@cyclonedrums The "ability" to change pitch in real time does not mean you "Have" to. Drumtone allows you can set a clear, precise pitch anywhere you like and leave it there for as long as you like. Plus, the DrumTone Rings automatically compensate for worn heads with perfectly even tension, always! Its actually a great way to SAVE your heads by getting the most life out of them. I have a set of 20 year old Pinstripes that sound like new!
