Yesterday I got my flu shot and today I got 2 shots. Today I got 1 shot for Mexico (I'm going there in December) and one I was supposed to get in grade 8 but I got it sooner. And one of my arms really hurt right now. :( And i''m only 11!!! D:

It seems that she doesn´t make it right because it should not hurt to injekt the serum after the prick. Is it really necessary to make it that deep? I don´t think so.

I didn't even feel my tetanus shot.................til the next day now it just spasms abit if I flex my shoulder at all. but it is pretty specific to tetanus shots not other shots.

We have to get 3. Had one in March, one in April, and will have one in September. I hadn't had an injection before since I was about 4, so I was really scared and anxious to get one, but it was over it like, 2 seconds - the nurse didn't take nearly as long injecting as yours did. Omgg!! When I had my first one I was like i'm fine it'll be fine, then I did a thing I shouldn't have done .. I looked at the needle when getting the injection!! :O:O:O then I tensed my arm so the injection went in my muscle! I was frightened and then my second injection came I was panicing and punched the lady who was giving me the injection .. I had too be held down and I screamed while getting it .. @SpoofAnimator Kinda reminds me of when I got my booster shot. I am deathly afraid of needles...though when I was younger, I would either fight the doctors or run away. Anyway, when I was 10, I had to get shots in my legs and my mom and doctor both held my arms while the nurse was injecting the needles....that's when the drama happened. Before she could get the needles in me, I ended up kicking her multiple times in the stomach, since my legs weren't held down. I feel bad, but it's still funny.

Well they didnt hurt one bit , well the first two anyway , im having my third one in march x and im only 12 , maybie they sting for like 2 seconds but over than that , there is nothing to worry about , and by the way im SCARED of needles , i had to have 3 people to hold me down when i had my first one and when i had a blood test , screamed so loud everyone looked at me , so yeah nothing really to worry about xxxx
for the record -- i had all three shots for HPV .. they hurt A LOT. tetanus shots are nothing compared to this .... really.. it burned like all the way down my arm, i slept a lot after first shot & had a fever.. after the second I was fine then about 4 hours after I got dizzy and very nearly passed out.. my boyfriend wanted me to goto ER, prolly should have.. it was horrible & same with 3rd shot.. they hurt worse & make you feel worse each time & my bf went as my teddy bear he said i was pitiful

they did get worse each time for me.. felt like acid in my arm at first, shew then i felt all nauseated and like i would pass out with my blood pressure down and heart rate up and that was hours after the shot.. & I slept a lot
I did.. take like two tylenol or two motrin about 20 minutes before you get the shot, it helps.. i did that with my third one & didnt get a fever like i did with the first 2 and it didnt hurt as much
had my 2nd one 2 days ago, it was just like the 1st one, easy and painless, i was a bit shakey but i knew what to expect, just relax your arm, dont tense it, and before u know it, its over
when i got my 1st injection the only side affects was being sick twice and almost fainting but appart from that it wasnt painfull at all and in a way it was fun to have the needle. I cant wait for the 2nd on January 29th.

Those nurses did it well slow! I got my first one done today and she literally jabbed it in pumped it and out in like 2 seconds. The actual needle goin in dont really hurt but now my arm really aches and it feels like my whole top arm is bruised. But there isnt even a mark! so i dont get any sympathy! *sigh* just get it done...dont be scared, hey it will get you out of your lesson for 10 mins!

Where is proof actually this vaccine works? it has been used for 5 yrs but not even a single report saying it prevents from hpv virus i.e 30 girls tested and they are all negative etc.. The health authorities should do the follow up on girls to proof that this vaccine works rather than sterilasing young girls.

I got my first one today. It doesn't hurt while you're getting the needle, it only hurts afterwards. I am 100% terrified of needles to, so this coming from me, that's amazing. I had your scaredness yesterday. I did feel dizzy and light - headed after, but I just put my head down or lie down for 5 minutes. Hope this helps and dont be as scared as you are. This is just another one of those shots that got alot of attention...cause of ONE girl. Omgg!! When I had my first one I was like i'm fine it'll be fine, then I did a thing I shouldn't have done .. I looked at the needle when getting the injection!! :O:O:O then I tensed my arm so the injection went in my muscle! I was frightened and then my second injection came I was panicing and punched the lady who was giving me the injection .. I had too be held down and I screamed while getting it .. (I sound bad don't !) Now the third ones tomorrow, I am so scared! What am I gonna do next! x

@SpoofAnimator Kinda reminds me of when I got my booster shot. I am deathly afraid of needles...though when I was younger, I would either fight the doctors or run away. Anyway, when I was 10, I had to get shots in my legs and my mom and doctor both held my arms while the nurse was injecting the needles....that's when the drama happened. Before she could get the needles in me, I ended up kicking her multiple times in the stomach, since my legs weren't held down. I feel bad, but it's still funny.

