@grassfoam He explains that that is why they have the ventilation vents in the lockers for the pads and shoes. And also why the gloves and shoes go on the air hoses. If the pads, shoes and gloves are sweaty/wet and left like that they will grow bacteria. The ventilation and air hoses dry them out so that the bacteria doesn't get a chance to grow.
@grassfoam most teams have a ventilation system throughout the lockers. Also, there is a machine called an Ozone and the athletes can put their equipment in their overnight. It kills bacteria particularly in gloves, pads etc
