I cannot believe his DEATH!!!!!!!!!! What a shame!!!!!!!! He's (was) a very talented skater!!!!!! I agree with the other comments: when you see him skating on the ice, you only can think that he was born to skate. Really, he was so natural on the ice. I loved his presentation of 1987 when he used Hungarian Rhapsody-Czardas. OMFG I think I'm going to cry!!!!!!!! ToT
I've only found out today that he passed away last year. I wasn't watching much tv and didn't have internet for a while, so I just completely missed the sad news of his passing away. I can't believe he's gone. No matter what people say against him, he will always remain of my favorite skaters. You can't deny his talent, no matter what. I finally stopped crying now and I'm just enjoying his performances because that's the way I want to remember him. As one of the finest skaters ever.
Behind every "happy" sensualist like Christopher Bowman I've ever met..there's usually a very emotionally dishonest, dissatisfied and self-destructive child hiding just beneath the surface.
To be given the number of wonderful gifts he received and then just throw them away is such an uncalled for tragedy and classic cautionary tale.
This was the midnight skate - I read a Sports Illustrated article about this nationals and Brian Boitano skated at like 12:36 AM. Plus, the pairs had like, 17 hours between their programs. Huge scheduling snafu.
He is just soooo natural on the ice. Its been said many times before, and I'll say it again, he has such a natural spring and solidity in his jumps. I love how he holds his beautiful landing positions with confidence and flair. Fantastic.
I made a mistake...... it seems that the presentation I was talking about (Hungarian Rhapsody - Czardas) wasn't in 1987.... was on 1988... sorry xD
But I'm still crying for his passing away!!!! Crying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ToT

So naturally talented and charismatic. I miss him so much. He was really one of a kind and sadly, he couldn't conquer his demons. R.I.P. Bo-Bo.

Ah, the way he opens his arms to the audience as if he is offering a gift -and what a gift!
