  • Muay Thai Warrior

  • Great spinning back kick. Timed real well. Most people have a hard time timing it against a muay thai practitioner. However, the thai boxer telegraphed his kick early on by dropping his left hand. Who knows what the outcome would've been if he didn't.

  • damn he got u bout 4 good hits on u but u can block and doge much better.u hit him wit some killer hits.

  • were you two still friends after this?

  • lovely choice of music

  • i thought it would be a weak fight i was wrong (the first time :p).

that was a great fight with powerful kicking en some nice punches to the face (5*)

  • I like these kids. They started their own fight club. One of these a month and some hard training and they could get good.

  • best spinning kick on the tube! both need to rematch!

  • awesome spinning kick!keep on

  • very entertaining fight!

  • yeah this is a good video! good skill sets here!

  • nice :p

  • wow....I am really impressed.

I hope you go pro one day.

  • damn look at the first shot

  • your both bloody good fighters, i enjoy your watching your group spars, i would like to have spars like this except my mates arent really fighters which is too bad but well done on the both of yas

  • dongkwan ur good but you need more speed on the kicks and u give away your low kick a lot keep trainin and get better

  • Dongkwan...dont let all these hating ass fatasses get on you....if half the people on here were the experts they claimed to be....welll they aren't so dont fucking worry about it..keep up what floats your boat...fuck every body else, nice vid.

  • damn that was 1 nasty kick, your neighbours prob heard that in their own houses lol

  • Wow, that backkick of the Taekwondo fighter is pretty good, the THUD! sound it makes wen landin's goooodd!! Taekwondo won rite?

  • good kicking, twas about time to see some efficient tkd work too.

The MT guy is clearly a beginner (if not then im sorry for him.) The rules must be in TKD favor, since the MT fighter really doesnt use ANY tactics. Anyways, a whole vid would give a better picture.

The fancy kicker does very good for a tkdist anyways. MT too, if this is his first match.

  • I've been watching your vids, really like it. There's a good level of sportsmanship with all of you, as well as some really good intensity. Keep up your training, you would do very well, you have the endurance and speed, I'm very impressed.

    Good luck in the future.

  • Back kick is the best thing about TKD.

  • Good fight, I think you had the ability to take Dragisa though.

  • i would loove to fight u guys either with dion or martin but since i do muay thai i chose martin lol ive been doing it for almost 4 years im 17 ^^

  • very good video

  • big weight difference...you did pretty damn good against a bigger opponent

  • not bad at all

  • awsome fight do you guys still fight like this day and who is best out of you two who has more wins martin or dion anyway yall have some of the best fights i ever on youtube keep posting these fight up you guy go whoop some ass and take some name's you guys kickass.

  • Ypu guys are fucking amazing! :D thts some kl shit man! i use to do martail arts when i was young arughh i better srt some time haha =P yer nice kicks very smooth and swift! wats ur techniques then! =O

  • ur friend should practice more...cool vid tho wish my friends werent such bitches so id be able to spar 'em =D

  • Not a bad at all, you have good quickness. Considering both fights you have up that I've seen were against tall guys in a small space,it comments to your ability. That being said, a few suggestions. 1.) Don't drop your hands and body when getting kicked. Good fighters will feign kicks and follow with hand combinations. 2.) Consider punch kick combinations. You had some very nice shots to the face that stunned him but didn't follow up on it.

  • these look hecka fun...!

  • i lyke TKD i think its gewd

  • Which one is muay thai and which is Tae Kwon Do?

  • nice job martin i bn watchin u fight 4a while u got a lion heart props man pce

  • you guys are fucking awsome you guys make K1 matchs look sorrey.

  • who is using tkd and who is using muay thai? I can tell who is using muay thai because they wear something on their feet but one of them doesnt so i can't tell.

  • i think u tryed ur best

  • heh fighting to the strokes.

    cool, i like ur fights

  • i know its muay thai vs tkd but which is using which martial art?

