you may have gotten to the war factory, but you couldn't walk on it, or start a mission again! I know, I've tried.

either way, flying to the factory won't help any because you don't get the flying ability till' after you beat ERROL in the war factory.

there's a problem with flying to the factory. You see, the factory is a backround frame, you can try and try, but you won't get any closer.
