It was really close... I played it frame-by-frame, It was 2 1/2 and the last half was on the ice. Very close though! This is happening with my single axel, i'm landing forward and turning the last half on ice. I quit skating for 8 years when i was 12, i'm 20 now and just started skating again 2 months ago. I got all my singles back in a couple weeks lol, but the axel has been really hard to get back, been trying for like a month now. Havn't tried the double Salchow yet, that's where i left off.

I am 13 yers old and i can do double axel, triple toe, triple sal chow and i can almost land a triple lutz (i cant seem to stand up on it, it is too much pressure on my smal legs when i land) I admitt this is a very good attempt of a triple axel, about quarter turn cheated and slightly on two feet,,,,,not bad :) . thumbs up too you!!

It was about as underrotated as some of Mao Asada's attempts. You're quite simply so talented, my dear. Please, continue to skate, and I'd love to see you progress even further. Have you ever thought of using softer, lyrical music? I think it would present you with a nice challenge.

almost all female skaters can't LAND 3A , much less land with full-rotation.

So, I think she is amazing. Even if this 3A is not clean, she did land 3A.

your jumps might be pretty good, but there is more to figure skating than just jumps and spins.... you need speed and better choreography. But you are half way there! :) keep up the good work :D

@Yaske01 Check out some of her programs, you will understand what I am saying. If you look at Risa Shoji, you can see what I mean. Risa doesn't have the jumps, she has the rest, but Ms. triple axel (almost) has the jumps but needs to work on the rest. That is what I mean. I hope you understand.

That being said, still an extremely difficult element and it was executed quite nicely.

@Nshsk8r HI there. I've looked at this video hundreds of times, and it's a double axel. Look at the skater's head (easier than looking at the body.)...she approaches the axel from the front, does two revolutions and lands backwards. In other words she rotates for two and a half revolutions. For this to be a triple, she would be rotating three and a half revolutions. Very few women in the world are landing triple axels.

@0714awesome I never said she wasn't trying. Matter of fact, her jump is absolutely beautiful, and I know I'll never be able to do a single axel, let alone a double. That's not the issue though. I was simply pointing out that it's a DOUBLE, not a triple. The title of the video says "My Triple Axel", when it should read something like: "My triple axel attempt." I think this young lady has loads of talent and it won't be long before she IS landing triples! :)