  • two gay homos..

  • i like the strokes

  • great garage fights, exellent

  • hey r u all friends??? seems like there 2different bands and they are versing against each other!

  • nice video, although i prefer MT the video was edited in favour of the MT guy!! bet the unedited version is awesome!!

  • Really good video man, started TKD when I was 5 and I'm now 18, one of the first videos I've seen a TKD fighter use his head. Kept distance with side kicks when he closed in, and actually being a bit aggressive so he's worried about your movements. Your mate was pretty good as well, damn Muay Thai bastards know how to take a hit! lol. Keep it up man.

PS: Take care of your girl, she looks better then you two :P

  • great video lads!nice demonstration of both arts!!

  • you fought almost like a muay thai fighter ´, keep it up

  • Entertaining. Should've worn differently colored shorts though :D

  • how long do you do TKD?

  • Kinda unfair.. the tdk fighter was in the corner..

  • Which was which? i thought the red vest guy was MT and short guy was TKD. both guys wasnt realy puttin MT v TKD they were just kickboxing. like the way the vid was put together tho

  • it's easy to tell which one is mt and which one is tkd by looking at the stance.

  • would disagree with you there, actually, look at 1:30, the kick the guy in red vest does, that's a specific muay thai kick, dont know it's name coz i dont do it, but its summit like a front spinning kick, and the taekwondo guy is always kicking with the top of his foot, a trate of taekwondo,, it's called 'bitchagi' or 'half turning kick'.

  • sorry, not true, look at the guy in the red vest at 1:30, thats a specific muay thai kick. And the other guy is always kicking with the top of his foot, This is called a 'Bitchagi', which is korean for 'half-turning kick' (chagi is kick)

  • They were fighting under kickboxing rules, which is why you don't see any knees or elbows.

  • heheheh y dont u just kill him u could not do much worse!! XD

  • that muay thai guy cant fight for shit.

  • I would like to make a challenge, how about TKD vs Wrestling?

  • Lol i wouldn't mind that. Except it wouldn't be tkd vs wrestling cuz i started to learn how to grapple. However i would love to learn some of the throws in wrestling like the single-arm whip. Wicked shit.

  • guy in red sucks. n u can tell he edited this film. the other guy landed much more but the few shots he landed were replayed and showed over and over in slow motion . also that was a much smaller guy. can't believe he's proud at the end

  • looked like fun my buddies always mess around like that after school in the backyard (garage is to hot >_<)

  • i actuali fink they r quite gd....keep it up

  • Wow! cool! Is this an "illegal" combat thingy? or something like that? This is really a good fight! GG to both fighters! The tkd fighter realy has a good level!

  • ur friends seems like a evil kid i mean he looks like he wants to kill u but u can kill him!!!!!

  • Hey! My name's Fabio and i'm italian...how can i reach you to make some rounds?? i practiced kick boxing for almost a year, and it sure would be funny to training with ya guys! tell me...how long have you been practicing fighting sports for?

    See ya!

  • you guys are very young. should go to the proper school, learn the proper way, and lastly spar with safety equipment. fighting at that degree of carelessness does not make you good, it makes you stupid.

  • You both were great... I can't realy compare to that. lol

  • that was a great fight, both

  • fuck you guys inspire me to make a fight club in my garage :D

    whats on your floor tho?

  • Cold hard cement.

  • that guy made muay thai look bad tkd sucks who uses tkd in the mma.... know one exactly!!!

  • Hey faggot lets see. David 'Crow' Losieu learned and used tkd, Fedor imcorporated into his training to improve his kicking. Ohhh 2 of the best out there. Know your shit before you open your useless trap.

  • I give you props, you've got great skills in TKD. I wish more people were as skillful as you are, if they were, TKD wouldn't have the bad rep it does now of being ineffective.

  • im impressed awesome man, keep it up i like your stuff p.s. do u have black belt? i almost got it and i was thinking bout tryin some muay thai after i get it and incorperate some tkd to it.

