to have the usually never ever ever bite after the first one if it wasnt ever held before that

baby ball pythons are a close 3rd best snake to get

gravid juvenile BPs are after that

    check YO facts

  • ball pythons are a bad first time snake , if they go off food its really hard to get them feeding again

  • Wht is the annual cost of owning this snake: food, vet, care, etc.?

  • i would guess without vet bills the yearly cost would be around 400 dollars max when first buying everything. if you think about it all you have to do is buy the snake $90 and find a cheap 40 gall tank. for maybe $50 then get a hide for $15 or so, then a water dish you can use almost anything for the water dish. Then get a heat lamp $25 or so. and either live or frozen feeders. so there are 52 weeks in the year times about 2 dollars is about $104. So everything would be about

  • fuck dude, four hundred dollars to start with a ball python!?

thats insane, just use a tub(5 bucks tops)

substrate(10 dollars), heat mat(20+), thermostat(30+), the actaul snake(25+), and thermometers(11 dollars each) and the grand total is $101

  • but the thing is it might be a morph

  • then you add the price of the morph, but morphs are over rated, nothing is like a normal with the chocolate colors and the white bellies :]

    nothing against morphs though =]

  • snake 25 $ where the fuck do you find one that cheap i am getting mine for like 250$

  • @zombieruler111 easy petsmart sells them for 60. go to a local or a petsmart there cheap. to me at least

  • Go to a reptile show or breeder. Normals should sell for $30 and under, and besides petsmart's as wild caught and dont usually feed well. People used to give them hamsters just to get them to eat when I worked at a Petsmart.

  • @zombieruler11

i got mine for 25$ at a reptile expo

  • Reptile expos are the best places to get your snake from they are cheaper and you get it from the breader notsomebustedass down pet shop. love going to the expos

  • It depends on who you buy from and what the morph is that you are buying. Any reputable shop or breeder will never sell you a normal for more than $50. But if you start getting into other morphs, the price shoots up considerably.

  • very cheap

  • 130-200$

  • vet your rarely have to go if you want you can go soon as you get it to get it checked up to be on the safe side, where i am my food is £1.29 each for rat pups you will start on fluffs that are alot cheaper the bigger the mouse/rat the more expensive but you feed once a week so its like less than £5 a month care exactly the same clean like once a month maybe every few months depending on the substrate, there very cheap to take care of the most money is the tank and heating + the snake

  • thats a 10 gal tank u retard

  • can i use moist cocofiber as the substrate

  • I do but i also mix it with reptile bark. Just not by itself

  • so u put down coco fiber then bark on top?

  • I just mix it together. It works well

  • your python needs a place to hide. gonna stress her out.

  • get a clay plant pot n cut a hole in the side or buy a hollowed out log or if ur cheap lol use a cardboard box or just give it sum sort of hide out they get stressed if they dont have 1 ang this can affect there feeding

  • poor bp has no where to hide 8(

  • he needs a rock or half log hider right for his size belive mee ur not giving him a place to sleep and he will become agrasive

  • When I become more older, ill buy myself a ball python. Right now, I can't because my mom hates snakes.

  • i just managed to get mi parents ok with snakes, wittle em down yull get one, or a hiding one fo tha two ;p

  • it needs something to hide under too

  • btw nice should put in sound if u can

  • U should get atleast a100 gallon tank.

(P.S. nice snake and cool vid

  • for a ball python?!?!? you only need a 30 gal. for an adult. 100 will stress them out as they wont feel secure with that much space.

  • OH........ srry

  • yes soo dont tell ppl stuff unless you know. ppl will end up getting the wrong thing and their snake will be unhealthy

  • Wat iz ppl?

  • poeple...

  • Comment removed

  • what? ball pythons should have at least a 20 gallon and i dont think a 100 gallon exists.

  • i saw a 100 gallon tank at petco and it is still there

  • if your really worried get one of those non light heat lamps they send out heat waves or somethin that what i use at night keeps my python warm and no problems yet

  • he is really cute

  • how old is it? he or she?

  • good stuff

  • nice 1

  • nice snake good setup how long have ye got him now

  • is it a pastel? looks very yellow???

    awesome snake man !!

  • Got mine yesturday

  • u know that scratch or whatever is on the top of your ball pythons had my BP has the same thing

  • if you had a cat and a ball python when it a baby would cat eat it while younot wacthing

  • don't talk shite, cats don't eat snakes, the snake would probs eat the cat if the snake was big enough.

  • Excuse me my 10 year old Son wrote that comment, and it was a genuine question-there was no need to be such an arse.

  • oh come on, everybody knows that cats don't eat snakes, snakes have been known to eat cats.

  • and your point is????????as I said my Son wrote it- drop the attitude.

  • fs i wis only saying, and wit attitude

  • 4 your question, I wouldnt trust a cat around a snake I have a snake and a cat, my cat is the quietest cat it does nothing how ever I know if the snake got to close to it and wiggled to much to the cat my cat would strike at it, its just in the cats nature to strike and even a small strike from a cats paw could harm a snake. but u will probably find that the cat is freaked out by it and go hind somewhere, mine did for a long time, but dude get a snake they are the coolest pet. Good luck

  • no thanks, i've got a 2 year old cat that is a total menace, so no doubt he would end up knocking over the snake's cage and then god knows what will happen. and anyway i think feeding live animals to snakes is cruel so i probs wouldn't get a snake anyway even if i didn't have a cat.

  • Supernaturalfan, wtf is so cruel about snakes eating mice? What tha hell is ma snake supposed 2 eat vegetables? To bad he can't cuz God created them to eat meat not damnn vegetables

  • i said LIVE mice fs, just drop it everybody has their own oppinion, i had a hamster so you can't expect me to think that feeding LIVE rodents to snakes isnt cruel. If you don't think its cruel then fair enough i can except that, like i said everybody has their own oppinion.

  • I fed all my baby hamsters to a snake as soon as they were born

  • you fuck you know shit, an ocelot (its a type of cat) eats baby anacondas, so what makes you think a domesticated cat will not eat a snake? oh ya, pardon me THE FACT YOU ARE A RETARD AND YOUR BRAIN DOESN'T FUNCTION -_-!

  • ur kidding right, i posted that comment a month ago so let it go, shut up, fuck up and get a life dick head

  • Lol... A domestic cat won't eat a snake...

  • they eat mice, they see em move and rip em' to shreds, they chase string... WHAT MAKES YOU FUCKING THINK THEY ANT GONNA FUCK UP A SNAKE?! EH? SMART GUY??? you got something to say? your wrong, I'm right shit Ur fucking mouth

  • derrrrrr

  • wernt talking to you douche bag, some idiot sed cats dont try eat snakes

  • lol, "arse"
