Jimmy Iovine is almost always EPIC WRONG. He wanted The Pretenders to fire Martin Chambers? He wanted Maria McKee too disband Lone Justice? He wanted Petty to fire Stan Lynch. Iovine hates BANDS. He likes recordings... and he's just wrong about the emotional content of music. I hear he's a fun guy to shoot the shit with... but you don't want to be under his control if you are creative.

I think Bruces second album is decent but his other albums are better.Greetings From Asbury Park is not that great in my mmind except for the song Growin Up.Tom Pettys second album is great as is his first.His only bad album is Let Me Up Ive Had Enough.