  • Great stuff from both of you

  • Dude... good stuff. (I'm a Muay Thai guy personally)... but I did enjoy watching that fight...espicially liked that like kick at the begining

  • nobody put on head gear or even a mouth piece damn

  • whos muay thai, whos taekwondo?

  • I used to spar with my friend like that too :D

We both trained in TKD, but I did International (which actually has a balance of punches and kicks) and he did World. In terms of speed, he was faster, but when I came in close, it was all over (WTKD DOES have a disadvantage with punching)

    There is actually a major difference between WTKD and ITKD. Most of the TKD that is seen in videos, competition and the Olympics are WTKD, because ITKD (for some reason) don't participate 0_o;;

  • I think all the people in this vid was good, and very crisp, both muay thai dudes, and taekwon-do alike! :) I hope you have a first aid kit ready. and someone who knows a little about medicine, other than that, I love your little fight club! *lol* :D the spinning backick in the beginning, thai or tkd? I know thais sometimes do it too..

  • I have to admit, that's pretty damn good! I have completed 3 years of a mix between Kenpo and Jiu Jistu. It's mixed for the reasons of combat, as my screen name implies. But I've only got to compete in 5 matches one of which I coincedently lost to a Muay Thai fighter! But for a TKD Fighter I have to Admit you do pretty good for yourself! Little hint when facing Muay Thai and you kick high watch their back spin kick to your leg , they like to kick it a lot!

  • How tall are you? You look 5'6 - 5'7 compared to objects/people around you.

  • Um not too sure about height. I'm about 174cm.

  • At 2:49, you kick his inside leg, It's very good. Most of a Thai MT usually use this technique. If you deliver a fast kick to his face after the lower kick, you can execute him because he loses control and is concerned about his leg so he does not protect his face. That's a golden opportunity to finish your job. So think a good plan before lauch your lower and higer kicks.

  • Martin, if you keep fighting closer and raising your hands higher to protect you face, then you can use your elbows and knee. Don't leave space to him because TKD needs space. Then catch his head and deliver your penatrate knees to his stomach or chest. Your kick is quite good, fast and powerful and kick with your shin. I think you can be a good MT fighter if you learn from a real Thai professional trainer. Well done !

  • Uhh one problem. No knees or elbows allowed.

  • Finally. A Muay Thai fighter getting kicked across the ring like all their cocky asses should. Props.

  • we're cocky? I've known and done a good deal of tae kwon do, and many of them are cocky...

  • LOL. Among the only ones and I didn't see the M.T. guy do much at all

  • Friends I don't appreciate this comment, as I am a Muay Thai fighter. But I suppose you have fairly good reason for coming up with your reasoning.

  • damn i wish i had a friend who would do training like this with me

  • great kick. so do you guys live in springvale or something?

  • I live in Vermont South, he lives around Dande.

  • nice.. i live in doncaster YEA! .. add me.. echyballs AT hotmail DOTcom.. i want to come watch some live fights.. let me know when is next one.. ill bring food!

  • i like your speed and aggresiveness, you should keep the pace fast and keep on attacking and over whelm him. Or work on your power shots.

  • That guy makes Mauy Thai look bad...

  • fuck you

  • OMFG the dude in the red shirt was sooooooo bad. Holy crap to have a TKD guy beat you in hands is pathetic. No offense ot TKD but thats certainly not its specialty. All in all this was a pretty scrubbish match.

  • Taekwondo ITF (north korea traditional taekwondo) DOES TRAIN PUNCHES A LOT....WTF DOESNT

  • retard. it's the fighter not the name of the MA. roundhouse, spinning back kicks...those are all the same in both TKD and MT you idiot. the TKD guy used what works in a fight and saves the fancy kicks for exhibitions. we train with fancy kicks in MT too. and why can't a TKD guy train in boxing. this is not a videogame you tard.