I got my last one yesterday, and I'm glad it's over! The first one me and all my friends were freaking out, a couple of them were crying! (wimps :L) We got the 1st in our left arm (if you were right-handed) and my arm was KILLING me for the next week. The 2nd one we gotin oiur right arm and that wasn't too bad, freaked out again and still some girls crying. Last one yesterday... nervous but it was fine, arm still pretty sore. What scares me about this vid is how slowly they did it!!!

Well they didnt hurt one bit , well the first two anyway , im having my third one in march x and im only 12 , maybie they sting for like 2 seconds but over than that , there is nothing to worry about , and by the way im SCARED of needles , i had to have 3 people to hold me down when i had my first one and when i had a blood test , screamed so loud everyone looked at me , so yeah nothing really to worry about xxxx

for the record -- i had all three shots for HPV .. they hurt A LOT. tetanus shots are nothing compared to this .... really.. it burned like all the way down my arm, i slept a lot after first shot & had a fever.. after the second I was fine then about 4 hours after I got dizzy and very nearly passed out.. my boyfriend wanted me to goto ER, prolly should have.. it was horrible & same with 3rd shot.. they hurt worse & make you feel worse each time & my bf went as my teddy bear he said i was pitiful

the shot itself, the needle part, didnt hurt that was okkay but it just hurt a lot like the liquid i guess, like seriously, ha i felt it all up my arm .. i slept a long time afterwards, my bf he woke me up to eat, and then i got nauseated feeling.. the 2nd shot is more medicine than first & the third and like the 2nd &3rds didnt bother me til like hours after and then i went all pale felt like id pass out & blood pressure went low & heart rate up, idk what it was :( whewss..

they did get worse each time for me.. felt like acid in my arm at first, shew then i felt all nauseated and like i would pass out with my blood pressure down and heart rate up and that was hours after the shot.. & I slept a lot

I did.. take like two tylenol or two motrin about 20 minutes before you get the shot, it helps.. i did that with my third one & didnt get a fever like i did with the first 2 and it didnt hurt as much

when i got my 1st injection the only side affects was being sick twice and almost fainting but appart from that it wasnt painfull at all and in a way it was fun to have the needle. I cant wait for the 2nd on January 29th.

i was crying so badly before my 1st injection 2day coz everyone was telling how painful it was coz they had all had their 1st ones ages ago so i was histerical but it was so easy and painless!!! she literally put the needle in and took it out straight away, but apparently the 2nd one kills, i hate it when my friends scare me

i am on my boyfriend's account and i would just like to say that yes you should have it done. yes a girl did die after recieving it but what happened was a very rare reaction and it was also due to other factors. Also, i know it it scary but i have to have needles jabbed into my arms and legs all the time. And i have to have one of the worst injections there is. You should be grateful that you have this vaccine, not all people do

Those nurses did it well slow! I got my first one done today and she literally jabbed it in pumped it and out in like 2 seconds. The actual needle goin in dont really hurt but now my arm really aches and it feels like my whole top arm is bruised. But there isnt even a mark! so i dont get any sympathy! *sigh* just get it done...dont be scared, hey it will get you out of your lesson for 10 mins!

ive had mine done a week or two ago....they dont hurt a bit...you barely feel them..but you May get some side affects like nausea and stuff...al lot of girls in my school were hysterical but all said it doesnt hurt...one actually jumped and had to have it again...erm quite a few were sick...i was feeling sick ..oh and your arm feels heavy for a while..good luck and it dont hurt a bit..and im scared o needles so u can tell it dont hurt...i have to have the other 2 soon... Where is proof actually this vaccine works? it has been used for 5 yrs but not even a single report saying it prevents from hpv virus i.e 30 girls tested and they are all negative etc.. The health authorities should do the follow up on girls to proof that this vaccine works rather than sterilasing young girls.

i thought it was going to be really painfull because i have a low pain threshold
but it hardly hurt at all, in fact, pricking yourself witth a needle ,say, when your sewing. that actually hurts MORE than the jab x
honestly, i wud advise every girl to have it because, who knows, it could save your life in the future?

After it feels kinda like you have pulled a muscle but dont be scared to move it or else your arm will get stiff and even sorer.

I got my first one today. It doesn't hurt while you're getting the needle, it only hurts afterwards. I am 100% terrified of needles to, so this coming from me, that's amazing. I had your scaredness yesterday. I did feel dizzy and light - headed after, but I just put my head down or lie down for 5 minutes. Hope this helps and dont be as scared as you are. @Amybomb456 Noo, dont be scared. seriously. I didn't get any efffects. Everyone reacts to injections differently. I mean, you can die from the flu shot, from any shot. This is just another one of those shots that got alot of attention...cause of ONE girl. I highly reccoment this. hahah i sound like a doctor but its true. haah i was doing soo much research before i got my shots. but it was a waste of time. just get it haha. good luck!

i had it done today at 12.30pm. its now 9.20pm and the pain is getting worse now but didnt feel the needle at all! thats what most people are scared of.

I had tht done today it hert a bit but wernt tht bad after 5 mins but after 1 hour of having it my hole arm went numb its been like it for 3 hours and happends to all the girls who had the jab :(
