@FatDaws i think its because it has enough power to play a hi-def video file thats been compressed like on the web or from Itunes,but it probably cannot decode the bluray disc very well
This is going to sound silly, but i keep reading that it has a DVD burner but can it play DVD's?
Also i hear there going to put a blue ray player in it instead soon. is there any truth in that? and is the price likly to go up or will they reduce this one and sell the next one for this price?
The blu-ray model is already being sold. Unless you're Swiss or willing to travel to Switzerland, you'll have to wait...none of the online shops that sell it, ship abroad !
@Joe20088 Thanks I guess they don't have much faith in the UK market. I have never ever seen any Nettop's in a store and when you ask about them in P.C. world they don't know what your talking about.

They brag that this machine plays 1080p but only give it a DVD-RW drive not Bluray/DVD-RW drive.