  • Awesome, GO TAE KWON DO, Muay Thai is more effective in close combat though, still I do TKD, and I can fight quarters too. I guess it depends on how you train. But Nice man!

  • Red t-shirt guy seams way heavier to me...

  • Check those leg kicks by raising your knee up and catch it just off the shin. Don't reach for it with your hands like that!

  • I didn't know how to check kicks lol. I know its a bad habit because my hands were down at my body.

  • your mistake, but it was a great fight, you definitivly knew how to fight a muay thai fighter, and he knew also how to fight a tkd fighter...THAT IS THE WHOLE IDEA

  • u dont really fight like u do tkd... idk u actually seem like u kickbox.. i kickbox and u really seem like a kickboxer u dont really move like one but u strike like one..

  • thats amazig man

    do u have msn dude

i fight too muay thai and tae kwon do

haha lets share some techniks =D

    peace dude nice fights

  • ahahha dude thats funny when u slow down it

    hahahaha

hey ur a nice fighter...i used to muay thai and TKD too =)

    d u ahve msn dude

  • you guys hit pretty hard. not bad, you both black belts?

  • Martin is a great fighter I don't see much Tae in there though. Great kicks too man. I like the way you actually transition from body shots to head shots. No one else did that. Great job.

  • Your gf is really good looking lol ;) You guys are both quite skilled. Shy is that kid in the rear right playing with his nipple for the whole video?

  • damn, both of you know how to take hits. even with the thicker gloves, those hits still have to hurt.

  • nice music! =)

  • nice kicks. i cant do a back hook kick, and a back kick without losing my balance.

  • Good one guys!

  • respect =)

    keep it up!

  • lol I hadnt even seen this video yet, the initial back kick was exactly what I was mentioning to ya before, ya faught alot better in this fight then the one i saw before and ya used alot more back and side, great

  • hey what's the name of the first and second song pleasse??? thanks !

  • Great fight, both of you :)

  • i like the idea of putting fighting styles against eachother, and that opening kick tight

  • veru nice fight keep it up.

  • where is this fucking school!!!

  • this is kick ass... loved the fight... the music was great!!! you guys totally look like pros!!!

  • You guys have got heart and some skill, if we ever meet up would you be up to a sparring match?

  • Amazing how little you had to keep your hands up in this fight just because of your leg kicks. I have to admit, the crossover between boxing and kickboxing is smaller than I originally thought... normally I would think hands up is a big help regardless of what sport you're in... but I'd suggest keeping them higher anyway.

  • Gotta lot of respect for the kid doing TKD, he showed alot more guts than I've seen from other practitioners going against others of different disciplines.

  • haha im lovin the tunes

  • Cool fight, its nice to see an exciting match where the fighters don't fall to the floor and grapple for 20 min. You both have great technique. MMA has its place but sometime MMA matches are fucking boring. Great job guys!!

  • martin is a better fighter.

  • looks like u got hit in the balls at the end?

  • Inside leg kick. Close to the balls but nahh didn't hit the jewels.

  • Nothing like a good ol garage fights.. i thought that was only done in Oklahoma!

  • Lol nah nah we aussies enjoy them too.

  • awesome!

  • eh im ex TKD and converted to muay thai. so for striking i incorporate TKD's axe kick and spinning back kick with muay's thai Low round houses and knees. im not that good with elbows. rite now im at an mma dojo, all-around =s best.

  • Nice fight! and the slow motion effects are a cool touch.

  • You mean the guy that fell from getting hit from the spinning back kick? That was Dion. I'm the guy that executed the kick. Lol yeh if it was like a mma match, i'd bet you'd come in with wandy stomps or something.

  • great kicks

  • damn dude u gotta mean spinning back kick

  • Eh, the TKD guy(you) was winning pretty much throughout the movie.

  • Both of you guys have skills!

  • u guys sparring without protection? -.-'

never get injuries from how we call in dutch "short block"?

  • Yeah i forgot my cup that day so i was really scared of getting hit in the balls with an inside leg kick (watch kid vs masato match and you'll understand)

  • hey man u must practise some mixed TKD cause it didnt look like u were doing TKD over there except for ur boxing stance was not so wide. i practise JKD and i got confused with ur way of fighting

  • you and the other guy fought a good fight. good job dudes.

  • I usually dun go easy when giving comments but hey you and your friends are really good! However, there seems to be more than just u and your friends right? I mean, was there any other martial art invovled besides TKD and Muay Thai

  • tell your friend dion to work on his hands, idk how he has such good technique in his training vids but is so sloppy during actual sparring. Spar more work on hands and combinations, work on cardio. That is all.

  • i hate fighting with shorts

  • That proves martial arts don't just get created as jokes. Each martial arts has it's effective techniques. And if applied properly and tought correctly and trained enough should lead to fighter who sticks to his strenghts and knows how to avoid and protect his weaknesses.

  • Dude...have u ever lost a fight???? or do you just not put them up??

  • Dude read the damn details. I lost in this clip fool.

  • nice fight guys! i just started Muay Thai but was very impressed with your TKD. you guys go hard!

  • every punch that was thrown was with the intent to K.O, try and work the jab more and quicker at that, every punch dosent have to be a slugger.

  • Great bloody fight there bro. Best home made fight video I've seen in a long while.Impressive.

    5/5 gloves!

You have great technique in you're kicks for a first time fighter.

Keep you're fists up next time tho. I'll be looking forward for more video's from you.

    GreetZ from Neth-Antillies *

  • This fight under kickboxing rules completely limits the Muay Thai potential. Muay Thai includes so many power strikes with the knees and elbows. Nice vid though

  • Yeh but i was already fighting under his rules and we both understood that elbows and knees can deal some serious damage so we took extra care (note the 16 ounce gloves as well)

  • LOL, there was NO TKD, it was all boxing kicking

  • Read the details properly.

  • nice video kepted me entertained :)

  • they should fight in the UFC

  • yes nice fight

  • Now that's trainning! You guys should use more heel kicks and front kicks to attack and defend though. Also you should direct your punches as straight as possible, it will be harder to see and it will improve your speed and power. Remember that power travels in a straight line. Keep up the good work!

  • damn dat round house kick missed but if u woulda got hit dat woulda been pain damn u making TKD look real good keep it up. and ur friend dion sure can take hits like hell.

  • Good fight. Very good punches for TKD. Keep training!

  • hi. i did tkd for 4 years then stopped because of the job i had back then, now im in tai for 5 months. great tkd fighter but u had the disavantage in tkd theres no instinctal defense for punches and low kicks so the tai fighters usaully gets us there, and after a few hits we go down. but in speed and kicking.. tkd rules. great fight guys.

  • one of the best visuals of the art of combat on this site that ive seen. Beautiful. Great execution of techniques. Itd be an honer to "spar" with you(two).

  • Thats a good idea for being each others confidence boosters, keep it up.

  • better than all the other homemade fights on youtube

  • Not bad :o Although one thing did bother me. Even though knees or elbows weren't allowed, how come the Muay Thai-fighter didn't grapple? Even with no knee-strikes used, it's a powerful technique, for example to get the opponent off balance. But good fight, nice video. Keep it up :)

  • good fights.. keep roling..

  • wheres dion from?

  • Melbourne.

  • Nice video, you have nice, fast kicks.

  • wow good fight

  • wow that some good shit man

  • Nice vid guys. Keep them coming

  • I agree with quad8s before i saw your fight i had no faith tae kwon do fighters. your technique is great, great speed, power, and timing. where do you train? and for how long? keep it up.

  • I used to train 3 years ago but then i quit. Ever since then i haven't been doing much. I started weight training though.

  • Okei, thank you for letting us know that=D

  • do you not train anymore?

  • Nah just trying to gain more muscle mass. I've nearly reached my goal strength so i'll start trimming down to 6% fat.
